That's the best portrayal legend Liston so far the cinematography behind this scene is amazing you can listen the change of sound when the door opens then his heavy foot steps and starring at sir foreman and impolite behaviour all together makes you watch this again and again
I know the name George Foreman. Forman, to me, accomplished the most amazing feat in sports history. By beating Joe Frazier the way he did still amazes me 51 years later. I was a young kid at that time. I don't know the names of the athletes that were standing with their fists in the air. I'm sure people do, but I don't
84” reach - 15” fists - 6’1” tall - maybe 220 lbs at that time - and possibly the strongest heavyweight boxing champion of all time - could run circles and box circles and beat circles around the young Foreman - and he was somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 years old at that time in 68/69 - Sonny Liston was a monster of a man
@@swlabretwquint1311 Such a Monster that Ali Beat senseless 2 times!! GTFOOHWTS!! 💁🏿♂️Y'all still missing the point!! He Wasn't As Big as THIS DUDE IN THE MOVIE,📽 IS all Saying!!😏🤷🏿♂️
I would've been turned off by that remark. "Do I look like the type of woman that sits around waiting by the phone?". I wouldve said "i dont know but im not call u 2 find out. Bye!" 🙄
I love how foreman smiled when Liston walked in the room. It is a combination of awe, confidence and motivation.

Totally epic.
It doesn't look like Sonny at all, but the vibes are on point
They worked together very briefly, George absorbed everything including Sonny’s savvy.
Liston was Foremans mentor.
Archie Moore.
That actually does look like Sonny Liston
AHAHAHAHAH
Not at all
But the vibe and atmosphere? He is Sonny Liston.
Liston was Foremans mentor and father figure. Liston should have had a way bigger role in the movie.
Foreman is a continuation of Sonny Liston.
I wish this movie had more scenes with Sonny - one of the most mysterious boxers. That & along with George's amateur journey to the gold medal.
The Punching Preacher Big George Foreman 🇺🇸
I love that part about the flag controversy. George showed he was America’s hero, nobody remembers the two track stars.
Foreman was Wilder with actual boxing skills.
I know one thing: After meeting Sonny Liston that day, George upped his training literally TENFOLD.

I gotta watch this. Looks great! Also I would watch a movie about Sonny Liston.
Actor's voice of Foreman looks like so much of that of Franklin of GTA
This has so many famous boxers like Ali
I got a plan mama
Cmon Man! Y'all know Sonny Liston Wasn't that Dam Big!😂
But he was.
@@armandogarza3423 No he wasn't!!

What was wrong with Sonny Liston? Why was he looking at George like that?
Intimidation
It probably wasn't personal sonny liston was known for having a mean look towards almost everybody
Because he thought Foreman a small fry until Foreman lasts for a year. He was so impressed that he took his time to train Foreman.
That's how the movie depicted him. In reality he was really nice, just misunderstood.
they dont love you because you dont love them
Gold medals (plural)? He only won one.

This movie looks like a super cheesy, on the nose, cheaply made, piece of garbage. Big George deserves better than this dumpster fire.
It’s most consistent with history in all those box movies
look liston
