    Another enjoyable outing in Scranton! I like how you explore your town. I've done that also almost everywhere I've lived.
    I've also had some warm days to ride here in Texas. Three days after an ice storm it was in the 70's! My bike is still doing great also, even though it could use new brake pads. They don't last very long!

      Thanks! I feel like a lot of cities and such have hidden gems behind the scenes. A day of cruising on an e-bike is the perfect way to discover those places. It never gets old!
      Oh wow 70! I haven't felt that temp in quite a while. Lucky! Yeah, the pads don't last long but it also means you're riding a good amount. That's not a bad thing. Safe cruising!

      @@keepingitkresky4412 just wanted to pass onto you a mod I did to my HS2 yesterday; I replaced the stock shock absorbers with Mallofusa 320mm rear shocks (eye to clevis mount) and man what a difference in ride comfort! Also bike seems to corner better. Between this mod and the replacement seat from Saul's upholstery, the bike I bought is not nearly the same as the bike I ride now. Shocks were only $70 a pair, from Amazon.
      One more thing; I did my first brake pad replacement yesterday. Was not hard, but thank you for posting about it as I had some advance wisdom going in.

      I never really considered messing with my shocks but I'll admit you have me thinking about it now. The possibility of better cornering is a huge plus. Thanks for the tip! I almost forget about my seat until I'm a couple miles in on a ride and then I'm like dang, I'm sore already lol. As for the shocks, did that mess with the height of the bike at all?
      Glad to hear the brake change went well! The first time is always a bit scary but as you know it's not too bad of a job at all. I'm about to buy new rotors and I'm looking into possibly upgrading them from 180mm to 203mm. Researching adaptors and such now. I'll make a video on what happens with that project.
      Thanks as always for sharing and checking out the videos!

      @@keepingitkresky4412 the shocks I bought could possibly alter the bike's height if they are adjusted to do so, but I left it at stock height; with the custom seat now on the bike, and my 6'4" height, I can barely straddle the seat now.
      The better cornering I reported earlier has improved more since I coordinated the front and rear shock pre-tensioning adjustments. It's a confidence booster while out riding; almost worth the shock upgrade cost by itself.
      I'll keep an eye out for your brake rotor upgrade. I bought Shimano pads for my recent brake job; they do squeal a lot less. The rear brake not at all...the front brake only when pushed hard. Considerably better than what came from the Juiced factory.
      On Saturday, we were in the upper 70's for high temps, so I rode all the way from my house to my city's river trail system, where you can go for miles with no worries from vehicular traffic. It was wonderful; can't wait to do it again. So nice to see parts of the city I otherwise can't during the daily grind. I can see why you love to get out and just ride around, filming the journey as you go.

      Howdy. Congrats on the purchase! It may sound cheesey but get ready for a life changing experience. You won't regret it. Glad to hear you dig the videos. It will be spring time soon and I'll be able to get more footage.. Waiting for that delivery is going to be the toughest part. It's a really good bike and well worth it. Safe riding out there!

    Hello Nick good to see you and the bike is still looking good I always see problems with the super73s but the juice bike is a solid choice I don't hear a lot going wrong with those apart from wear and tear, brother ✔️

      Hey Rory. Thanks as always for checking out my vids! Yeah, I really lucked out with this bike. I'm over 5000 miles and I haven't had anything serious go wrong with it. Recommending juiced bikes is always an easy decision. Here's to another 5000 miles 💪

      Something is a bit off with the LCD mount and it won't tighten all the way. It likes to drfit out of position and how it sits now is the most stable. I will try and figure something out so everyone can see it. Thnaks for the feedback!!

    how fast were you going near the end?

    • @keepingitkresky4412
      @keepingitkresky4412  Год назад +1

      Hey man. 25-30mph. The bike tops out around there unless I'm just coasting down a big hill. I still don't like to go much faster than that though. The brakes aren't cut out for it.

    Hello from rural central PA! been enjoying your videos in my research. mind if I ask you a few questions?
    Do you ever get questioned about the legality of your bike? I really want a "moped-style" e-bike but am concerned people or cops would give me grief on main roads or trails b/c of it's looks.
    The standover height of the HS2 seems a rather high at 35.5". I am 5'9" with a 30" inseam. Do you think that is too short to be comfortable at stops?
    Lastly, there is a limited edition of the HS2 available rn for 500 more. Do you think I'd be better of buying the bas model and adding my own upgrades? (i.e. handlebars, breaks)
    Sorry for the novel, been stressing this purchase for a few months now :D Happy riding!

      @keepingitkresky4412  Год назад +1

      Good questions.
      Thankfully I never get messed with by anyone. I think if you are respectful and aware of your surroundings you shouldn't attract unwanted attention. Every city/town could be different of course. Scanton is cool like that. If you don't bother anyone and "stay in your lane" chances are no one will bother you. I am not perfect but I do my best to be safe while riding especially when I am near pedestrians. So far so good!
      I think you should be ok with the height. I also heard of some people wearing boots or getting new rear shocks that can lower the bike an inch or two. That could be a fale-safe if the bike feels a bit too tall. Sorry I can't say for sure. Juiced has a size chart. I think 5'9" is tall enough per their mesurments. My aunt is 5'7" and she had to tippy toe to touch the ground but it was doable.
      As for the limited edition bike. I don't think anything on that bike is particularly upgraded as in it has better parts than the original HS2. Besides the headlight+speaker which is neat and maybe the seat leather. I do love that green color. Anyway, it basicaly comes with parts people put on after. I would do this. Put the original HS2 in your cart and put the available accessories you want in the cart too. If that price is super close to the limited edition then maybe get that one. The added headlight fairing is nice but it does make it seem more like a motorcycle. That is why I never got one. Just something to think about.
      Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the channel! Feel free to ask questions whenever.

      @@keepingitkresky4412 very thorough answers! Really appreciate your perspective and advice. You've made me feel a bit better about "moped styles" in PA for sure. Was looking at the Ariel Rider Grizzly originally but my family was concerned I'd get grief over it's looks, so I've been looking for that sweet spot where i won't get too many eyes. Thanks again for your time and response.

      Glad to help out! If you ever have anymore questions ask anytime. The whole process is a bit overwhelming. The money and trying to decide and all that. After one ride you'll know it was worth it. Good luck!
