    I did this yesterday. I just used the wire going into the original light on the E Bike🤷‍♂️ as long as it’s rated 12 to 80 w it works just fine, I just had to make sure the light I got was two wires. But I am going to return the LED light I bought at Harbor freight because like you said, I prefer the round one. It looks more like a motorcycle and it’s bigger and circumference

      The round light definitely looks better but I gotta say, the light output is way brighter on the light bar. Either way, keeps you safe for night riding.

    Can u show us how you attached everything?

    You should put heat shrink over those connections as well.

      I actually just picked some up along with some newer connections. I plan on re-wiring everything with a different setup.

    If those connectors are solder n seal you need to solder the wires first before you slide it over the connection

    Do you have DYI for a rear light signal brake setup?

    I've got a light bar on my E ride pro SS, and it seems to be pointed up in the sky instead of straight or down.
    Do you have any hints on how I would fix that?
    I'm sure the light bar is not that different from what you're dealing with there

      Nice! The light bar gives it a Mad Max type of look. Really rugged looking

    Do you have a video of installing a light switch to this type of system? I’m definitely doing this on my sons Razor MX650. But with the Talentcell, I need to tuck that away and run a switch to the handlebar. I don’t have a lot electrical knowledge. But, I’m going to give this a try. Great video and I’m looking forward to doing this project.

      I don’t currently, however, I am planning to rewire my entire lighting system so I’ll make a video about that. I’m sure you’ll find another video beforehand, but I thank you for the kind words.

      I haven’t done a full on test, however, I was out for over an hour filming that video and by the time I got home I still had plenty of juice in the battery.

    Looks great....how long does the charge last?

    • @Eattrvlroll
      @Eattrvlroll  Год назад +1

      I can go a few days without charging. Normally, I’ll recharge after a couple nights use just so it always topped off.

    How long does that battery last you before you have to charge it?

    • @Eattrvlroll
      @Eattrvlroll  2 года назад

      I’ve never drained it all the way down. However, I’ve took it on some night rides where it’s been on for a couple of hours and still plenty of juice left.

    Hey man is that talentcell piece necessary? I tried doing this mod but without that and when I turn the lights on it just blinks once and stays off

    • @Eattrvlroll

      What are you using to power the lights?

    • @manasseh7
      @manasseh7 2 года назад +1

      @@Eattrvlroll directly into the stock headlight wiring . wired it to a 2 pin connector. apparently the light has to be a 0v-80v light for it to work since the x52 is 52 volt. otherwise anything less than 52 won't work. the one in your description I think is only 12-32v if I'm not mistaken
      how did you make it work?

    • @Eattrvlroll
      @Eattrvlroll  2 года назад +1

      @@manasseh7 ah I see. Yea, so in your case, wire it up to use with an external battery pack is the way to go for those lights.

      @@Eattrvlroll thanks I was tryna to avoid that I thought it was as easy as just wiring red to red and black to black and running it

    Can the other end of the shared cable be used to run background signals?
