Especially, main first boss battle before end of dungeons that needs planned strategy to win especially if low on healing and not controlling healer/revive mage in limited space. LOL , it will definitely be entertaining for us! It is beneficial if Shale has correct specs to give team help in the battle along side healer/revive mage. I do wonder his responds to final boss and team reactions.

The dungeons in this game are long, but I always considered that a feature more than a flaw. Dragon Age Origins is as much about dungeon crawling as it is about the story or characters. That's honestly part of the biggest disappointments of DA2; it's copy and paste dungeons take all the fun out of the exploration and dungeon delving aspects of the game.

Defiling the urn gets you reaver in exchange for losing both wynne and lelianna. Honestly the game just doesn't give you a good reason in terms of either gameplay or roleplaying to defile the urn. If you really want reaver you can just save infront of the urn, defile the urn, talk to kolgrim and then reload to in front of the urn. Reaver is an ok specialization but I don't recomend using it to new players because it's really easy to kill yourself when using it. Templar/Champion are really good specs for new players.

I think people overstate just how bad and evil blood magic is. All magic is magic, a tool to be used. Blood magic isn't just sacrificing people. You can have blood magic that doesn't involve demons or sacrifice. Solas in DAI has some enlightening things about magic and demons. Peoples' perceptions about how demons behave is also a factor in how demons behave. And since demons are merely spirits turned away from their purpose, it's terrible people in general, not just mages, who are responsible for wicked demons.

She was very real, and in a world where magic exists, her "miracles" could easily have just been of her own doing and the Maker had nothing to do with it and people either just didn't realize she was a mage and rumors began to spread, or she was the one making the claims herself and spreading the rumors.

Jon, your 'Andraste was really a dragon' theory was entertaining, you actually made a decent case for it. To be fair, high dragons were worshipped thru history, especially in Tevinter and all archdemons are dragons. That would have been a great twist, but no, they're just crazy, very crazy. It's weird that there's not an option in the dialogue to say you'll destroy the ashes but it's a lie - your companions act like you're dead serious.
An interesting side effect of the urn quest is confirmation that a surprising amount of the Andraste legend is actually true. For a religion, they stuck pretty close to the true events. If you can't trust the original people involved, who can you trust?
