Nicely modded car. On my second Abarth, 595 Comp in blue / black bicolour at present. Cannot get enough of them...had and S3 an GTi but came back to the Scorpion. Truly fun cars with great tuning ability.
About to hit 170k on my 2012. Still look forward to driving it and there's just a hand full of them in the area I live (a little over 2 million people in the metro area) so it's still unique.
I had a series 4 Abarth 595 for a year or so, but kinda felt the stigma about it but still wanted an Abarth. Luckily I came across a Abarth Grande Punto local to me & I’m allot happier in it now.
I own a grey 595 Comp with the red decals and it does turn heads. Saw a guy in an Abarth last week at the petrol station and we were both just looking at each others cars. It's like being part of the #notcute club!
If only we could get these Specialty Models of the ABARTH here in the States !! I used to belong to the San Francisco Bay Area FIAT Club in the early '90s and the fond memories of having fun, non-competitive Rallies all over the beautiful Bay Area backroads in my X1/9 will last a lifetime! :)
These are cracking cars. I'm in the process of hopefully getting one, but will be going for the leather interior rather than the Sabelt seats. They do hug you very nicely, but will be a bit too much for longer journeys and those on the larger side would struggle to fit between the bolsters!
oh yh, the turning circle. It always gets me pulling up to the BK drive-in in the smallest car in existence and I have to back up to get around the 90 degree corner
@@technotim22 wow that's blinking amazing... Was looking on fiat website. Just eye waterering how much they are new. Not that people would or would not buy a new one. But from basic 145bhp at 16k rising to 26k with a few extras for the 180 version... Serious serious money but also a little gem of a car. Gonna eBay wife and kids see if I can raise some funds lol
@@technotim22 5.0 seems like bullshit or you must be doing something really wrong while measuring. The standard Abarth with 180hp needs a good 7 seconds already (real times). I have seen Abarths with 300hp+ reaching 5.0times, but not with 230hp.
@technotim22 Nah, my little brother's is running 260bhp and is nowhere near 5.0s. From a standing start, he barely edges me in my mk3 focus st with Mountune intake. Above 100mph I leave him.

I have one at 240hp and as long as you aren’t being crazy 24/7 racing it’s everywhere it’s not bad. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had with a car and I’ve owned quite a few cool ones over the years. Never in my life thought I’d own an Abarth but here I am. Crazy thing is I’ve had more compliments on the Abarth than on and BENZ or BMW I owned and the Abarth actually sounds like a rocket spooling during take off but it it’s only 240hp lol.
Their probs not doing anything. Pressure them! My new merc was in garage for 4 weeks just for ambient lighting. Ended up getting a lawyers letter write and 1k compensation and free future services. If you don’t pressure you won’t get anywhere

Probably 7.0 seconds lol. It’s not for 0-60 I OEM one of these and they are damn fun! I’ve owned a lot of bad ass cars over the years but my Abarth has been the most fun the last year.
@@RockyTerrintino faster the 595 Competizione have 180hp and do 0-100km/h on 7 sec and Abarth 695 Biposto have 190 hp and do 0-100 Km/h on 6,1 sec. So it probably do 0-100 Km/h under 6 sec
These cars are great fun. Fiat missed a trick not making them rear-engined like the original though. I realise that would have been a shedload more development money of course.
I’d like to know how much he’s spent on it haha. My 500 Abarth is always having itself repaired so spent all the money in the year on repairs not mods 😕😭
Sold mine 2 weeks after buying it soon as I realised you carnt lower the seat in them . Realy put me off how high you actually sit in them .🙈I'm Quite a fat guy tbh maybe if I was thin I may not of felt so bad 🙈🤣 but yes it had to go straight away .
You can lower the seats. There is a kit from TMC in Ireland. They go down 250mm and it‘s a totally different driving experience 👍🏼 It‘a a MUST on every 500 Abarth..
Now i've arrived at this video again. Now you need to undo... New set of wheels, OZ or Speedline. Lightweight, strong with the correct offset And the things to take off, Spacers. Dead weight and extra pressure on the wheel bearings. 3D number plate. Just silly and cheap. Wind deflectors. More cheap. Eye brows. Say no more. Brembo sticker. You already have them on the calipers. Sun strip for a subtle one. Buy a stylish pair of sunglasses. Did I hear you right ? A golf R? Jacket please. Ciao.
I just told my self about an hour ago that I'm not going to modify my Abarth, now I'm here
How’s the mods going 😅
hows the mods going?
That is literally the best looking, nicest, most desirable ( model-wise ) 500 ABARTH I have ever seen! Well-done, man! Bellisima ! ♥
This makes me want to do very very expensive things to my Abarth
Looks epic and now i can say this deserves the title of baby ferrari truly gorgeous
Tastefully done car, nice inspiration 👌
nice to see a video on this beast, cracking motor...be interesting to see the difference in power delivery to my 1446

Such a weapon of a car.
There's many better cars to use as a weapon, these take mad damage after hitting just a few pedestrians.
Such a weapon of a car. Great Vid.
Not really a fan of the Abarth but this one is beautiful👌🏽
