It is beyond me how you ONLY have 247k subs. Your work and projects are top tier!! Keep the projects coming and you'll see 500k in no time. Awesome job on the FJ!
Yeah I think the same thing. Most these other car guy channels never finish projects, have multiple going on and they are scatter brained. The best part about Austin to me is he is focused. He gets a project started and finishes it through. Majority of others don’t. I really hope his channel grows because he deserves it
Looks awesome. I had doubts when you first started, especially the amount of work done to restore the panels and designing the suspension links. Now it looks like a million bucks
Absolutely fantastic looking rig. Never a doubt that it wouldn't be. This is the best part of any build, each piece going back on for the last time. You just step back and look and then add another piece and step back lol... you spend time admiring it with every step closer to the finish. Looks great 👍. Looking forward to seeing the next step in the assembly. Austin you really need to attend SEMA. You have some great builds that are worth being displayed. 😎👍
Man, we lovers of this off-rod world are simply speechless with a masterpiece made by someone who really does the work with love and perfection, brother, like you, congratulations, brother.
Been using Prismatic for years. I use their powders on cast bullets. Excellent adhesion performance. This FJ is going to be worth a fortune when you get done with it!
Definitely looks super sick! I’m not a fan of how dark it looks. Maybe it’s just the video and in person it looks different. And of course it’s yours and not mine so my opinion doesn’t matter lol but either way the quality and craftsmanship and all is absolutely top notch! It looks incredible and I cannot wait to see it out on some trails!
Bro I so freaking happy for you! I've been watching this build since day one, and I LOVE LCs and I LOVE watching a fabricator do what they do best. This thing is turning out so amazing, and idk if I'm more happy for you or jealous of you lol. Can't wait to see the finished product. I might break your knees if ya break it up into more videos tho lol jk. But you BETTER have some bad ass vids of wheeling this thing when it's done!
Wow, lookin' really good! Have you never considered putting rear fenders on? We had '78 BJ which had a nice snall extender fender on the rear arches and that made it look really good! Maybe too late in the build, or might impede travel of the wheels, but I think I'd go for it 😊
Amazing work as always Austin! It's looking awesome! Have you thought about maybe a small set of fender flares for the rear quarters? I wondered if they would look good on there! Keep up the great work! I look forward to the next video!
Cara eu acompanho seu trabalho aqui do Brasil, ficou além do que eu imaginei. Também temos esse Toyota aqui no país mas com certeza nenhuma igual a esse. Parabéns
Chip Foose designed one of these but non of his clients want to build one He’s giving away the design, you have the mad skills to do it (match the rear fenders ) Custom not stock Love the rear lights
Love it …I like the blacked out look..I would have done all the heads to the hardware …kinda sticks out like a sore thumb …just my opinion though..love the conten
SO much work-- I was hoping you'd go with a deeper red... it lost some of its charm going black/grey. Either way you just added another 30+ years of life to this thing.
You seem to lean into these dark colors... IMO and only IMO, the original color would have been better... perhaps a brighter, lighter color would have drawn too much attention to the bodywork you did? Dunno, but still, IMO, a job well done so far, you just have a few details remaining to call it done. 🙂
Not sure I’ve ever seen someone do more work in a shop and keep it so clean. RESPECT
Thanks! Yes I have ocd and clean the shop daily 😂
It is beyond me how you ONLY have 247k subs. Your work and projects are top tier!! Keep the projects coming and you'll see 500k in no time. Awesome job on the FJ!
Thank you man! Yeah we will get there!! Slowly but surely!

Thanks! It’s been a ton of work but finally paying off!
This build has turned out absolutely stunning. Your attention to detail shows. The finished build will be incredible!
Thank you!!
It's beautiful, you should be proud of all your hard work that goes into a build like that.
Thanks!
Looks absolutely beautiful! Tire shine works good on rubber such as your hood bumpers so they look black and shiny instead of dull
That is no longer a 50 year old truck, you've redone absolutely everything!
Wow!!! That thing looks AMAZING!!! Love it! Can't wait to see it through to running and driving! Thanks Austin!
Amazing build always get a thumbs up before even watching...❤
IMO this tops anything your brothers have done so far. Great job!!!
By far
Absolutely fantastic looking rig. Never a doubt that it wouldn't be. This is the best part of any build, each piece going back on for the last time. Man, we lovers of this off-rod world are simply speechless with a masterpiece made by someone who really does the work with love and perfection, brother, like you, congratulations, brother.
This rig is a work of art! Fantastic job!! The first dent wheeling is going to hurt a little haha
Been using Prismatic for years. I use their powders on cast bullets. Excellent adhesion performance. This FJ is going to be worth a fortune when you get done with it!
Do you remember the first episode of this series? "I don't want to do anything crazy." LOL This FJ i crazy awsome ! :D
Lets not talk about that haha things escalated 😂
looking super slick, can't wait to see it with a full interior and glass in 😁
It's really weird not seeing it red 🤣 Looking sick though!
This build should be shown at SEMA. Beautiful build
Coming together nicely. Looking forward to see it working

It is insane ,well done 👍👍 ,if i can make a suggestion i will make some type of small fenders on the back wheels ,i think it will be more complete.
I know you are going to be offered a lot of money for that thing but man that looks like a keeper to me.

In my opinion all the nut and bolt that you use coat it with gold plating it would be more 'fun'
Congrats brother !! Hard work but all worth it
Damn….. gotta love the qaulity of work here…….
Wow, lookin' really good!

Man, so often doing 2 person jobs by yourself. Way to go, but at some point (once 40+) thats going to suck. Truck looks awesome! I want that!
Cara eu acompanho seu trabalho aqui do Brasil, ficou além do que eu imaginei. Também temos esse Toyota aqui no país mas com certeza nenhuma igual a esse. Parabéns
