A lot of the bosses get dumb new abilities in brutal, but the rest of the bosses are great. I eventually changed the damage numbers to make it a little easier, and now I find brutal far more fun than normal.
@@KaganathClive's a righty so watch his right arm. If he's readying an underarm throw, it's going to be a bomb in the air. If he's preparing a pitch throw he's throwing a sticky bomb, so save your dash for that. Can't remember how many attempts I made to actually get that fight.
@@dazzle201 I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for that on a new playthrough. I didn't feel fulfilled with how we defeated him here so that's really good to know!
You can skip most of act 2 if you just kill leandra, bane, and maja then around 50-56 you can kill spider, angram, and Ben then kill all 3rd act Wilfred and Frog optional will save you a lot of time
I considered doing skips, but since this is my first Brutal playthrough I wanted to see all the new mechanics they added for bosses. Also, SPOILER alert for the video.... - - - - - - - - - - - This was a failed speedrun anyway, I didn't expect to spend literally days on any boss in this game lol. Stunlock definitely humbled us.
Don't worry, we all probably will try brutal and eventually complete it, in fact before even jumping into brutal as I have only Dracula and Simon Spandex Aran to defeat, I kinda wish Brutal would be harder than it is now(I know I'm gonna regret it when I try it, but its just not Brutal to me if almost everyone can complete it, that would just be Hard)
I think the balance on the current Brutal Difficulty is already pretty fair. From steam achievements, we know that only 1% of players have beaten Dracula on Brutal so there's really not a lot of people completing the run.

It was a very good video, thanks you ! :)
Thank you! It was very fun to make!

I really like the additions to Brutal Mode, but the Clive sticky bombs still piss me off even to this day!

Another stellar video I'm sure, unfortunately I intend to play this myself at some point so I'm gonna have to skip for now.
It’s been one of my favorite games for a while now! I’m sure you’ll like it, but Brutal mode is hard to recommend for a first playthrough.
