Hello Tiffany I have a quick question??? I'm in the process for getting my first Ipad pro 11 & I was wondering what kinda screen protector are you using I really like the sound of your screen protector it kinda sounds like paper when you draw & I've seen so many of those & I just wanna know what brand it is or if it's even worth getting a paperlike screen cover thanks for any advice :D
Ive watched a lot of videos on punch needling, including people trying it for the first time, but this is the only one that actually showed things going wrong, which i really appreciate. If i try a new craft and things go wrong unexpectedly it's always really demotivating for me, so this helps me know what to expect!
I'm glad I'm not the only person who buys a bunch of new craft supplies and then never actually does a project! :P Your little apple came out so cute and now I wanna try punch needling!!!
As an embroiderer (never tried this but def will after watching!), when using thinner fabric like this you've got to use smaller embroidery hoops, even on big projects! Go section by section.
Really impressed you were able to complete the project using the wooden hoop! Those are known to be pretty terrible at keeping the fabric taut. Morgan no slip hoops, gripper frames, or stretcher bars + staples or tacks are all good alternatives. Also the wooden needle you used looks to be an imitation of the Oxford punch needle-the brand just posted about there being lots of fake versions of their patented design lately! Definitely recommend anyone looking for a needle shop the Oxford needle directly from their site or from verified resellers :) Lastly, a great tip I learned for making lines clearer (like the mouth) is to rip out that yarn when you're done with everything else, then re-punch it :)
You're one of the few artists that I always re watch and feel very comfortable watching. It feels like Im with a friend 🌷💜 thank you tiff for making videos that keep me company
I have had a punch needle sitting on my desk taunting me for 4 years. This video has FINALLY made me want to use it! SO CUTE. I'm going to get some monks cloth and a no slip loop and give it a try! YAY!
I’m only half way through but I think you showing us your mistakes at the beginning really helps us. I’m sure I would have done it just like you. I also saw that if you remove the yarn and have those big holes, you can ‘erase’ then by running your fingers over them. Also use a screwdriver on the metal screw on the hoop to tighten the fabric after pulling taught. Also keep the needle facing forward all the time ( so you see the yarn at the point). I heard the purple and yellow tufting needle is the better one to use. Make sure you stitches are consistent by pushing the needle through the monks cloth all the way down. Ok I’m going back to the vlog lol 💕
Your punch needle rug turned out so cute! You did a lot of punch needling in just one hour. No wonder your hand was cramping haha. I've never tried punch needling but it seems like a craft that is better to do in increments
My mom used to do punchneedle when I was younger, and I remember to sit on the couch and help her or just watch her working. This video was so nostalgic and I felt so peaceful watching this. Thank you for that
This makes me want to give it a try too! sometimes i think i won't be good at other mediums but i never even give myself a chance to try anything. This was nice to see you try something new even if its not as perfect as we artists want our creations to be.
Your apple came out super cute I love it 😍 you can always cut a little bit threw the eyes and mouth to give it the shape you desire, just enough to where you can get the shape or black outline to be seen. I love it. Also this has given me an extra push to finally start my needle punch going, I'd been wanting to do this for some months now and smh always thought to ignore starting small and go for the bigger frame and gun 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Thank you for motivating me X o.X.o
I’ve been binge watching punch needling projects since Friday ( today is Monday). I saw a random coaster vlog and I’ve been ‘hooked’ hahaha no pun intended! Excited to see the outcome of yours! 🌷🌸🌷🌸
I really like your video! I am starting punch needle, and I’m glad this video popped up :) it was really fun to watch And the comment section is also really helpful, so thank you everyone
not sure if anyone has commented this but if you put your needle on like 45-ish degree angle it comes in and out of the fabric way easier & it's way less effort
Your wall hanging came out so cute! Congrats on your milestone! I think it’s such a great idea to celebrate with a day of learning a new skill. I really like the idea of treating oneself to a new craft, it seems like it might help take the pressure off and it’s not something I would have thought to do. ❤️💙
I wonder if letting the outline as the last step wouldn't be better. But, I don't know anything about punch needle, and I think you made a great job!! I can't wait to try it as well.
This makes me totally want to try punch needling, I do knit crochet and embroidery and have a lot of materials so this seems like a great way to de-stache a bit on my yarn! Great Job and it looks so cute!
omg tiffany this turned out so beautiful!! I've wanted to try this myself but I got really overwhelmed when I looked into how-to videos 🥴 seeing your first run of this craft is so inspiring!! I think your apple friend turned out so so cute! 💖💕
Sometimes loops get tangled in each other when punching, so if you take care to untangle the loops and push them into place, thin lines will stand out more! It really makes a difference when finishing your work!
It’s so cute!!!! I LOVE it!!!! I think I’m going to do Christmas gifts and cats 🐈 for family and friends this year. It’s such a cute idea! I love the colors you chose too!! ❤️❤️💖 Beautiful!
I love it! 💕 This whole video was so cute and fun to watch! I hope you are doing well, and resting and taking good care of yourself 💕 Thank you for all of the inspiring content you produce and share!
I just binge watched all of your videos, you are great. And also your punch needle apple! I think the fabric you used was more adequate for cross stitching, fabric with larger holes is easier for yarn punch needle. But great job!
I love this video so much! Yay for trying new things and I love your outfit! I had a little giggle to myself after *realizing what I just said* cause I would be that way too! Keep creating!!!

