I don't know that it matters, but the turn Jan played Proft's Eidetic memory it should have been 29 counters, not 28. The "minus one" text is to cancel out the card drawn for turn, and the card for turn wasn't counted in the calculation

The mandatory draw is something to be mindful of, but if you’re drawing that many cards you can find a way to bounce Niv before you deck yourself and combo out.
