Unfortunately this guy doesn't know much about the file types. MOV and MP4 Even Pro Ress can all be used on mac or Windows. If you are shooting in Pro Ress, even though it's an apple setting, I would recommend using a Windows pc, Because, 99% of of macs out there will not be able to hand it, with a mac you are very limited unless you have access to as much money as you need. For example my laptop is more powerful then any macbook and if you want to match it in a mac, it will cost you £14k, the laptop cost me £2.5k also when it come to a pc, the mac has no chance, I currently have 512gb Ram and 78tb 28 of which is SSD. No mac can handle it, but let's say it could, going by the current prices you will be looking at 50k
I know more than most people and your statement isn’t exactly accurate. You have to install proper codecs on windows, they are not there by default. I’m also going to call BS that your cheap laptop will outperform my MacBook Pro M1 Max.
Hi, I received my Classic one week ago and I'm really disappointed. The focus works not correctly, every photo is not really sharp, also the videos, independently from the 4K, C4K or 5.1k, auto mode or manual. My former Air2s with the 1" sensor did a better job. For such a big MFT sensor it is really a mess. Do you know such a problem? Maybe my classic has a failure...
@@FilmmakerCentral I wish Dji along w Autel labeled 10 bit. Instead I always have to spend lots of time trial and error and then use a media info app for mac to tell me its 10 bit.
I need to understand the auto focus on the mavic 3. With the 2 pro I could half press the shutter to lock focus but not with the 3. Should I just shoot as it is out of the box? Touch the screen to set a focus box? Is the constant autofocus trustworthy for stills?
The h264 and mov has not applied for so many years now, eve two years ago when this video was published it was not a problem any more. even my almost 15 year old intel works with both just nicely, just for the info. But however, many other good info in the video thought
I have found that with morning video shoots while yawing @ certain angles to the sun that the 50 hz antiflicker setting removes some of the light reflection of the propeller blades in the video. This can be very effective setting while auto does not seem to work.
portrait mode how do I get the 3 lines under the binoculars I don't no how I went photo picture but couldn't find it anywhere please help many thanks 🙏
Hey thanks for this tutorial! I enjoy flying my Mavic 3 but I'm not much into adjusting the settings down to the tiniest details so this is truly helpful!
Earned yourself a sub bro thank you so much your simple straight to the point and informative at the same time … that’s my kinda it right there thanks a lot preciate that big homie !!!
I’ve just switched over from mini 2 (bought to learn drone flight) to Mavic 3. Very interested in these settings; thanks for explaining H.264 / H.265. I’ve subscribed ~ I like your easy approach
Very good video and was checking my setting but on the RC-Pro and Mavic 3 Classic under Control and adjusting the gimbal settings, mine is different and the defaults are to fast. Beings winter in MN, it's pretty hard to go out and test.
thanks for the information.can you tell me what type of laptop computer can i use to download or transfer files from the internal ssd drive to external hard drive?
It is not just you. It was even shown on some of the early reviewer's screen shots, but the released version did not have it, although it is there for the Air 2S. Hopefully we see this make a comeback before the January update.
Great video as always! Well-explained and very comprehensive! It would take me a while to figure the settings out on my own! Good thing we have video guides like this one!
@@FilmmakerCentral yes thanks I understand the 180 rule which I stick to using 30 fps and 1/60 shutter speed. I’m a photographer and quite happy with the subject and my camera, but getting my head around the Mavic 3 (drone) camera settings is my problem now. I use my drone on remote walk’s (around 10 - 20 miles) so want to get the footage right as to redo walk is quite a repeat (although I like the environment I walk in).
Could you do a video on pulling off ProRes video off and editing it? I have the Cine and am filling up my TB because of the large size of the 5.1K files. I have a MacBook M1Max on order, but have never used a Mac. Also maybe on color grading and using LUTs on the Dlog10 H.265 footage?

I would contact whoever you purchased it from. It should work perfectly.
My Air 2S’s video was far superior to my classic. The images from the Classic are better though.
@@wolfiemedia Yes you are right. I returned the first classic, it was a lens problem. Now the second one is amazing.
H.265 allows more metadata than h.264. H.265 combined with log should be able to capture 10bit of color.
DJI has stated that on the M2P but they don’t say that the Mavic 3 requires H.265 for 10 but since you CAN record D-Log with H.264

So low!
There is NO color profile for photo mode. In video mode there is one but NOT in the photo mode, WHY?!?!

you brought no insight to the settings, I can read what is shown on the screen.... -_-
Very good tutorial and in human language :)
I just suscribe to your Chanel thanks for the info
Just got a Mavic 3 Cine...thank you very much for this video, it's a big help!!!

How can I get my photos, videos to transfer automatically to my phone
I have no idea. I have never wanted to do that.
Hi Kerry nice video here..
I live at a place it's mostly bright and sunny out there...!
Can you let me know how to get the best settings for that . ?
Running an ND16 filter will help a lot
@@FilmmakerCentral yeah I will try that and any idea if the telephoto lens zoom would still deliver the same ie with the nd16 on..?
Does it have portrait mode like the mavic pro? It’s good for uploading to tiktok and Instagram
No, you need to crop it.
Thank you very much.
nice vid, would you help me to see your clips about iso, shutter speed please?
I am not working on this channel anymore. There are countless good videos about that on RUclips
What's the best setting for my mavic 3 to fly more combo , to fly at night?
Try the new Night Mode setting
good voice sir

Am I missing something or does the mavic 3 cine only film in 400 or 800 iso if it is in DLog?
That is correct. Like some other cameras, it has restricted ISO settings when in D-Log
Excellent. New DJI Mavic 3 Classic Classic owner. Thank you for putting this together. ! ! !
Great info! Just got a Mavic 3 and this helped me alot with the camera settings 🙂
Hi sir first time in your channel good information about the Mavic 👍

Trying to familiarize myself with the Mavic 3's settings with this until I finally receive my own one! Thanks! Awesome video!
Thanks for posting. I've been looking for a video like this.
Another brill video easy to understand. Thanks
Thanks for this, really helpful. One question though? Is it just me or has the Colour Display Assist option gone when selecting D-Log?

Perfect video. Perfect. On so many levels!!!
Thanks a lot for this very comprehensive and clear video. Very useful !
Great tutorial talking the language I can relate to, no rushing through and confusing like others👍
HELLO , I HAVE A MAVIC 3 (NOT CINE) I CANT SEE THE 4K AT 120FPS ON MY OPTIONS, IT JUST STOPS AT 60FPS .. PLZ HOW DO I CHANGE THIS
You need to watch my other video, the answer is right here: ruclips.net/video/KOfKvCUuOgk/видео.html
gerat video - what do you recommend as the best smoothness settings etc for cinematic footage?
I think it is personal preference. I really crank my settings down because I am often flying from a moving Jeep on an off-road trail.
Great information. Merry Christmas.
I would love to see a video on how to color grade

Question please ~ to use the “slow motion” 120 fps in 4K button » but what shutter speed?
If possible, your shutter speed should be double your frame rate

You fly your drone indoors? Asking for a friend!
Generally not

I do t have the Cine version so I can’t do anything about the prores footage. I did create a custom LUT and there is a video about that already.
@@FilmmakerCentral thanks! I’ll look for that one.
Which tablet & case are you using in this video?
TripleTek 8 Pro tablet - no case

it seems to fit nice into the controller with out an extra attachment?
I did get an attachment for it, watch my video about it
Great video, do you know what the M.M stands for in the Pro setting?
That is the Metering, it will tell you in stops, how over and under exposed the scene is.
@@FilmmakerCentral many thanks. I guess the M stand for manual.
