Like, really... before you read that tiktok comment i was legit thinking "gosh, imagine the dedication of this girl working everything on her own and someday she'll be one of those big brands like Chanel" then you read that and- you may have just started but we all can definitely see you there already.
I just wanted to say you are really one of my main inspirations for fashion design. I’m going to be a sophomore in high school this year and watching your videos really inspire me and motivate me continue to sew and create clothes. I LOVE your business and I know for sure it will do well! ❤️❤️❤️
my friend & I just recently started a sustainable fashion brand & I found your channel & have literally been binge watching everything 😂 it makes me so excited !!
@@LearningWithVal it’s called loveyourown it’s @loveyourown_ on ig if you’re interested :) we only have a few products started like tote bags and scrunchies but starting to release more 🤍
Well done sweetheart, I'll be sure to stay up to date with your progress. Your folks must be so proud! Keep your positive attitude, your enthusiasm is contagious and you have a beautiful on screen vibe! Just remember, everyone has a off day or 2, don't let that get to you IF YOU HAVE ANY, there is only one outcome for someone with your positive and determined attitude and its SUCCESS!!! P.S. Just a tip for you 😉, when working with stretch fabric, the best solution to get the garment back to its original shape on the edges you have sewn... instead of ironing it before you ship it, try to get yourself a hand clothing steamer, all the fibres will "shrink" back to what they were😉 (and it's much faster).
Your videos are such a treat! I hope to start my own small made to order business too! Still saving up for materials but I just bought my first serger today :) one step at the time.. keep up the great work!!!
This is so cool! I’m thinking about starting my own brand sometime in the future. Question: do you sew a set amount of clothing before your launch date, and then after that date, try to get everything to sell out and not sew anymore of the same clothing (and work on the next line)? Or, do you continue to take orders and sew more clothing until a cut off date? I’m curious because these logistics are needed to be worked out😅
Awesome!! I work in tailoring (also a design graduate) but I think your life would be made a lot more easier if you could invest in an industrial double needle machine since you work with a lot of knits. But keep up the good work I admire your dedication!!
Hey Natalia! Love your vids. I'm trying to start my brand, and like you, I sew and do everything myself. It's a pretty scary thing to do, and I thought it wouldn't be possible, but your vids give me lots of hope. Thank you!! I wanted to know if you prewash any of your fabric before sewing it and where did you get all your measurements from when it come to sizes. Thank you for inspiring me and many others trying to make it out there doing what we love :)
Great question! I'm at the same place as you. I've just started measuring a few of my friends with all different body types. I want to try to find "MY size Medium" and not like Nike size Medium. Lol. Then I have been working on a basic block that I can use for all my pattern sizing from. Not looking forward to grading 🤮
This fear of dead stock piled up (even when I make one of a kind upcycled stuffs) hits me hard. So I am not focusing on this fear. I think focusing on creations is best way to deal and overcome this.
Love following your journey. Best of luck. I have always been curious as to how fabric is treated when sewing clothing for a business. I have always heard that fabric should be pre washed to avoid shrinkage and for other reasons. Especially knits. How do you treat your fabric prior to construction.
Hi dear, this is interesting, I'm still in college and want to start my own business in fashion after school. Please can you name some basic and important tools or stuffs you must have in your place for a startup, to make work less stressful.
Hey giirl you're looking pretty loving this tutorial, thanks for showinng this to me youtube. I wanted to know how to sew my own clothing, because all the money I spend is always on other brands. So I thought if they got clothes for sale, wy can't my money be on fabrics and a swering machine since I only got limited options due to my size is 3 XL in my shoulders as well as me being very tall with long arms and legs.
Are you shipping to Portugal? I LOVE the concept of brand. I have my own work on my Clothing brand but I want to support you, because I am so proud of you, and I have a question.. where did you get the stickers and that stuff from? Actually proud that our generation have someone like you. Because it’s actually so good to have people on the fashion business/ industry that actually care about sustainability. I wish I could fit in those dresses. But for now I will just buy (if you ship to Portugal) the stuff for my hair. Can’t wait to see more

Yes you must start. I am so inspired by her. I too feel like documenting and uploading my business journal. The struggle is for real! Can totally relate with her. 💞
I still upload vlogs! I don't get as many orders as I used to, so it's not going to be the same level of crazy sewing, but I'm still sharing my work :)

I think one has to stock the products first and then sell it out and start off with new fabrics.. I go with ur opinion.
I’ve been wondering this for a while too

I don't know if you already did this but you can make matching scrunchie's from the leftover fabric of the dresses, it seems like it is enough! x
Great idea!
Hi, I recently found your channel, and I love it 🥰 but the music is to loud and you talk to quite, as I constantly need to adjust the volume 🤍
