2:16 Commander Game - Adam, Ben, Cameron, and Serge
#LRROTJ #Magic #OTJ Игры
Ben: *deals 1 incidental damage to Serge*
AND HERE COMES SERGE WITH A STEEL CHAIR
One of my student hit me for 2 once. I swung for 27 the next turn lol
I can always tell when I'm going to enjoy a commander when Adam is also enjoying it, I feel like we have similar taste. These look like good fun!
Praise Heather for the upload!
All hail our RUclips overlord Heather!

Today was a rough day. This helps. Thank you for all the years and years of content... and like the 3 shirts 😂.
Hope today was better
This one turned a bit spicy towards the end.
Great Show LRR Team! Wizards please get back to sponsoring these fine folks!
Super fun! The RWG deck looks spicy.
Love having the seperate videos to watch honestly
50:05 So far, it seems like the best commander for the Desert Bloom deck is Hazezon, lol.
WIth - if you can afford it - Hazezon Tamar in the 99.
Let’s see if Rumbleweed is gonna be as impactful this time as the other times I have seen these deck battle.
“All these kids know is Thoracle, eat hot chip, and lie.” - Serge, basically.
Serge: you approach Adam in a box in the forest, do you open the box?
well played! that was awesome!
Nice to see all of these videos out! You guys piloted those decks wonderfully, Ben especially with that heckin' complicated lands deck!
Red Dead Redemption: Canadian edition.
Thank you team ❤❤❤🎉
1:20:58 Cameron with Fear Factory reference my man 🤘
Cool video!
Man another Land matters/land recur deck pops off but this time in Naya. Was hoping to see more out of Izzet and Olivia. All in all, back to back precon releases where I want to buy at least 2 or 3 of the 4
Nice stuff
3:17 Serge:" When you said the baby, I just thought the Jace, Vraska baby"
Wait! Jace & Vraska had a baby!!!
Yeag. The treasure everyone was hunting for at Thunder Junction was a mascot character called Loot that has a comprehensive, auto-updating map of the multiverse in his head. Jace and Vraska have adopted this child and are planning something pretty big for the multiverse.
As Maldhound put it, Jace busts raw.
@@johncameron1935 He does, but the child was still an adopted one.
I'm doing my part!
Shadow mage is Jon Finkel's invitational card, it is most definitely boomer magic, lol
More like Gen X magic.
I was surprised they used the Finkel art too. They don’t do that often.
ALGORYTHMO HEAR MY CALL!
I'm integral to the whole situation
Fresh EDH Pre Cons 🤤🤤🤤
The real boomer magic was the vast tracts of land on Ben's side of the table.
10:45 I feel ya boys. I got hit in the ear.
they should've given Marshal's Anthem new art
The way Ben disregards the Ancient Greenwarden makes me sad
I popped so hard when Ben milled Hazezon, I loved that old card.
I'm helping!
Can you even do planchase when no one can plainswalk?
Not everyone lost their spark
Something tells me Desert walk isn't gonna stick
Its crime time
Oh snap, the Naya deck has Harrow?! CRACKED. I LOVE Harrow. Great include.
Wahoo!
Spoiler for basically all outlaws precon matches:
Turns out a weaker Craterhoff is still extremely powerful. Rumbleweed and the maya deck are the mvps of this precon set. I have seen for matches and Jaya won all of them.
Oh man, less than 1 min in and here we are with a Friday Nights style intro, complete with the theme.
Dis gonna be good.
For a second on the turn Ben took out Serge. From the corner of my eye, it looked like Cameron was sitting there knitting.
Desert Bloom has such a fun theme for a precon that fits Outlaws of Thunder Junction like a glove, but the precon itself is absolutely terrible, imho. Only 15 non-land cards in the entire deck do any milling/discarding - and I've included all cards in that list that only mill a single card *once*. Where are cards like Tormenting Voice, Wild Guess, Cathartic Reunion and Thrill of Possibility to mill lands to make the commander cheaper and cards like World Shaper and The Mending of Dominaria that much more effective ? The precon could have also really used Life from the Loam and - maybe - Golgari Grave-Troll.
The deck contains all of the notable deserts, including a bunch of new, precon-exclusive ones, which is very appreciated, but where is Jetmir's Garden, a perfectly on-color land with Cycling ? Where are any of the oldschool Cycling lands that we had seen (kind of pointlessly) included in precons past ?
I went to go cook and came back halfway through the video, why’d you target my baby boi Serge!
It was a good game, but was a little disappointed that Serge with a little over half an hour left in the game, but that's Commander.
There is a new "mechanic" with these precons. Was there a reason, why you played the precons without the "bounty cards"? The mechanic is not very special and don't change the gameplay a lot, like planechase, but maybe it has a greater effect than I imagine. 🤔
Just decided to keep the game simple. BUT we use the bounties on the upcoming EDSC (should be out Monday the 15th).
Spoilers: they’re fun and don’t overly warp the game.
@@LRRMTG Understandble.
Nice! Looking forward to see this game.
1:39:36 Damn, Den’s doing a great job playing that beck
While I love the Gonti deck, I'm always a little conflicted on card theft. Since the deck relies on stealing other people's cards, it seems to paint a big target on you, but your actual cards likely don't carry much synergy cause you're relying on other people's cards. I'd love to see more of the deck, or see Felix Five Boots at the helm
Disappointed y'all decided to cut limited rounds in favor of edh.
Dongle bongled 🎉

