I still can’t believe you do all this by yourself, man. It really makes me question these other RUclipsrs who don’t get much done because they need help. I remember when you first got the FJ and I thought to myself there ain’t no way this is salvageable. You did it bro. It looks amazing! With the battery there, is the front right tire gonna hit it when the tire is stuffed and you turn at all?
I have to admit. Between many channels on YT I watch, you are the most inspiring! The way you engineer solutions, solve the problems, cut metal and make it work for you, is INSANE GOOD! And your videos are perfectly tuned. No mudding, no long bothering speech bullshit. All to the point, super hero you are Austin. I want to be like you…. OK never will, but maybe 30-50%?
Awesome work as usual. You might have to close in the corners to your shroud to the radiator for added air pull later if she run hot. Like the way that battery box was over built. It’s not going anywhere. Congrats on getting the windows in. I know you’ll sleep better knowing they’re done.
For the wipers on my '73 FJ40, I grabbed a set of wiper arms from a junkyard jeep, cut the hook ends off of them and welded them to my FJ40 wipers. Easy mod, and now I can use modern wipers from any autoparts store. Also, for the window rubbers, they're still available from Toyota. The OEM ones fit soooooo much better.
Looks insane and quality is top notch, just definitely see how that fan setup does, usually you want the fan shroud to cover the whole surface area of the radiator (fins), and adding a small gasket around that surface is ideal, that way it can really pull air through it almost like a vacuum, you really notice it on track cars, but hey if it doesn’t get hot then there’s no issue, thanks for the content
im not a jeep guy but i am really loving this build, from the attention to detail to the fabrication, to the admiting when you're like "idk what im doing but lets tackle this issue and if it doesnt work well try something else" I have a feeling that when this build is done itll be done done and not "youtube done" and thats part of what makes me really like it..... got me sitting here thinking about wanting a jeep and all i want is an awd hatchback so ima look into getting a golf R later this year
You’re truly an inspiration man. One day when I get my own garage / shop I’m just going to watch your videos on repeat to motivate me to figure it out on my own!
Everything is looking great 👍.. Really enjoy watching the build. I know it's not done but I am curious to see what's next ? One thing I am sure of... it's going to be amazing ! 😎👍
Yeah a lot of cars had the battery in the back or under the back seat. There's good and bad but it's an option. I love your work and the channel. Been watching for a long time.
Unbelievable work my man!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 question is…what’s NEXT??🤔I love that you do Toyotas and I wouldn’t mind seeing you do some type of 2nd gen TUNDRA project or something??😊
Are you going to build front wheel liners to help prevent throwing debris into your engine bay? Btw, RUclips needs to pronote your channel to anyone that watches vehicle or fabrication channels. Hope you see 1,000,000 subs soon. You deserve it!!!
If you made hood struts for a Jeep Wrangler, I would buy them from you. I'm sure they can be found on Amazon but I don't need them. Only if you where to make them, I would support you. 2007-2018

Haha well thank you I appreciate that!!
I would look into running a smaller lithium battery. Awesome build
Awesome work as usual.

Who wouldn’t want this man to build you a truck , build quality is off the charts
Absolutely! I haven't seen anyone else come even close to this kind of work. He has an absolute given talent.

Awesome build quality! Keeping the Niemela tradition of creative talent alive and continuing to raise the bar! Keep the content coming!
Thank you!!

you could always run the battery from inside the cab. might take a little more work but free up a lot of space.
Yeah a lot of cars had the battery in the back or under the back seat. There's good and bad but it's an option. I love your work and the channel. Been watching for a long time.
Your fabrication skills are top notch Austin !
The FJ has come a long way and we all look forward to them.
Great job aand video as always.
Thank you!!
i have a suggestion, if you can't get the battery box to fit in the engine bay. you could always relocate it to inside the cab.
Battery fits great!
I installed mine under the back seat (turned my 45 into a 4 door).
Your skills are amazing! Awesome build!
Thank you!
By far, the best channel on YT.
Keep it up creative work neat and wonderful and alone you are the monster of the garage
Check out the FFD3600 fan. 3600cfm 16" fan and very affordable. Love mine.
Challenge? Accepted!. Problems? Solved! Results? Outstanding!.
Unbelievable work my man!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 question is…what’s NEXT??🤔I love that you do Toyotas and I wouldn’t mind seeing you do some type of 2nd gen TUNDRA project or something??😊
You’re gonna want to seal that shroud fully
You've done an amazing job on this truck! I'm blown away by the quality of your work! Look forward to the next one!
Thanks man!
This is better than Yellowstone! I’m too invested in these windows😂
It`s nice to see that the windows situation is over.
It is recommended that the headlight bucket be drilled for heat dissipation. My 1962 FJ40 had a burnt headlight lens. From Japan 🇯🇵😃
Top shelf Niemela....or TSN.....to acronym the man👍👍
That looks absolutely amazing, you are very good at what you do
I’ve never seen glass installed like that. I’ve always put the rubber on the glass. Then install it to the opening.
Yes a rope in gasket you install the gasket on the window first! On this style locking gasket it’s the other way!

Thanks man! Yes I’ll build fender liners for it!
Another beautiful build buddy, your top shelf for sure ! 👌👍
Man, this is the nicest FJ on the internet. No doubt!
Waiting on then hood struts for your Samurai.
Killing it dude. Im loving the way toss FJ is turning out the paint is sick
I like the music @ 7:00
Looking good! Should be ready for The 4th of July Parade.
Hi mate, the 40s looking awesome so far, is that radiator a stock size and 3 core? Cheers
Wow.. you're VERY TALENTED..
Try an xs power lithium battery another RUclipsr I watch uses those without any issues
Como siempre el contenido de tus videos es excelente
Hey Austin, if you don’t mind can you throw a link to the wiper inserts please? Keep up the great work!
Im sorry I forgot about that! I just added the link!

Once again, very impressive work.
What is the brand of window rubber you finally installed?
Your videos are GREAT, working on a 73 fj40
Thanks! I have it linked in the description, I used a trim lock gasket
So this window seal is just for the bid side windows? Or did it work for all ?
Good stuff, looks awesome!
This looks awesome Austin.! 🎉🎉🎉

Should mount battery in the rear. Clean up engine bay
