Bravo for not calling out the man, who you can near as guarantee had been shoving poles and metal bars down the pipe to try and unblock it himself . It's amazing how much of this job is done by feel and touch which shows years of on the job experience, not something you can gain from books or watching youtube videos .
Bloody Hell! In all my years i just didn't know. Having found your videos and going by the investment in gear, the spares you're carrying, your experienced knowledge and the sheer nasty nature of the work & the stuff you have to deal with, i have a new found respect for plumbing .... YOU GUYS SURE EARN YOUR PAYCHECK (& next time i need one i won't be freaking out at the bill so much)...
Nasty job but I love watching you do it. You definitely earn every penny you're paid. It's fascinating to see you pull all this stuff out of pipes. Great videos.
I love it when the old plunger comes out. When I did the job many years ago, all I had was a bundle of rods, a plunger, a scraper and a screw. No Jetta or drain cam in those days.
I appreciate the commentary as to what you think is going on. Makes it much more interesting to see what you are doing if we can understand what you think is happening.
Max Verschuren I doubt it would work unless you’re careful enough. If those metal jetter heads slap the side of the porcelain it will definitely break it. It’s safer to just cut a hole straight down than navigating it through the bends of the toilet. Also they don’t just cut the toilet Willy nilly. They attack the inspection openings first but sometimes you gotta just go through the loo.
Mad props and respect for these guys. I've never seen a blockage ever so seeing this gives me a completely new respect for all plumbers. These guys need to get paid fat stacks for dealing with all this issh.
I am amazed at how you handle some of these issues. It's very creative. Where ever you are though your building codes are really bad. A non removable toilet that is concreted in and cant be removed? That's insane. I liked that you showed the patching of the pipe. In some of your other videos you cut holes in clay field tile pipes but don't show the pipe repair. You have a very interesting profession. I clear field tiles a few times a year but this is the very first time I have ever seen anyone cut a hole in a toilet.
I must say I am impressed by the knowledge you have. You never seem to hit a problem that you can't handle. How many years of experience do you have clearing drains?
aaron darling we only see a fraction of his jobs he will go to lots of places everyday, and I'll bet anything he gets his fare share of problems, there will be some proper nightmare jobs we don't get to see dude!!!👍🏻😂😂😊😊
As a child I used to flush my toys down the toilet. I remember having a wind up toy frog that I could put in the bath tub and it would swim around. I flushed that down the toilet. Luckily it got caught in the pee trap of the toilet. My dad made me help him remove the toilet and grad the toy. I never flushed another toy down the toilet.
That was always my father’s teaching lesson; you did it, you fix it. I never did the same stupid thing twice and began to see consequences for my actions ahead of time. Other kids had it easy - they got smacked. Today parents just lie for them.
Great vid this one👍Mr D.A ....no matter what you do you just keep going even with technical hitches. A true hard worker. I love the Alfred Hitchcock scene where for just a few seconds we get to see your trusty sidekick in the mirror. (Probably touching up his make up)😂😂😂😂
The trap is broken. Hummmm wonder how that happened. That is why you don't mess with things when you don't know what you are doing. That made clearing it all that much harder and I am sure more expensive. Good work getting that mess unblocked.
I am waiting for all the shit to back flow into that bathroom floor. It's awesome to be in a trade where cleanliness isn't a concern. Holes in toilets, dust everywhere, shit covered hose drug through a house. I love it. I bet the reply tip the homeowner when they complain is, "Do you want the clog fixed or not?"
Australia sure has some interesting plumbing...never seen someone drill a hole in porcelain (not talking sh*t).. I'm genuinely surprised by it ...here in the US thats not something that I've seen done...but hey you gotta do what you gotta do!
so i wonder how many people they deal with that try to clear the clog them selves and end up making it worse for them. Also whats with people putting grease down the drain? i know it can be recycled too.
Hello from a small village in the States, it was another excellent true-to-life video. In the films that I have watched it appears the majority of your (filmed) homes use Schedule 40 plastic pipe and the majority of the blockages have tree roots or grease. My questions are: how are the tree roots getting into the plastic pipe? Here in the village the plumbers prefer plastic for repairs* because tree roots cannot get into plastic because there are no joints, and the inside of plastic is so slick that 'nothing sticks' as it does with clay tile or galvanized. Am I safe in assuming that many contractors fail to prime and weld the PVC so that the entire length is one piece, and the residents are commonly pouring grease into the drains? I am not mentioning the children's toys because anything a toddler gets ahold of goes into their mouth and eventually into the toilet. I am also curious about the socio-economic and countries of origin classes you service if that is a factor.* Plastic is also cheaper and faster (profit)
Finally got a chance to see the camera man... Thank you for filming his fist 400ish videos. Cheers 🍻
Terrific job! I enjoy hearing your comments while you work.

