cuz felix doesnt say "when one or more creatures hitting something" it says "when **a** creature hits something causes something to trigger it triggers an additional time"
shouldnt that count for every creature hitting a player producing an additional gonti trigger? or am i thinking too much? maybe i am thinking too much

@heirofheart766 so gontis wording is when one or more creatures hit a player you take a card, felix would make it so you take two
The spikefeeders played it as every creature that hits takes a card which is way more powerful
@@heirofheart766 When a creature connects, felix asks not only "did combat damage happen?" but also "did any abilities trigger as a result?". And as Gonti triggers only once per opponent, it will just double these triggers. All the other combat damage causes no triggers and as such they don't get doubled.
Really appreciate you showing all the cards that are mentioned, not just played! The worst thing about watching commander gameplay is having to stop the video and look up a card that gets referenced but not explained. I didn't think y'all could get better, but you did 😋

You always had some of the best gameplay and editing but props to the editor and/or artist who made the new graphics. The video quality just keeps getting better and better on this channel.

Gonti is a one or more trigger, Alex asks if its one or more but gets told its whenever incorrectly, Madison should have only exiled 2 cards each from Alex and Jim

Excellent editing and really nice new graphics. Definitely down to call the new lands that deal 1 damage "shoot lands" though I doubt they'll be very widely played.

for me there was a mistake for the effect of gonti at 26:05.
The effect says:
Whenever one or more creatures deal combat damage to a player. So you can exile only 1 card for each opponent except a minion has double strike then there are two instances that deal dmg to an opponent and it triggers twice.
My great uncle used to come over to my grandfather's house and steal vegetables out of his garden, round these parts he was known as the swiss-chard grave robber.
That Gonti deck was sweet! I was originally gonna build a Don Andres thievery type deck but this has me questioning if Gonti would be better
Rules aside I think biggest thing that may have helped the game was Alex not putting Olivia in the grave when he had a reanimation spell ready. The 3 life gain may have helped, as well he could have held mana to crack all that food he had to heal up a bit over utilizing dire fleet when he was already on the defensive.
I can use any type of mana mean I can use colorless mana to cast it. Gonti give 1 cost reduction and Doc Aurlock give 2 cost reduction cast from exile so I can cast 0 mana for the spell cost mana 3 or less, am I correct?

13:21 can somebody explain to me why according to the edit Bill should get a 1/1 from that land discard? Both Sand Scout and Crawling Sensation had already triggered that turn, their text reads "triggers only once per turn" and "First time a land would enter your graveyard", respectively. What am I missing?

Another thing you could do in fallout with pick pocket: use a number of super stims on someone, wait an hour and then the rebound would kill them.
That sol ring maddy stole should have been free to cast since its 1 less from gonti right?
That Villainous Wealth definitely should have targetted Alex. Out of the 3 target decks it had the better possibility of strong hits.
We didn't know what were in the decks at the time of filming and we go in pretty blind. But yeah it felt pretty bad hitting basically nothing. :P I was robbed i tell you!

Nice work on the redesign for the overlay. Text could be a bit bigger though, especially for the deck notes at the beginning. I had some trouble reading those.
ok so generally I like these new g(i)ra(ffe)phics for the video and i think these ones are great. Would be neat to have like a visual reminder of who is in what colors. but i don't know if that's been tried and was seen as too noisy. I could well be in the minority opinion here.

Man the quick draw deck did exactly as good as I thought it would. So sad my favorite color combo has been reduced to this
The other commander is far more interesting.
There was a chance to copy an opt or expressive iteration which was skipped, but it is true that "cast 3 spells and have an instant or sorcery you like on the stack" is a bit of a tough ask.

I saw something in previews about a "bounty" minigame with the commander decks? is that a thing, did i misunderstand something, or did it not come with the first look versions of the decks? pumped for the next 3 precon vids, the 2k mana base idea is clever!
