Penalties aren't severe enough. If the take a finger everytime u get busted stealing...and no disability bcuz of that. It might help. I'm sure there are people...who won't work...that would give up their fingers to go on disability. I think there's some now who would rather go to Prison than try to work for a living.

I had ordered a desk to make into a makeup desk/vanity and when the day it was supposed to be delivered had came, my Rottweiler was barking like a lunatic which she normally never does and when I opened my front door I saw two older women trying to take it with their truck parked right across my house, I told they had the chance to leave my package alone and leave, or authorities will be called, they tried saying it was their package and was wrongfully delivered to my house but I told that the name in the package was not them and was me and to either leave or wait for authorities and that they were on camera (we have cameras set up around my home)

We had a neighbor knocking on doors at 12am a couple of nights ago. One neighbor ran to a house to check on the neighbor who was scared because her husband wasn’t home. When he got there a house two doors down a man was getting in his van. We called the police but they couldn’t do anything. I checked my camera and couldn’t see their front door because their porch light was off. The ONLY way he could’ve avoided all cameras was going behind the homes. We figured out it was the man with the van because he drove around from 1:17am-3:58am! He stopped right before my husband got up for work. The day after that 5 neighbors got cameras and he drove by while everybody was putting up cameras lol 😂. He didn’t look at NOBODY lol 😂! We all stopped working and looked at him lol 😂. The men walked to the edge of the driveway looking at him lol 😂. No problems since then but we on guard from now on.

@@Shemeher014 In Houston about 4 years ago, a woman (I think she was middle aged or older) had just withdrawn $75k in cash for a business transaction and she was followed all the way to her business by 3 men after the bank teller who helped her told them how much money she had. This poor lady held onto her purse so hard and refused to let go while 2 of the men savagely beat, punch, kicked and dragged her around for several minutes. The only reason she had to eventually let go was because the driver ran over her while she was on the ground... twice. He reversed into her before driving forward and speeding off. It's so hard to watch, I couldn't even finish the full clip. You can find the video on RUclips if you want to watch it.. But that one just totally broke my heart. She was left in critical condition afterwards but managed to make a full recovery and all 4 suspects were arrested, so there's somewhat of a happy ending. Both situations are heartbreaking and sad.

In 1987 I was an EMT paramedic working in ManHattan beach. It's where the hardest most tragic call I was ever on took place. My partner and I were the first on scene where a housewife answered her door in the early afternoon to a knock at the entry door. With her 3 kids all behind her, she opened the door and immediately upon opening the door a young homeless woman stuck a large knife straight into her heart, for no apparent reason. When my partner and I got there she was still alive and talking, but within just a few minutes died right there literally in our arms in front of her children. We rushed her to the ER at South Bay but there was nothing they could do. It was one of the sadist and tragic things I've ever witnessed and actually was the begging of the end of my paramedic career.

I'm so happy my sons MADE me get a gun and took me to the shooting range to teach me how to use it. First time ever shooting a gun, I shot at a 20 foot range and shot head and center mass shots!!! My sons and a lady who worked there couldn't believe it!!! I told them I always wanted to be one of Charlie's Angels!!! I took my projection sheet home and hung it in the window they kept trying to break in in the back of the house. Let's just say I didn't have a break-in issue again! 😁

Everyone better start repenting and getting themselves right with the Lord now because if you can look around and not see every single thing in the Bible coming into fruition, you are what the Bible calls a fool. We have those options available in the U.S. too for all of the major delivery services. You can have your packages automatically re-routed to a pickup spot, left with a neighbor or they can come back another day. It seems like most of the packages that get stolen are Amazon packages, and theres an Amazon locker literally around every corner and in most of the convenience stores (in major cities) out here. Idk why more people aren't taking advantage of them. Makes me wonder if they're just too lazy to look into how to safeguard their packages, or if they just aren't aware of these free alternative delivery methods. Also, no one is advertising their packages or asking to have their things stolen. If it's visible from the street, then obviously anyone can walk up and steal it. It really could just be that there are more porch pirates in the U.S. than there are in the U.K.

I strongly recommend if you don’t have one already, get a metal security door. Robbers can’t push or pry the door open because they don’t open to the inside. If you can, please also get these metal bars for the back windows as well. It’s a scary world out there. God be with you all.

Ok after watching this entire video, it's clear someone doesn't know the meaning of porch pirate. The term porch pirate devalues those felonies like armed robbery and over values things like trespass or nuisance cases. If someone breaks into my home with a gun, I would be pissed if the judge called them a porch pirate. They went past my freaking porch and tried to take my life, not some dang package. Smh

I agree. He was there for awhile, knocking and ringing the doorbell. Then he sat for a few to see if someone would come to the door and then he rang the door bell and knocked again. He did peer in a window but that’s easy to dismiss bc it looks as though he really thought he knew the person(s) who lived there.