Wow, this is so epic poggers poggers champion. I am engaging with the power of the RUclips algorithm

This clunky, durdling İzzet seems pretty fun in comparison to these overpowered abominations that take turns lasting over 30 minutes :p This game is getting more and more complicated, where is the simple joy of slinging a pair of spells per turn… ;p
Commander has always been complex, that's inherent to the nature of the format where people can build up big boardstates and players have inflated life totals. Play Limited if you want simplicity.
Still upset they gave Gonti green for the only reason of making Villainous Wealth available in his colors, a card that doesn't even synergize with his abilities.
First off, what about that is upsetting? Secondly, as you see the deck does more with Green than just let you cast Villainous Wealth. Stealing the opponents' cards is a major payoff, but the deck also has a major theme of saboteur effects which Green has a ton of, and Green provides the ramp in order to cast the spells that Gonti exiles from the opponents' libraries.
@@Mordalon Because I prefer the consistency of 2-color mana bases over the versatility of 3-color mana bases when it comes to commander. I like building within restrictions. Yeah, I _could_ build it as a Dimir deck, but the problem now arises that if I want to ever cast Gonti, I have to at the very least splash for green, which is something I don't want to do. Everything on the card are things that are mechanically within Dimir's part of the color pie, so it would still be mechanically sound without green.
Also, while the deck has a saboteur subtheme, that doesn't necessitate the addition of green. It very well could play around with that mechanic without green. As for ramp, you don't need green to do that either. Mana rocks do more or less the same thing at a similar rate, and every color has access to those. If you specifically want to tutor lands to the battlefield, yeah you'll probably need to dip into green, but nothing about this strategy specifically needs land ramp.
Finally, there's also the fact that Aetherborn, _especially_ Gonti, are philosophically Black, with the occasional dip into Blue. Nothing about his character is philosophically Green. The addition of Green was strictly mechanical, and makes the card less interesting as a result.
In short, I don't like that they made Gonti have green for dubious at best reasons. I would have much more liked the card if it were just Dimir. If I want to play this deck the way I want, I guess I just need to keep Tasha in the command zone, despite being more attached to the character and aesthetic of Gonti.
@@ToxicAtom Your preferences aren't the only ones that matter. There's tons of Blue/Black Commanders that steal stuff and care about saboteur effects, while this Gonti and Felix Five-boots are the only Sultai commanders to care about building around this. It's a design space that Green has leaned into almost as much as Dimir, so it makes sense to have a commander that cares about that. It's not "dubious", it's just a way they design commanders that has been the case for a long, long time.
And a character's colors don't have to be just about their personal philosopies. Many of Maro's answers about fictional character colors take into account both personalities as well as their physical attributes and abilities. For example, what made the Sultai on Tarkir Green in the first place?
This game is a good example of why I don't play commander.
This is the worst game of mtg I have seen in a long time. Ben does not have the skill to play this kind of deck missing triggers not understanding the stack and priority and taking 30 mins on one of his turns. Absolutely terrible.