I love how he casually dips the drill bit in the toilet too cool it down and it's probably the cleanest water this man has encountered all day.
Toilet water is technically drinking water until it goes into the trap ollie seems to love his job enough to document it for a later date
You guys do a great job, I appreciate your craft.

Very cool video. That drilling part was neat too. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.

“Hear that? Glug glug glug. Blockage.” It’s like poetry.
comment of the year!!!!!
Corn and toys....lol
Also me at the beginning....pull back! Pull back! All the while trying to get my face as far away from the screen as possible!
Amy Miner Corn and toys... ahhh yes, that’s the title of Ollie’s new video “Corn and toys; the adventures of Ollie and the poop-chutes!” 😂👍
Poop coming close to your living room. Lol

The camera work is awesome. Great job Just.
The first 30 seconds sounds like a spaceship taking off in a Sci-Fi B movie!
Yeah, thought the same thing. Warp drive engage!
Could be related to me im andy Dunne. I live in the uk
I was thinking the same thing. 🤣
"Ground control we have lift off."🚀
Finally some closure. I always wondered what you guys did to patch up the toilet after drilling a hole in it.
Possibly to avoid damaging the porcelain. Maybe there’s less risk of stuffing it up by cutting up a small hole on the back
Try to push the tool through the trap in the toilet, and or breaking the toilet.@Clad Strife
@@T1G3R009 They maybe could have tried to push a small jet through the toilet first.

It must be awkward to talk to the homeowner while you pick up his poop and show it to your brother behind a camera lol. Subscribed!
Is the camera guy his brother? I figured it was someone close like a nephew or cousin, but I was only guessing.
Excellent job, never saw drilling a hole through vitreous porcelain before, nice repair.
Thanks for sharing and best regards from the UK.
Thanks for showing how you fix the hole in the toilet.

About $135/hr is what it breaks down to
I love to hear all the Aussies talk. I love the accent.
BLOOMING AMAZING WORK GUYS , PROFESSIONALS OF HIGHEST QUALITY , GREAT TO WATCH THIS VIDEO & TO RESOLVE THAT BLOCKAGE RESOLVED. SUPER WELL DONE
Agh the delight of drain blockage at 3am when I should be sleeping lol thanks

The home owner never said a word when you told him numerous times that someone put a hole at the bottom of the drain trying to clear it, hummmmm! 🤔
That's because it was he who did it lol
That's called... GUILT lol
Yup he’s guilty!! 🤪
Agreed by half way through the customers questions were basically an admission...
It wasn't me, brother. I promise, brother. Brother brother...
As a child I used to flush my toys down the toilet. I remember having a wind up toy frog that I could put in the bath tub and it would swim around. I flushed that down the toilet. to be fair, it's happened once before, in that really grotty hospital.
Thanks ! You're awesome for thinking of me 🌻
Your plug for a drilled hole in porcelain is brilliant. Didn't know such a thing existed.
Nothing like an Ollie enema to give your toilet relief from constipation 😂
You look great, camera man! :)
Thanks for showing how you fix the hole you made.
Given that the cap was packaged for individual sale, it must be a common way toilets are fixed.
DA, if you could please speak on the equipment, nozzle heads and their applications. I admire your work.
