love those gears. installed underdrive gears to my new custom Cherokee build and quality is really impressive. Runs very smooth with traxxas esc, transmission and stock motor. much better at crawling now. Ordered also overdrive gears to make a speedy beast
Take that tablet out of little dudes hands and buy him a trx4m to join you on the fun. He seems intrigued by it and you could bond with him by teaching him how to upgrade his with his own hop ups
The lcg carbon fiber chassis from injora helps with servo clearance to get better articulation. And the bearing kit to replace all the bushings helps so so much! Great video!
I’ll have to look at that chassis kit, I actually just swapped out the bushings for bearings in these axles! This rig actually has trill portals on right now haha.
Nice! I'm glad to see how well these perform so I just bought the same exact set. I'm hoping they will also help with torque twist, (especially with my Defender body) on paper it should, but we'll see how it turns out.
I just watched your video on the Meus axles(for some reason I was not able to post a comment there) and, as a total nubie, I appreciate your transparency when encountering challenges; for that reason, i am a subscriber now! Not that I'm the least bit qualified to give advice, but a common issue I've heard and read is over torqued screws and nuts... it might not hurt to go back through and double check all your hardware. With Kind Regards, Dom
I’m trying to install injora overdrive to my front axle but the inner hole to the bearing is too small to fit on the shaft of the gear curious if you had that problem?
Just tried to install these but get a ton of binding as soon as I put the diff covers back on. Have you seen that issue? The gears are rubbing against the inside of the cover.
Sorry if its a nonsense question, but why do you put different ratios in each axle? Shouldn't both be the same?? Edit: never mind, I've just look after it, great mod for crawling.
I think so, overdrive is when the wheel speed is faster that the driveshaft so conversely, under drive would be a bit slower but it would crawl better.

My over drive gears which I ordered from China, should be here next week, great info video 👍
Let me know how you like them! So far they’re working great.

Thank you! Yeah I’m going to go back through everything to double check hardware, clearance inside the axle.
Nice Video. The little one is cute!!! Lol

Sorry for the late reply! No I never had this issue. Did you figure it out?

Great video brother! Would you mind sending a link to the wheels? Thanks
I appreciate it! I got these from little guys racing. littleguyracingparts.com/collections/wheels
Where did you put the washers that come with the kit?
Nice ❤
Thank you
What does under drive do is it like low range gearing?
I think so, overdrive is when the wheel speed is faster that the driveshaft so conversely, under drive would be a bit slower but it would crawl better.
Will the trail kings fit ok on stock?
I don’t see why not 🤷🏻♂️
Upgrade to actual bearings. The bushings are creating a lot of drag in the driveline
They make that big of a difference?
@@chrish9502 they made a huge difference in mine.
What if u plan to run in water
Do you think it was a improvement?.
I think it was, I want to take it out on the trails I have in the past to see how it performs.
