Back to the Future - Leeds v Warrington - Rugby League Vlog
A trip back in time to Leeds, as Dennis revisits his youth and takes a trip for Warrington's visit to Headingley. If that wasn't enough get prepared for a UFO visit during the match before its off back home to visit Nineties Dennis for the scoring. If you can follow what's going on from that description, then this video is for you.....Have a good un' 😎

Is this a Crisis ? - Wakefield v Warrington - Tacklebags Rugby League Vlog
Просмотров 60911 месяцев назад

Not to be discouraged, a quick visit to the National Coal mining...
The Narrowboat to Wigan Pier -Rugby League Vlog -Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves

Not quite a George Orwell novel as the title suggests but when you're using a cAnalogy, anything goes. This trip provides a leisurely cruise down the canal on a barge, sorry narrowboat! Mrs Waywell takes the helm just as the passengers demand life jackets, whilst Dennis is busy checking the dimensions of the deck. On to Wigan, with the roller rink out of action it's over to the Museum of Wigan ...

The HOTTIES ! - St Helens v Warrington Rugby League Vlog
Просмотров 732Год назад
Has some powerful AI intelligence infiltrated the Tacklebags journey to St Helens? This episode is littered with problems; getting lost, losing equipment and generally everything being shut. . See Dennis flit from one problem to the next whilst under the constant and watchful eye of the towns surveillance system. Following the Dream to the Hotties, the remainder of the tour ends with a Van cook...
Red Red Wine - Catalans Dragons v Warrington Wolves, Rugby League Vlog
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.Год назад
It's the big one, a 1500 mile round trip to Perpignan. Dennis takes Mrs Waywell on holiday for some wine tasting, well at least that's what he sold the ideas as. Leisurely driving through France, HAL takes the wine order and stocks the camper van to the limit and after experiencing the quiet and tranquil locations of Loire & Bordeaux the Tacklebags team eventually arrive in Perpignan, narrowly ...

