- The Abarth 595 Competizione is a totally 'in your face' Fiat 500 on steroids. Tested here in luminous yellow with black stripes with collagen plumped bumpers, you would think that was enough to make the Abarth 595 Competizione stand out in a crowd, well you'd be wrong, its not just the looks, its the noise from the quad exhausts that really gets peoples attention.
The new, facelifted 595 Abarth Competizione has been updated with the current Fiat 500’s coloured centre rear lights and some new, more sculpted bumpers, however, it’s in the finer details where the Competizione discovers its true identity. The 595 Copetizione comes with an abundance of racing bits, like the Sabelt bucket seats, Brembo brakes and low profile matt black sports rims. There are the famous scorpion badges everywhere, including Abarth iwritten large in the lower front grill.
This Abarth 595 Competizione is equipped with a mechanical, limited-slip differential which it has inherited from the 695 Biposto and you also get Koni FSD dampers, four piston Brembo brakes and larger vented discs. The 595 has a Garrett turbocharged, 1.4-litre, four cylinder engine which puts out 180bhp giving a 0-62mph time of just 6.7sec and a top end of 140mph. You can have the 595 Competizione fitted with a Robotised sequential, automatically operated or a five speed manual gearbox. From £21,000 the Abarth 595 Competizione is right in the firing line of some exceptionally talented hot hatches, however, the charm and scallywag character of this little Italian Pocket Rocket will definitely win over the purists amongst you.

loved that comment "it's like a litter of puppies, you won't come home without one". I test drove one at 10am and placed an order for a new one by 11:30, adrenaline green, December 2021, excited is an understatement.
Your enthusiasm is infectious... You totally GOT the Abarth 595, they`re not perfect but unlike many who have tested these you mentioned its shortcomings and then focused on what it does brilliantly, looking forward to your 595 Scorpioneoro review because i have one that i personally love..
Thank you so much for your kind comment really appreciated. I can’t wait to get the next 595
My first Abarth was a 595 Comp. Took it on a roadtrip from Sweden to the autobahn, alps, Monaco etc. Now I have a 695 Anniversario. Love it! 😎😎🤟🏻🤟🏻
Just bought a standard 595 (145bhp) stuck a bombardone exhaust on it (£300) and it flies and sounds better than this one. Bluespark it (£175) and it’ll go to 175bhp sooooo much fun!
Poundland tuning 🤣🤣🤣
Mate, what a great review.
Brilliant, fun review. Loved it
Enjoyed your review, out of all the ones I have watched.
Nice review mate, it pushes me to buy one!
Just bought a Turismo .. looking forward to it!!! Keep up the good work! 🤙
Excellent review !!!!
My son is looking at these for his 2nd car and your video is the best review I’ve seen. Thanks. It’s nice to see a grown up be excited and not comparing this car with all their other Porsche and Ferrari reviews for comfort or acceleration 👍👏
Great review, I love your enthusiasm for this car
Thanks for the comment, appreciated
I got the same with the MTA gearbox and its a blast to drive. I find myself driving it everywhere and anywhere I can!
I've had 4 of the standard 595s and I love them!
Other cars are "more capable", they're all boring!
Cannot be beaten for smiles per mile or £
As AJ says, try and you will buy!
Best car review I have seen
Love this car. I never seen it with own eyes, only on RUclips, but i RALLY want one. But the are so expensive and rare in my country, but kind a my dream car. I just want that same model but with carbon race seat's, PS good video. Love from Denmark ❤
Really good review, thanks 😊
Many thanks for your kind comment always appreciated

Thanks so much for the comment really appreciated
What a car and the sound . 😂😂😂
So much fun
They’ve stopped selling the standard 595 in Australia. I’ll have to keep my 2017 forever!
only interviewer that does not slate the abarth gd man am sure the steering wheel pulls out as well as up down the 145 hp does not have the garret turbo it has the ihi turbo i have the moderna yellow comp great car
Thanks for the comment always appreciated
The site didn't work from me. Unfortunately
I'm Sold!
garrot turbos not fitted to them all 145 has the ihi turbo
Great info thanks for the comment
I drove the abarth 500 and 505 for 8,5 years overall and they had continously quality and power issues. 😞
Tell me you know nothing about Abarths without telling me you know nothing. They don’t all come with the Garret turbo’s, the base model certainly doesn’t, the base models have the IHI turbos, the comp and turismo have the Garret turbos, hence the bigger horse power.
I’m telling you right now, this car channel thing isn’t gonna work out for you old man.
Where’s your channel? No need for the rude comments it’s a decent review
Surprisingly slow for such a light car.
Great review!
Thanks for the comment, appreciated
