I will have a new car by then does the car registration matter?

As far as I recall, you had to put in your registration when you pre-booked. Then, on entering the fast park building you type your registration in. I would check on the website just in case, as you might need to change your booking.

While booking, how long after the flight should be inserted as the time to ensure the car is in the collection already

Yes, I wondered this too, but when you get to the booth to “check in” you select your actual return flight from a list that pops up on screen. They will then track your flight. On the website I just put in an hour after landing but it made no difference.

@@halftermtravellers thanks for the information. Will surely try FastPark next time. Didnt book fastPark for this reason only.
As of now I have settled for MultiStorey car park which was offered for the same price and includes FastSecure as well.