NO PLEASE ITS THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY I DONT WANT A RANDOM URGE TO MAKE A PUNCH RUG RIGHT NOW 😩✋
Ive watched a lot of videos on punch needling, including people trying it for the first time, but this is the only one that actually showed things going wrong, which i really appreciate. I brought a tufting gun did half a rug and I’m board ❤😂
Looks great!
Thanks for the tips. My hand has been cramping and stuff so I appreciate the wisdom.

That’s so smart!! Thank you
@@apple.cheeks aw no worries ^-^ can't wait to see what you make next, this one was so cute.
the productivity lvl in this one day is so stronk 🤚
I so get you about being intimidated by new things. I got a 3d printer a month ago and I just started to use it because I was afraid of it lol

My envy at having a store like Michael's.
Mostly everything at Michaels is on Amazon for cheaper
michaels is ooooverly expensive :(
the apple friend reminds me of bt21 tata. so cute ! i wanna try punch needle now :)
Good job for the first try ! I'm impressed ! It's very cute !!!! Your apple looks like the Tata heart from BT21.
I used to do this when I was a kid! My grandma is a crafter and thought me all the needle crafts. Loved the apple!
So excited for this one. I’ve been making punch needle wall hangings and I love them so much.
Woooo ❤️
Do you have any advice to give? I‘ve been wanting to make them for a while now...
You're one of the few artists that I always re watch and feel very comfortable watching. It feels like Im with a friend 🌷💜 thank you tiff for making videos that keep me company
D makes the smallest loops and it goes up to A which makes the biggest loops.
This is making me want to learn how to punch needle. I’m currently having one of my spontaneous, “let’s try something new!!” phases. This seems fun!
I have had a punch needle sitting on my desk taunting me for 4 years. This video has FINALLY made me want to use it! SO CUTE. I'm going to get some monks cloth and a no slip loop and give it a try! YAY!
yay!!
It helps to angle your needle. This keeps your stitches more uniform. Great start!
The outcome is so beautiful!! please make more!!!

Oh it turned out so cute! 🍎
Pulling out the threads look so satisfying!
This video inspired me to start working on the punch needle kit i got 3 months ago! And i'm halfway done now. Thank you!!
AC: "that took forever..like 2 hrs!"
ME: *spends 80 hrs on something half as cool*
Haha same😂😂
Your punch needle rug turned out so cute! You did a lot of punch needling in just one hour. No wonder your hand was cramping haha. I've never tried punch needling but it seems like a craft that is better to do in increments

I love the cute little apple. Never done punch needling, but thinking will give it a go after watching you.
My mom used to do punchneedle when I was younger, and I remember to sit on the couch and help her or just watch her working. This video was so nostalgic and I felt so peaceful watching this. Thank you for that
It is so adorable. You are brave to try something out of your comfort zone.. I love the colors of yarn that you chose.
YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB
it looks lovely, your punch needle rug. Soooo cute!!!!
I love how you were just like: wait, let me pick up a new hobby and skill :D and then made something super cute!
This makes me want to give it a try too! sometimes i think i won't be good at other mediums but i never even give myself a chance to try anything. This was nice to see you try something new even if its not as perfect as we artists want our creations to be.

Punch needle seems to be a trend now and I love it! I havent tried it myself yet tho. The apple turned out so cute :)
I like the uncertainty and just going for it regardless bc I’m in my “finding new hobbies” era and I want to jump into this lol
not sure if anyone has commented this but if you put your needle on like 45-ish degree angle it comes in and out of the fabric way easier & it's way less effort