Welcome, to the first TACKLEBAGS Rugby League vlog, well sort of!! The first episode in the series sees Dennis packing down for a Rugby Union match. TACKLEBAGS - A Rugby League Vlog with a campervan?
Просмотров 561Год назад
Welcome! A Rugby League Vlog, yes that's right - The What would Brian Bevan say? podcast, venture into the world of RUclips, with a vlog about Rugby League and Campervans????. An introduction to the new Tacklebags concept sees Dennis try to revitalise the Rugby League profile. This new series will look at the game and what it takes to be a dedicated fan. I'm waffling, just watch the video!
Excellent!
There really is no contest. Rugby League every time.
68 years and counting oh wanky wanky wanky wanky wanky wanky Warrington
Excellent video. Thank you. Aussie NRL Newcastle Knights fan here.
Thanks for watching Mr Salt, do you think I could get sponsorship for an NRL tacklebags trip, my spring has broken on the campervan 😬
To much stoppage in Union should play with out stoppage too many people taking breathers not as fit as the League guys .
I agree, although I appreciate they can stop and chat about the Henley regatta and their chino trousers 😎👍
Excellent vlog, you can't finish now as you haven't done Salford, Hull FC and Huddersfield. Plus whoever gets promoted next season.
I knew would catch up and call me out 😑, unfortunately due to technicality of being in Europe for 3 weeks , I’m unable to fulfil my obligations in 2023 but will of course finish it off next year. The TACKLEBAGS franchise is up for sale and if you wish take it on yourself , I’m sure we could come to a financial arrangement in addition to a Chicken Balti Pie , to clinch the deal😃
I hope that was a chicken balti pie, good vlog again
Thanks Gazza 😘
I love watching these videos, you need to carry on
Thanks Brian, I’m glad you’re enjoying the journey 🤩👍
With our current form this is the only highlight we have to look forward to. There must be a next time 😂
Yes, I feel it’s providing a community service for fans of Warrington, I’ll consider an emergency Tacklebags Vlog should we finish outside the top 10 😘
Top work as ever Dennis 🎉
Great work as ever Dennis 👏👏
Cheers, thanks for watching 👍
I had no idea Wakefield was such a cultural goldmine! I’m going to make the trip when the World Champions visit on 3rd September. It could be the last time I see the place!
Have a good one, Yorkshire sculpture park is also 15 mins away 👍
Good on Richard from fourty/20 for showing you round
He’s a top bloke😍👍
Dennis what do you think of sammy Burgess m8 just been announced
Jury’s out, the knee jerk reaction to offer 2 year contract is like throwing all your chips on the table to win a trophy. I doubt it will address some of the more fundamental cultural issues. Buckle up for a high octane ride! 😁
No wonder Daryl left if his company car was Delboy’s 3-wheeler 😉
😂I knew I should’ve chased it down to see if it was Daryl at the wheel, ‘this time next year we’ll be super league champions’ 😬
Has anyone seen Dennis and Tony Smith in the same room? 🤔 great video and really interesting seeing these towns and cities for more than just a stadium and 80 minutes. Cheers
Thank you, it’s amazing what you can find in a place that seems it has nothing else to offer 😎👍
To answer your question "Is this a crisis", yes definitely. I'm not carried away with the rumous for the new coach, and some of the players need dropping and replaced with reserves. Very frustrating to have a full salary cap, big money backers, a great side on paper who play like they haven't seen each other since the previous game. Very worrying, we'll be lucky to get another 2 points for the rest of the season.
I totally agree, I’d love a tv network to make a fly on that wall documentary on the club, I think we’d all be more entertained by the off field performance, although not for the right reasons😁
You've seen more of Wakefield then I did in my two visits. And that amazonian god must be new, because I didn't see two years ago and I wasn't drunken for once. And even if the RSW talks about a teabar, I didn't see any tea when I was there for a forty20 live, but I was drunken then.
You sound more and more like Steve Price and his famous quote speaking to the press following a loss ‘I didn’t see it coming’ 😁, thanks for watching 👍
Trencher mill is now a mixed use of offices ( BT-EE-Canal Trust/British Waterways) and appartments. The night club on the pier Was demolished in about 2011 I think. Wire just cant put it together like they did early season. Ticket price is always an issue with warriors. South stand is cheaper but still £25 for adults or £30 elsewhere in the stadium. It is a pretty basic bowl type multi use ground so is lacking in places.
I like Wigan, it’s much better than I remembered when I was a teenager. Ironically, I think the Warrington performances belong in Trencherfield Mill museum😬, thanks for watching 👍
Interesting vlog
Indeed, the stadium pie revelation is an eye opener 😁
No free neck massages in Wakefield I'm afraid.
I’m pleased you’ve researched the topic before my arrival, I’ll be in touch 😉👍
Just found these videos and they are great. Reminds me a bit of the Soccer AM away days sketch they used to do. I live on the South Coast and would like to go watch a Super League game in person one day. Keep up the good work 🙂
Thank you for watching, you know Cornwall RLFC is a great day out if that’s a bit easier to get to. 👍😎
No atmosphere? We sing 60 mins/80 at least
Yes, but was it in tune 😬 Leigh was still one of the best days out 👍
Some very nice vicarious experiences. 😆
Indeed!😎 mostly experimental 😁
Missed HAL’s input this week. Did he get left behind in the computer museum or did he get lucky?
I think HAL has deposited his virus on the BBC computer 😬
