Chelsea irritates me, it's such a plastic club and Man City is even worse.
But in terms of playmaking, Zola was better playmaker than Baggio, Zola was similar to Maradona in that terms.. Baggio develop his playmaking role at the end of his career, when his speed and acceleration rapidly down due to age & many injuries he had received before.. The downfall has been insane. Never thought Id see Italy this low. The same goes for basically all the historical giants when you compare them to past national teams. Football has been going down hard since 2010s. 🤷♂️
Baggio and Zola, are the best italians players, great great players, Del Piero was good but not that good, Zola game similar to Maradona, Baggio was different
most definitely......Zola never did it for Italy (in fact, he lasted a whole 9 minutes in the world cup, 1994, before getting sent off, never to return)...I liked Zola, but he was no Baggio
Documentati. Per il resto dimmi dove era superiore. Nei dribbling no, di testa no, di tacco no, in velocità no, negli assist no. Due + due fa quattro
Dzola is uniq. Italian Messi or Messi is Argentinian Dzola. Both equal strong foots. Amazing technique of shooting. Agility, speed, inteeligent, temper. He had everything.
Zola was not the Italian Maradona or the next Zico, he was Gianfranco Zola He was spetacular in his own ways and is fairly respected in the football community You take away from the individual greatness of a player when you do a comparison like that

Il mio grande compaesano ☺☺
Zola, Baggio, Del Piero, Totti, Chiesa, Vieri, Cannavaro, Maldini, Pirlo, Buffon, De Rossi.... best players ever and Legends. Today one of this Legends would be cost 150mln with 30 years. And now Italy is dead. When Verratti scores against Liechtenstein, they say he is a a worldclass player 🙈.
Sorry for my english.
Forza Italia 🇮🇹 per sempre
Zola was incredible because he was so small despite his size which was 5ft6in he made up for it with skill he had the flair trait
Maradona loved Zola when they played toghether. Diego said that when he would have gone zola would have been a good heir
Team mate of Maradona...he is great
my idol , thanks God he come to chelsea , my fave team
Zola was a huge player, Italian national put him apart, it was a shame, that's why managers should eat some court
Italy don't produce these players anymore
Chiesa, Cutrone, Barella, Zaniolo, Kean, Bernardeschi, Pinamonti
@@jastastics6446 Zola was different level, esp when talking technique
seb pz yeah but all of the players I named are around 20 years old so they got time. Cutrone is the youngest Italian player to have scored 10 goals in European competitions
@@jastastics6446 don't wanna sound harsh but putting Zola and cutrone in the same breath is an insult lol
Barella Zaniolo verratti chiesa inisgne have potential ..i think the lowest.point was 4/5 years ago When Montolivo and Balotelli were the stars now im confident
Zola had the speed of Maradona and the vision and touch of el Pibe Valderrama with goal making ability of messi
In Italy he was called MaraZola. He played a couple of seasons with Maradona in Napoli. Evidently he learnt a lot from big Diego.

Wow, I remember Italy having so many good players in 90s and 2000s besides the all time greats like Del Piero, Totti, Baggio etc. Zola was one of them and now Italy dont have anyone. Guys like Montella, Miccoli, Cassano, Di Natale, Chiesa and of course Zola would be the absolute super stars for Italy today, but back then they were all playing second fiddle, and rightfully so. The downfall has been insane. Never thought Id see Italy this low. The same goes for basically all the historical giants when you compare them to past national teams. Football has been going down hard since 2010s. 🤷♂️
Better than Del Piero, But not Baggio, Baggio is the true Italian Maradona.
Delpiero was much better than Zola
Baggio and Zola, are the best italians players, great great players, Del Piero was good but not that good, Zola game similar to Maradona, Baggio was different
Ye Winn ....NO
I'd rank Del Piero and Zola on the same lvl. Zola wasnt better.
Milan fan here but Del Piero was better imo
Zola used to be what Bruno Fernandes is today. A massively underrated playmaker who doesnt get the credit he deserves
Lol bruno fernandes is nowhere near zola in terms of technical ability and flair, bruno is a average player at best.
U can’t be serious. Bruno is absolutely nowhere near Zola’s level.
I will go for Roberto Baggio as Italian maradona..
most definitely......Zola never did it for Italy (in fact, he lasted a whole 9 minutes in the world cup, 1994, before getting sent off, never to return)...I liked Zola, but he was no Baggio
Roberto Baggio is Roberto Baggio.. there is no other Baggio. Different class.
Agree
@@NaturaBreeze I think it is possible to appreciate both, two players were phenomenal!
Not Italian Maradona, Maradona is Maradona, Roberto Baggio is Roberto Baggio, they were unique players both amazing
I love Zola❤️❤️❤️
Genio

Good Boy Kind Person So Humble Amazing Player
Documentati. Per il resto dimmi dove era superiore. Nei dribbling no, di testa no, di tacco no, in velocità no, negli assist no. Due + due fa quattro
@@verde9426 ruclips.net/video/SnxkOfr3eVI/видео.html
can imagine the value of a player like this today!
Another great number 10 from Italy...a long line of greats!! Gianni Rivera, Roby Baggio, Alex Del Piero, Francesco Totti...and now...total darkness😖
Joe Garagozzo no my friend there’s a kid called Zaniolo he plays for Roma check him out only 20 but fans already love him check him out
Sensi , Pellegrini, Chiesa...
Zaniolo
@@The666Steppenwolf sensi? Lol

Zola was not the Italian Maradona or the next Zico, he was Gianfranco Zola
He was spetacular in his own ways and is fairly respected in the football community
You take away from the individual greatness of a player when you do a comparison like that
Maldini, bergomi, baresi, costacurta, donadoni e tantissimi altri

So many great bits of skill... what a legend. Incredible power in his shooting, too. I especially liked him tying Carragher in knots at 3.52... even managed to evade the inevitable mouthful of greb he probably had fired at him by the vile man.
