I've been to many of their Concerts, but I wasn't able to see this one. I would have LOVED to have attended this one - just INCREDIBLE! They are just World Class all the way!
Saw these guys so many times from the 80's and twenty years later. Every show in the later days I would stand up in my chair (with reserved seating) and got total support from real fans and told the bs fans to FO. In the old days you had to wait in line to get tickets of you were a real fan.
The classic bassist in this video is Charles Burrell, the "Jackie Robinson of Classical Music." This must have been an amazing experience, not just for the audience but also for the Moody Blues as well.
I've been a Moody Blues fan since 1969. I've been to 4 or 5 concerts but I will always wish that I had attended this concert. Red Rocks was a great concert.
Not a cell phone to be seen, just people dancing and enjoying the music. I miss those days. I went to a concert a few years back and I couldn't even see the stage due to everyone holding their phones up to record the show.
Easily one of the greatest Rock and Roll songs of all time, from one of the greatest performances of all time. I enjoyed their work, but it was this show and this song that cemented me as a Fan. Too loud just isn't loud enough for this one.
They sure knew how to put on a concert... and this as their encore absolutely fabulous... You couldn't help yourself clapping and singing along with them!! 😊 ❣️
Music in 2024 doesn't hold a flame to the music of the 50;s, 60's, 70's and 80's

This concert taught me what rock and roll was. It's one of my earliest memories.
Red Rocks.....God's perfect concert venue.

Love Ray Thomas. RIP Ray. You were great! And you are missed.
I was there in the 2nd row! Simply amazing, both nights (first night was filmed). Red Rocks rocks! Moody Blues 4ever!

These guys are Awsome!
Super Bowl halftime concert? No? Should be! This, plus "I'm Just A Singer" :)
You'll never 'get' the Moody Blues by ONLY listening to an LP. Attend a concert, experience the Moody Blues!
it's too late for me
I was lucky enough to see them on their 2016 "Fly me High" tour. Best night of my life!
This. Is. Awful. Hayward's guitar sounds terrible >> should've stayed w the Gibson. Keyboards are awful. Horns, awful. Just. Awful.
You are SO right! They are fantastic in concert. I have seen them 3 times
Saw them and others in the late 70's. Those concerts were priceless.
Hayward rockin' that AXE!

FANTASTIC👑👑👑👑👑💖🙏👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Love the drum solo and the grand entrance of the band. That's probably the closest Graeme Edge gets to a real rock-n-roll drum solo.
Thanks for this treasure!
Made a great video too
Ray T did this song so ggggggood!
class always...great haloween treat
I saw them in Cincy in 83 & Dayton in ,98 the rock
Love you Art Bell.

John looks hot
SO DOES JUSTIN>>>>>>>🥰🥰🥰🥰
Jerry Garcia on drums ? Ha, just kidding, love this song.
That's the way I play the piano
John Lodge always has fun. HE's a bad ass bass player too. No virtuosity..really?
Lodge wrote this one.
3:12 GUITAR SOLO
1:15 RIDE
2:44 INTERLUDE
who's doing the falsetto?
Didn't you see the 2 women singing backup?
John Lodge, if I'm not mistaken ...
Listen to "Nights in White Satin"
this looks very Las Vegas / TV Church
jaydavee--Good call...
jaydavee Then I need some church.
Best as I can remember from the late 60s he always dressed like that. Course I was mostly wasted when I listened to "In Search of the Lost Chord."
Puffy shirt
Suits him. He is SO handsome in this video. Well, he's always been handsome... to this day he is handsome. Something sexy about that shirt.
ToGetToTerrapin my wifes fantasy man grrrrr
2 people hate real music.
Justin wants to be a pirate
Justin can wear whatever he wants - he's rocking that shirt!
They got a bit too glitzy with the dancing girls and Hollywood style intro honestly. i like the simpler versions better.
Justin Hayward was so yummy. (He still is.)
