    Used the Xpro1 since it’s in introduction, came with a 18mm f2 and a35mm f1.4. The lenses now live with my Xpro2 along with some current glass but I still have a soft spot for the Xpro1 and it sees occasional duty but mostly as a digital pinhole camera. Thanks for the walk down memory lane, the camera has been on many motorcycle adventures and its held up brilliantly. Hopefully Fuji will come out with a Xpro4, but if they don’t, I’m ok with that as these are more than enough for me.

      thats awesome man , the x pro would be a perfect camera for motorcycle adventures, small and compact. I've talked to a lot of X-pro1 owners and we all seem to have a soft spot for the X-pro1 even after getting the 2 or 3. I'm hoping for the X-pro4 too, but same as you, totally happy with the older cameras. Thanks for watching!

      100% agree! I owned an X100 years ago when I first started learning about photography and I adored that camera. I added an XE1 to complement it, which I shot exclusively with adapted vintage lenses and that really made me fall in love with Fuji. Both of those sensors have. certain magic. I ended up selling the X00 to upgrade to the X100T and even though it was a better camera in just about every way, it had lost the magic for me with the updated sensor and I ended up selling it.
      I sold the XE1 when I upgraded to a Sony A7 and after a few years with that I yearned for a Fuji again, as it just didn't have the same mojo. The XT-3 had gotten rave reviews and so I sold the Sony and invested in one.......and I have never really bonded with it. It's a capable camera but the images are just a bit sterile to me. I bought a used X100 again and immediately remembered why I loved it so much originally......it is such a special little camera!
      So here I am today....watching videos of the X-Pro1 and contemplating selling my XT-3 to buy one so that I can reclaim some more of that old Fuji magic....

    Hey man, out of every X Pro 1 Video I’ve viewed (a lot!) your photos stand out like drastically, I love love love the look and summer vibes!! Were the example photos sooc or edited raws? And if so how did you edit them and did you always use the pro mist filter? Big up from me, keep it coming!! 👏🏻
    (And how would you compare it to the XE1 if you also had the opportunity to shoot it?)

    • @alexbemanian
      @alexbemanian  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey man I really appreciate the kind words , thank you! There were some sooc but most were edited raws. I generally start with the astia color profile in Lightroom and edit from there, at least for these photos. I try to use a preset I created for all the photos so they have a similar vibe. Yes the filter has always stayed on my lens, it’s a 1/8th. I’ve always wanted to pick up an xe camera but I haven’t been able to, my understanding is you can get the exact same image quality with the xe1 as the x pro1 since it’s the same sensor. I think the main difference is just the body style and EVF, the x pro has an optical viewfinder as well which is nice to use that the xe does not have. Hope this helps

      @roninthegoat2810 5 месяцев назад

      @@alexbemanian thank you for your detailed answer. and yes after all the research I done I came to the same conclusion except one point : some resources say that the xpro1 doesn't have a low pass filter which improves the amount of detail that can be produced by the camera. But other resources say XE1 AND XPro1 both don't have the filter. I'm pretty sure the XM1 has a bit different Image quality because it has a different processor than the other two, but XE1 and Xpro1 should be the same except for this one thing but I really can't be sure if it's just the Xpro1 without the filter or the XE1 too. Mabe you got some information about that?

    Back in 2020 I wanted a compact aps-c camera so I was stuck between the X100S and Ricoh GRII I'm pretty happy I ended up with the fuji especially with the absurd prices they go for now. I feel like the best part of it is the film sims.
