Avacyn wearing a basilisk collar sounds like the most metal thing, even for a gothic plane with a vampire whose card literally means 'Sorin the joyless'
"You're at 72 life!" Not for long he wasn't. Aristocratic life gain/drain is one of my favorite strategies, and I am also a huge fan of Black Market. It's been referred to as a "win more" card, but today it proved it's definitely a card to be reckoned with. :)
This is quickly becoming my favorite commander show to watch on RUclips. Love the dynamic between the 4 of you. Congratulations on the win Blake! Even with all the hate towards the taxation draw effects you kept your composure… respect.
The look on Blake’s face when Ben countered his removal on Shae’s commander was the very essence of entertainment and, I reckon, provided the fuel to go all the way this game. Congrats Blake! Maybe we can get a Spelltable game one day, it would be my honor …Yo 😎
I learned from another comment on here that Blake makes videos about Explorer decks! Explorer is my favourite new format, so I've followed on RUclips and Twitter. Looking forward to watching some great videos!
Teysa Karlov was my first ever EDH deck, way back when she was released. She has been the only deck to have constantly survived my ever changing wheel of commander decks. I can't describe the excitement I had seeing her in the thumbnail, and I'm happy it was Blake as her companion. Excellent game guys! All debt shall be paid, in death and blood.
Once I saw the video was an hour long I thought, “Oh this is going to end in a pop off”, and that’s exactly what happened! Shouts out to the winner, your commander is one of my favs 🥹
CGB flicking a toothpick:Hey Yo! Blake after running through Shea and Ben: I don't care how many treasures you have. YOU"RE NEXT! Nice job on that 3 player OTK Blake. Aristocrats doing Aristocrats things. Loved the gameplay and there was no Peace in our time.
I love the deck Blake!! I have an Elenda the Dusk Rose deck and I’ll sometimes switch it up with Teysa Karlov as commander. I love making so many tokens and then straight up not win by combat damage haha Hope to see more aristocrats in the future :)
The rise of the aristocracy against taxes, a story as old as time itself. Blake just doing his best aristocrat impersonation and dishing out treasures to CGB without a care in the world and benefiting from everyone on the battlefield dying. It was glorious!
AWESOME VIDEO!!! It crazy pay for 1 then yooo pay for 2 then Shea was like nooo then pay for 4 and Ben pinging damage at random like a sniper then Shea dove deep drowning everyone for a bit but CGB rises up in the air with angel wings killing just about everything in it path but no one knew Blake was doing some black market dealing in a dark alley then meeting some questionable people on a dark tower but kick them all off from the top like Sparta that lead to the demise of everyone else in a Instant like taking candy from a baby lol congrats Blake 😎🤟🏾
Congrats Blake! Though I have to admit I'm surprised you didn't give the card of the game to that harvester! He filled your hand sooooo hard so you could sell those bodies on the black market xD.
Yo! Yo! Nicely done Blake! I loved the game and how all that life CGB had didn’t matter in face of the powerful mage Blake who did not use blue this time but brought it home with so many triggers! I’ll say Yo now every time to ask for the tax on smothering tide. Congratulations Blake once again!
Nothing like a opponents synergy to build up your aristocrats strategy. Although black market was the essencial piece to start for the win, Ashnod's Altar proves that free sack outlets are the bread and butter of aristocrats
49:55-52:37. Blake’s Harvester of Souls draw triggers are wrong I think. Blake ends up drawing a card for each creature that died from the Avacyn flip. However, Harvester of souls reads: “Whenever another nontoken creature dies, you may draw a card.” Blake shouldn’t have drawn a card for CGB’s bird token as well as his Harvester of souls and 2 creature tokens. Still a crazy turn thanks to Shea’s board state, but just should have been 4 less cards drawn. Also, I think Requiem Angel should have created at least one more spirit token since both Harvester and Requiem Angel are not spirits. Wasn’t sure what’s Blake’s other doodled creature token was but, if it wasn’t a spirit, then that would have been another spirit token trigger off Requiem as well. I love playing aristocrats which is the only reason I noticed it. There are always so many death triggers to keep track of and sometimes mistakes happen.
Well done blake killing cgb with that many treasures is truly impressive. You’ve built an awesome deck. Sidenote i’ve never seen a teysa karlov deck lose so that’s a good deck choice.

Taxes got you down? Just head on down to the Black Market! We've got mana, we've got pingers, we've got sac outlets, we've got lifegain - everything you need and more all without the watchful eye of the Smothering Tithe!
Taxing card draws is the way with this group. CGB definitely swerved on this one after drawing so many cards the last couple of shows. I am also impressed you guys and gal don’t try to gang up on CGB every game.

Though choice for card of the match for Blake, but I have to say that the Black Market only had that much effect because Harvester got a few cards in your hand And I believe it is always better to have more cards than mana, than the other way around
Blake was not a fan of taxes. Lmao. I was questioning getting Black Market for the new Tasha deck I'm building but now I'm pretty sure this sells it for me.

Jeska's wil could have made 7 because the fish draws before it resolves, and smothering tithe triggers off mystic remora draws (they caught on to that later though)
Sequencing on the Jeska's Will should have made 7 mana i believe. Cast and target Shea with 6 in hand, Remora trriggers and Shea draws to 7 in hand, Jeska's resolves and makes 7. I see these errors loads in local games and i probably make them myself, easy to see when watching but maybe not when you're at ghe table.
I never pay for tax cards because I bide my decks mostly around creatures then before I get too deep into my non-creatures I mercilessly evict all Enchantments exiling those tithes and remoras and studies.
In this episode of the worst possible, everyone gets slightly (and for blake, more than slightly) triggered by tax effects
I just started to watch these and I have to say, I really do enjoy them.

CGB gets a treasure off the first remora draw since it triggers on successful cast of a noncreature spell
I love your commander content!
I think Blake drew too much cards with the Harvester of Souls. He doesn't triggers himself when dying, and you can't also draw off tokens dying.

Blake great win bro. Your token looked like Wilson from Castaway. 🙃
Can’t believe how long the smothering tithe was on the field. You need more interaction for problematic permanents in my usual commander pod

Smothering tithe turning the match into a 90s rap video
"Ben, would you like to pay X for Remora/Rhystic/Tithe?"
Ben: I'm going to ignore that
Well, Blake, besides being incredibly handsome (again)... well done proving why you hate letting other people draw cards. what a turn!
why didnt blake draw for other opps creatures dying, also whhy didnt ben end turn when avacyns 2nd trigger happened
Nice job Blake for besting CGB's $2700 deck with your $275 aristocrat sacrifice!
Minute 16 cgb should create treasure because of those mystic remora triggers... it happens to mee too sometimes lol
I have a question would final fortune even work with obeka you are still ending your turn or am i wrong
Alternate title: Blake has had enough.
10:31 shea has 39 life then pops back to 40 a few seconds later
Wouldn't final fortune not work? The effect is at the end of turn, when you end your turn that's the end of turn no? then you lose
Though choice for card of the match for Blake, but I have to say that the Black Market only had that much effect because Harvester got a few cards in your hand
And I believe it is always better to have more cards than mana, than the other way around
Black Market just got a reprint. Good timing.
With Teysa out, shouldn't the cost be 6 life for the Athreos trigger?
