Had the privilege of seeing Emily Wolfe live, at one of the last shows before the tour stopped, at Songbirds in Chattanooga, TN. First live show I'd ever bought a ticket for and been to by myself, and it was on a whim (I'd only heard one song of hers, on RUclips, before then). Killer live performance, and great stage presence. Bought a CD from her and it hasn't left my car's CD player since. I hope she keeps on gaining attention.
One of my favorite Captain Meets.. videos. I love Emily Wolfe. Picked up her signature Sheraton Stealth not too long ago and cannot put it down. It’s an incredible instrument.
My band was on the same bill as Emily Wolfe for a summer festival in Texas but it was unfortunately postponed. Was really looking forward to seeing her set. She's got some killer songs.
Nice interview. I got my Emily Wolfe Sheraton here in Canada about 3-4 weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect from an overseas 335, but it is an amazingly fantastic guitar! Looks great, plays great, sounds amazing. Cheers.
The mythical algorithm started pushing her on me left and right a few weeks back and I am all for it. Was just thinking the other day after seeing some rig rundown that she'd be good for a Captain Meets, and here we are. Ace.
The deal-breaker with Sheratons for me always was the lack of inlays and side dot fret markers past the 15th fret so it's good to see this on this model. When you shoot to the top of the neck you don't want to get lost so it always baffled me why they weren't present. A bit odd though that these 17th, 19th and 21st inlays lack the lightning bolt adornment that the others possess (at least that's the way it is on the Epiphone product page). I think I'd rather have that second tone knob but that's a totally possible mod.
The lead guitarist/lead vocalist has a power all its own with 2 expressive instruments available simultaneously to take a listener on a journey whereas a virtuoso guitarist will have to exert twice the technique to grab a listener. IMO its why while Jimmy used more chords and intricate riffs w the rock solid Jones Bonham foundation Jimi will always be remembered as the bigger genre altering rock star.
You don't find your tone by sampling od pedals. You find it by plugging into something like a peavey bandit and play it for months til you find your clean tone then turn up the gain gradually until you have the least amount that you still feel creative when soloing. If you need more than a boss super od which is very transparent in regards to tone coloration
My buddy and I just played after years off playing only solo. He went straight for the red stripe Bandit and SOD out of all the tube amps in the house. The Bandit is a great amp. It’s indestructible has smoking tones and is super loud. IMHO
Don't tell anybody else, but they sometimes have recorded it previously. Even worse, they can plan in advance when a youtube video is published. I guess today Lee is spending the afternoon in his indoor swimming pool all day, recovering from the drinks he had to celebrate the England win in the EC.
Trey, he’s actually very good at interviews. I’m not sure if you have watched his others on this channel, but some where better than most “professional” ones that I have ever seen. I admit he was searching for words on this one, but check out his interview with Albert Lee. If you don’t at least get tears in your eyes, then you are beyond help : )

I miss songbirds so much. I’m glad they’re bringing a little of it back.

Emily Wolfe is a great artist, and her signature is awesome. Cheers Captain

I’ve got no clue who she is, but I saw her epiphone signature and man, If it isn’t beautiful.
She absolutely rocks too.
I was introduced to her the same way saw the guitar then looked her up and now I’m a fan of her and her music.
She doesn't know who you are either

Her tones at the end are phenomenal 👌
Holy Geezy! Great lady and gear. I'd love to see an in person interview with the incomparable Lee. Her career will be special, certainly.
THANKS!!
This is the second time I've heard about her in the last two days so, I have to check out her music now. I'd never heard of her until yesterday.

Phillip McKnight talked about her yesterday in the podcast and now here we are. What a coincidence
After listening to her new album I am convinced her song needs to be in racing and sports games
Thank you for having Emily, Captain!
That Sheraton looks mint🎸
I think this video has made my mind up. I was looking at either a sheraton II pro or this one. Probably buy it from Andertons as well
Great video Lee . Emily Wolf is fantastic, please have her on the show when possible.
already got my emily wolfe epi its a great lil guitar and miss wolfe is also great artist
Any idea captain when these Sheraton’s hit your store? 👍
It's just "Sheratons."
I almost bought that guitar recently. I am so mad I didn’t. It was fantastic.

Ah, Josh White's blues standard "One Puzzle Piece."
Captain had to earn his stripes in this interview.. Hard going from where I was watching…👍🇦🇺
It's almost as it he's been told...😹

I don't care how they find their tone as long as I like the music that goes with it.
Fist comment!