If you are going to do a resume please do it with an independent bias and not from a one eyed Warrington perspective. NO atmosphere? and what there was was because of the Warrington fans utter Bovine Droppings, seems to me that you were upset because Warrington were completely outplayed it wasn't that they were bad they were just monstered down the middle by a much better more enthusiastic pack this is Warringtons frailty Saints did it, Wigan did it, Leigh have done it, and I am writing this after Magic in which Hull have done it, any team that is capable of not lying down and letting Wire run over them will beat this Wire team.
Good point, on reflection I said the same thing on the podcast, Wire were totally outplayed. Ultimately, I accept the bias (Wire fan), I record it immediately after the match as to how we felt at the time and what we experienced, where we were seated. BTW I do have 2 eyes although my eyesight is quite poor😬. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊👍
I was in the North Stand, trust me it was electric, Warrington barely sang anything. Plenty of songs and chants going on. I agree that the food and drinks etc could be better. I'd rather have a pasty than a pie! As for the fireworks, Derek Beaumont is treating every game like a festival with fireworks and bands on display - regardless of opposition. Leigh are on fire right now and going beyond peoples expectations, a playoff place would be amazing after coming up from the Championship.
Yes, that’s fair, Leigh is still one of the best games to go and watch a match, probably being over critical but feel that the club are open to keep improving. On the field , they’ve surprised everyone! I went as far to say on the podcast that Wire were outplayed, they are big and a well drilled outfit. Thanks for watching and your comments 😊👍
Game was great, you support Wire and they were crap on the night. Leopards Den is a different pub btw, The Centurion is literally 100 yards up the road still. Enjoyed the video though, good watch 👍
You’re not wrong about Warrington being crap. I’m clearly confused about the pub situation, I blame Mrs Waywell 😬👍
Pennington Flesh is what the dog-walkers see in the car park after dark
😂 yes I’ve heard , with the cctv there, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an Only Fans Flesh account 👀👍
My son did a presentation on Rugby League at his school. Arcadia HS in Arcadia, CA. He wore Matty Ashton’s game worn jersey to school. It was washed of course. Happy he could share the love of the beautiful game yet gutted he wasn’t doing it in a Wakey kit. Up the Trin!
Your son is doing an excellent service over there 👏, I can only imagine the perplexed audience trying to understand what a scrum is😂👍
Oh last point Dennis apparently warrington can't play to big games on the bounce using Catalan away as an excuse has no one told the club that to win the grand final takes winning big games week after week
Yes, yes Kevin, we know only too well, surely it’s ‘our year’ though 😬👍
Good to know about the parking so close to the stadium Dennis and that retro computer museum looked good too m8 👍
Yes a very cool place, something for everyone there 🤓👍
Thought then and were great despite the name 😂
Wishing (way) Well
Oh I like it 😅
Really like how spicy she got walking out of the grounds. Very spirited. The bombs that came out of her mouth were hilarious. She’s awesome.
Love the fact that Mrs W was more interested in the price-less menu than your story. Hope you didn’t catch the COVID-ZX81 strain like I did. That museum looks ace 👍
She always ignores me, it’s great for slipping in any confessions in that hypnotic moment 😁👍
Bj's bingo 😅
Mill just the same as this in Oldham went to AL'S gym there in the 80s 4th floor well, that's me legs done !
I love these old buildings, clearly they should’ve put the Gym on the 4th floor😁👍
Denis come on Fiddler's ferry is in Warrington
It may be on the boundary 😬
👍
Well that was Shit…….Helen’s for you!
Maybe its a modern stadium thing, but no mixing with away fans from the south stand at the HJ and the stewards are grumpy @rseholes too, and that is from a wire fan point of view.
That’s quite disappointing, So much better when fans have a chat. Catalans was great in that way 👍
Sunny day at least. It's a pity you can't link up with home supporters to show some hospitality. Hopefully if you go to Leigh, you can contact Derek Beaumont first! It's not called #ShitHelens for nothing. 😂 Better luck next time. Cheers 🎉
Thanks , I’m hoping for a better trip to Leigh 👍😃
Didn't realise you were at Carr Mill, you could have called for a brew. Great video
Thanks Gareth, That would’ve been nice, I could of scored sustenance higher, although I note you didn’t offer lunch 😬😁
@@tacklebags next time when we play Wigan
Why do you think its called shit Helens 😅
Yes, I wasn’t sure if RUclips would allow it in the title 😅
St.Helens 80 - Wanky Wire 0
Awesome vid. My only disagreement is Fan engagement with 1 of 5. Screw that. Give it a 0.
Narrowly escaped a zero 😬 , I’m never going back, so they get a point for making it so obvious that I wasn’t welcome 🤗
Brilliant episode although not sure I will sleep tonight due to the Brucie Steward making me feel like having a bad pill at an illegal rave in a field. “Didn’t he do well!”
Nice to see you, see you nice 👍
@@tacklebags I reckon HAL could have dealt with Brucie Steward with his cutting comments. Perhaps bring him into the ground for the next TB.
Not as many steps as the bottles of wine you and Mrs W necked.
That might be why we lost count 😬
C'est Magnifique Dennis!
Merci monsieur 🙏
I'm really liking these vlogs - very natural from a proper supporters point of view. Had some good times with the Cas fans over the years up there, they are a fine lot. Great stuff.
It’s been 20 years since going to the away matches, Cas still feels the same 👍
178 steps - Smashing vid again - captures nicely the "Brit Abroad" synndrome :)
Yes, a unique atmosphere for lunch 😬
Commentaire plein d'esprit
Merci 😁
Steps 1,250. Regarding the lamp shade I’ll send you money to keep that shite in the UK. Great video. One day I’ll get there. Can’t wait for vid after todays game. Can’t believe Wire won this. Big one.
How about the cheap plastic cup 😬😎
