- It's the first Betfred Super League Tacklebags fixture, Dennis travels through the snow for a match between Rovers and the Wire. After a quick whistle stop tour of Kingston upon Hull , it's off to a podcast meeting with Johno from the RED ROBIN pod, in the George Hotel, famous for its peep hole. After mulling over the new IMG / Tacklebags criteria, Johno provides a city tour with no access and promises to take Dennis out for a Patty. Dennis takes refuge in the van only to realise that the onboard computer has nothing to offer in terms of conversation, heating and companionship. A long walk to the ground brings joy of the match and the promise of food, although the pizza was lacklustre, the atmosphere was bobbin' along nicely. Hull KR lose 10-18 to Warrington Wolves and a freezing Dennis quickly realises that there is a long walk back to the van after the local Taxi's have gone AWOL. With Throbbin' feet, Dennis immediately falls into a dream sequence that calls into question his sanity! Enjoy.

Loved it! Something different for rugby league 👍
Thanks for watching, spread the word 👍
Chose the HKR away game last season unfortunately. Travelling there it had a definite "cul-de-sac" feel. Stayed the night in the city centre and found the locals very friendly. Got the bus out to the stadium and found it to be a long way out. Picked up many times on the east v west issue and also the distinctive accent. Since my last visit, the shopping core seems to have moved from Princes Quay, which was semi deserted to St Stephens. Great city and people. The match has been erased from my memory.
Sounds like you could be the next tour guide in Hull 😅👍
Enjoyed the Vlog. Hopefully you will get more co-operation from clubs re access. Interesting to hear Johnny from Rovers too. As regards game promotion credit to Derek Beaumont of Leigh for a one man promotion job. There were 12,000 at HJ last night. An open game. Good luck. 🎉
Thanks for watching, Johno was a star . Looking forward to the Leigh match, they’re doing a great job .👍
Johnny!!!! 🤣
Another good vlog.
👍
Great video. Not a Rugby League fan, but really well shot and presented. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, I’m working towards a BAFTA for next year 😂👍
Love this concept and great video mate. HAL wanting to go dogging was hilarious! New subscriber here and I’ll be watching the others on your channel and looking forward to the next ones.
Glad you’re enjoying, I’m sure HAL will take over at some point , TACKLEHAL😬, who knows 😁
0:41 - Like a true Wire fan you misspelled the name of your own show on the shark. Come on Wakey!!!! Great show. I love these mate. The HKR logo now is BRUTAL. However, I really like what HKR are doing. Craven Park looks amazing.
Improvised snow art is avant- garde, a degree of melt can be confusing, 😬👍
@@tacklebags I’m loving your vids. I’m a part of Pacific Coast Rugby League. We have 4 teams in California and 4 in Utah. I do the media and game announcing. We’re expanding League over here. One day I hope you can come over here with the Mrs. enjoy some sunshine and the beach and have a pint and watch us.

Some of these Friday night games that fans have to travel from end of the country to the other aren't even on sky so what's the thinking behind it doesn't make sense to me
Indeed, it will never develop a fan base beyond the northern border unless it changes or pay tv takes off👍
