Service Stabilitrak Causing Issues on the Hell Pony

- Getting a Service Stabilitrak warning on the DIC in the Hell Pony intermittently this past week. Causing much confusion with the ABS and traction control when coming to a stop or turing at slow speeds. It's also causing my wife to drive my truck more than she already does. I need to get her out of my truck and back in her own car stat. I'll show you how easy it is to in fact service the Stabilitrak by replacing the front and rear wheel speed sensors. This job really only takes a jack, jack stand, 10mm socket, 22mm socket (for a Camaro), and a ratchet. I spent less than an hour on the job and $72 buck out the door for all four sensors delivered to my casa.

Im getting a service stabilitrack light kicks off everything in my 2015 Camaro use to kick on around 35mph now ill be driving for about 7 to 10 minute every time kicks off
I figured GM would have had this ironed out by 2015.
I have a 2012 v6 camaro my wife said she hit a pot hole extremely hard and soon after that message appeared i took it for a drive and when u get up to almost 70 mph the car feels unstable any advice?
Man I feel like mine is a wheel speed sensor too I did my pads and rotors and since then service stabilitrak and now a few codes come up about torque management. 2015 Camaro 1SS
can a bad starter cause a stabiltrak light?
I just had bearings changed and i get stabitrack active when i let go of the gas at around 13-17 mph…. Not sure if this would be it and if i need to do all of them. I just want to fix it though…
My Camaro SS45th has this issue stabillitrak but also has a oil leak in the differential.
i went to go get an alignment for my rear suspension & as i left the shop the stabilitrak light came on any recommendations??
I overhauled my stock L99 engine heads, valves are now in excellent condition like new, and tight enough. Replaced springs, valve steam rubbers, pushrods, rockers , spark plugs , cleaned valve lifters and injectors (no collapsed lifters on 100K mileage). Replaced all timing components and VVT along with camshaft sensor and magnet. Service Stabilitrak msg is still comes on during cranking along with a rough idle and a clicking noise. Valve lifters were found good but several of them had a scratches on the rollers. Oil pump is new, 50 psi on cruising and 26-29 psi on hot idle. Any suggestions ?? No fault codes

@@dmill4733 nope, still service stabilitrak on cranking . I replaced 20% of the oil with Marvel Mystery Oil and clicking sound became quieter. Still rough idle :)

I changed my wheels and tires not to long ago for my 2015 camaro, as i was leaving the tire shop this stablitrak code came up. I was wondering if maybe it was the tire sensors or not? When im going around maybe 30 mph and start breaking theres a grinding noise and you can feel it in the break pedal as well. Any Ideas on what it could be man?
I’m not sure if that would cause it or not. I don’t see why it couldn’t, but it doesn’t on mine. I have 2021 SS wheels on my 2015 and the sensors are not compatible so my TPMS warning light stays on. I don’t get any Stabilitrac warning though. 30mph seems super sketchy for ABS to be kicking in not needed and if it actually sounds like grinding, I’d check that there isn’t something actually grinding. When the ABS kicks on it sounds to me like a whining noise.

Service stabil Trac was a bad fuel injector on my 2010 rs/2ss

what were the symptoms you had ? i have a 10 rs/2ss and everytime i would go 65 mph it would start to jerk really bad when i hit on the gas but i already changed a lot of stuff idk what it could be ?the stabilititrak would come on and off
@@jazzlejohnson5364 My issue was the same as marks. What he failed to mention is it’s accompanied by a rough idle and a very noticeable misfire when warmed up.
@@tylercliff5870mines 2010 Camaro 3.6 does the same thing track control plus enough idle did u figure it out ...mines comes on when it comes to a full stop then it rough idles when I accelerate the lights disappear but symptom still there I have a master scanner and the speed sensors read correctly while I'm in motion
Hey man I’ve had stabilitrack for a couple of months already I’ve never had a check engine light and the car is running good the stabilitrack came on one day after I did a pull and the car spawn
It's came on a few times in the past but went away on it's own. In this case, it was steady on and causing the ABS to kick in while braking just before coming to a complete stop.
What happens if it still comes back on?
If it's not the sensor or the wheel bearing/hub assembly, I'd start chasing wires or take it to the dealer if that's in the budget. I've had a few different vehicles now that have had this issue and it's been one of those two, not to say it can't be something else though.
How you order them the sensor how are they called?
They’re called Wheel Speed Sensors. I ordered them from the amazons.
how much were the parts?
They were $20 for the rears and $25 for the fronts if I remember correctly. Were not too terribly expensive and easy to replace.

@@jazzlejohnson5364 I changed my abs sensor today on the driver side, just ordered all the rear and the front passenger , going to change those then see what's up. I noticed that since I changed it, I'm hearing a strange clicking noise from the front passenger side, meaning it might be the front passenger that's the problem, it could be broken. I'll get on that next week.
@Beyond The Firmament did you check to see if maybe the wheel bearings may be going bad? Nacho was starting to make a clicking noise from the front driver side when turning. I replaced both hubs and the noise is gone. I did have a 2006 Silverado that would do the same thing as the Camaro was and it was hubs on that one.
@@jazzlejohnson5364 I just changed the hub on the driver side, I could change it on the passenger side also
So there’s 2 for the front and 2 for the rear… do I just buy 2 of both front and rear or is it a left side right side?
