I LOVE that you did this video. Always happy to know what to expect when dropping into any new city. Really well made and edited! Thank you, my friend! ⭐🙌
Thank you so much. Particularly liked you showing how you purchase a ticket! We are coming to Scotland for 4 weeks in May and June & found this video very helpful...step 1...airport to hotel!
This was so helpful !! Thank you! I’m the type of person who stresses about transition. This was exactly what was i looking for in a video ! Modes or transportation and prices ! Thank you! Can’t wait to explore in two weeks ! 😊
Very informative, thanks for the information! Like the tram idea, but that ends with a 0.5 mile walk to hotel from West End station it appears. Wonder if hauling luggage for a 10 day trip will be a hassle in this area, I assume Edinburgh is hilly and older streets, sidewalks so roller bag wouldn't be my friend...
Thanks for ypur great video. We shall stay at Best Western Kings Manor hotel on 100 milton road east.If we take the tram from the airport where can we get off?
Best bet get tram to princess street then jump on bus 44, 113, 124, all go to that hotel the stop is outside the hotel 2 mins walk the hotel is next to the school
Hi, I don't speak English very well, I have to leave from Newcastle to Edinburgh because it's urgent to leave for Italy so I have the plane at 5 in the morning so I have to leave the evening before to arrive in Edinburgh at midnight and I wanted to know if there are buses that go from the station to the airport at night? Where do you catch the bus and last very important question because I and my newborn travel, Edinburgh airport is always open because I wouldn't want to be on the street with a newborn. Thank you for your answer.
The best way for me is definitely the tram. It’s very easy to handle, cheap, doesn’t take much time and the fact that it drive to New Haven this spring as well make it even more attractive 👍but hopefully they don’t put their prices up to get the money back they invested to build the new line.
Can the taxis at the taxi stand accommodate six passengers or do you have to book a taxi ahead of time. There really doesn't seem to be a significant difference in time to the City Centre between the 100 and the tram. Maybe at rush hour the tram is faster. I don't know. I almost tempted to take the 100 and save the 2 pounds.
@@edinburghandbeyond That’s Airport Barrier fee the same fee for Edinburgh Hackneys picking up or dropping off within Edinburgh Airport Dropoff & Pick up Area.
Very helpful. The tram is the number one choice by far...
Very good information!! I took notes, thank you

The bus and tram prices just went up in April
@@edinburghandbeyond for real? How much more did the tickets cost now?
@@mrpisswater all tickets prices are on video mate half way thou
@@edinburghandbeyond yeah but what was it before it gets up? How much more is it now in comparison to the old price?
@@mrpisswater it was 4.50 before for day saver no 5 pound for city only not airport u can ride tram and buses
I’m now confused. After 14 April will there be no more black cabs?
From the airport taxi rank, yes, it's taken over by a private company
And they have no wheelchair accessible cabs
What about public toilets in Edinburgh?
I will do that
You are genius.Thanks.

HOW MUCH FOR AN UBER OR A TAXI??
Uber won't pick u up cause of the fees to get into the pick up point they ask you to walk all outside the airport
That is utter rubbish about Uber. Uber will pick you up at drop off & pick up area
Uber will pick you up at drop off and pick up area.
