Ok so at 3:16 Safiya talks about the foundation comments. While working on a homework assignment, I see 'Brenda Rose', and my eyes go wide. That is my mom's name and it put me through a state of shock. I then read the review and realize it sounds like what my mom would say. I decided to go check so I wouldn't make a fool of myself and my mom started laughing, confirming she made the comment. I didn't start watching Safiya's videos till 2019 but this was pure gold now that she's one of my favorite RUclipsrs.

4 years later Miss A is literally the best thing ever. Their line of products (AOA studio) are really consistently good. Some of my favorite everyday products are from Miss A (including my setting powder). I'll be wearing a face that includes more expensive products and Miss A stuff and more often than not I'll get compliments on the Miss A products specifically. My lashes are always from Miss A. I live and die by one of their primers. I actually reach for my Miss A foundation over my expensive foundation all the time. Money doesn't always equate quality.
Shop Miss A actually has some quality brushes! I purchased 3 sets of 10 brushes (30 total) and they are still in great condition! I clean them religiously (acne and stuff) and they’ve held up very nice! They do smell when you first receive them but the smell is mostly the packaging
You REALLY know how to review makeup Safiya! Most beauty gurus I’m used to say “Omg i liiiive” with no real detail into what about. And i thank you for really digging into the wear and things. ☺️

Most Korean makeup is pretty great! Also Etude House seems pretty hypoallergenic if you have skin sensitivities--I have and I've never had a problem with their makeup.
I literally LOVE this website and their makeup. I've never had a reaction to anything, of course there was a couple of misses but overall I was super impressed with it and continue to use it.
Omg yes!! I have been ordering from shopmissa forever. It's like my secret weapon lol cruelty free and affordable, what more can you ask for. The aoa highlighters and wonder matte/metallic liquid lipsticks are must-tries! They're literally better than some of my high end stuff. Love to watch your videos Saf, keep up the amazing content!!
I just got an email from MISS A saying they're Safiya Approved! lol. I ordered some of the sponges a couple weeks ago, I've heard some people say they're really good! Ive not received the package yet though :( hopefully it's coming soon.
Erika Mayén, yes, it arrived the day after that comment! I’ve only tried the light pink sponge so far and it worked OK, was very dense, and it seemed to soak up quite a bit of my foundation. Right now I just use it for one of my skin care products. I really like the light purple “precision beauty” sponge that’s at Wal-Mart though! -Has been my new fav!

It came about two weeks after I ordered it! Being a natural blonde who has no eyebrows and therefore has to work harder with makeup to achieve, the brow sword is amazing. It looks so natural and I love it! And the liquid lipstick is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend it because the products are absolutely worth their price.

The brushes at Miss A are nice. I bought a 12 piece set for $10. that to me is a major win. And if you need extra brushes they are only $1!!! The liquid lip products are nice.. I even ventured off and tried the metallic lip and was pleasantly surprised. Never used the complexion products because I'm a chocolate girl and didn't Like the color secretion. Btw I went to their store not the website. The bath bombs are bomb!
Bianca Keynes Yes i have they Are nice. They may not last as long as more expensive brushes but i personally replace my brushes every 6 months or so because i have acne prone skin.
i did not pay shipping. there is a Miss A store about an hour from me and i was at the mall so i stopped in to check them out. the products are nice for the price. i only purchased the liquid lip sticks in matte and metallic (including this bomb gold metallic color that i love). i also bought a variety of brushes including a 12 piece brush set for $10 (the set i bought had a large fan brush in it and i was super excited about it because i saw a similar brush at Sephora for over $20!!)The makeup sponges(Beauty Blender knock off) are my absolute fave. i have the largest or 2nd to largest sponges and i use them DAILY. i also like the HD Eyeshadow brush its angled and works great at building intensity. i also grabbed some black liquid eyeliner which is nice (not a big liquid eyeliner fan but i gave it a try it was only a buck) and a lip liner which isnt bad reminds me of the SmachBox liner that i love. if you decide to order from them the brushes are worth it, bath bombs are BOMB but i would avoid the complexion products if you are a chocolate girl because the color choices are slim to none. hope this helps and answers some questions
I never realized how little I knew about makeup. I need to sit and make a list of all the types of makeup Safiya uses and get myself some. She looks amazing.
Their stuff is always being update and frankly it's all amazing. Their translucent powder is my go-to and I have pretty oily skin. I've only had one or two products I didn't care for, and I've ordered at least 20 products from them. Pretty good value.
I have been very happy with the product I have bought from Miss A and how quickly the product gets to me. The only downside so far is that they are sold out of a lot of products I have been interested in trying at times.
Do you remember that one time you casually mentioned that you would like to modify clothes you own, perhaps with a cape? Some of us would love to see you pursue that idea (if you can without getting sued).

Erika Mayén, yes, it arrived the day after that comment! I’ve only tried the light pink sponge so far and it worked OK, was very dense, and it seemed to soak up quite a bit of my foundation. Right now I just use it for one of my skin care products. I really like the light purple “precision beauty” sponge that’s at Wal-Mart though! -Has been my new fav!
It’s honestly not bad, I bought a bb cream, face primer, face cream, eyeshadow pallet and liquid lipstick and my face is still here

Had it come yet,are the products any good.
It came about two weeks after I ordered it! Being a natural blonde who has no eyebrows and therefore has to work harder with makeup to achieve, the brow sword is amazing. It looks so natural and I love it! And the liquid lipstick is gorgeous!
Would definitely recommend it because the products are absolutely worth their price.

The brushes at Miss A are nice. I bought a 12 piece set for $10. that to me is a major win. And if you need extra brushes they are only $1!!! The liquid lip products are nice.. I even ventured off and tried the metallic lip and was pleasantly surprised. Never used the complexion products because I'm a chocolate girl and didn't Like the color secretion. Btw I went to their store not the website. The bath bombs are bomb!

i did not pay shipping. there is a Miss A store about an hour from me and i was at the mall so i stopped in to check them out. the products are nice for the price. i only purchased the liquid lip sticks in matte and metallic (including this bomb gold metallic color that i love). i also bought a variety of brushes including a 12 piece brush set for $10 (the set i bought had a large fan brush in it and i was super excited about it because i saw a similar brush at Sephora for over $20!!)The makeup sponges(Beauty Blender knock off) are my absolute fave. i have the largest or 2nd to largest sponges and i use them DAILY. i also like the HD Eyeshadow brush its angled and works great at building intensity. i also grabbed some black liquid eyeliner which is nice (not a big liquid eyeliner fan but i gave it a try it was only a buck) and a lip liner which isnt bad reminds me of the SmachBox liner that i love. if you decide to order from them the brushes are worth it, bath bombs are BOMB but i would avoid the complexion products if you are a chocolate girl because the color choices are slim to none. hope this helps and answers some questions

Their stuff is always being update and frankly it's all amazing. Their translucent powder is my go-to and I have pretty oily skin. I've only had one or two products I didn't care for, and I've ordered at least 20 products from them. Pretty good value.
