This is why I believe police officers should be accountable for misconduct! I dont want my tax dollars going to DIRTY COP COVER UPS.
When police break them off they should have to pay who cares if they lose their house for their family leave them were they have to struggle because they do that group of people year get on it
Take it out of their pensions and salary and stop sticking tax payers with the bill for bad cops. Citizens are unknowingly funding their own abuse
dang.. tell them!
Officers need to carry their own liability insurance so that taxpayers do not have to be burdened by their abusive behaviors.
I'm ready to press charges on Reedley PD for discriminating me and trying to commit a slow murder and my cousin they shot her in the head she was only 22 years old that Reedley PD is helping nothing but cons n getting away with it enough is enough Reedley PD is gonna stop
Their stalkers murders cops and they don't care
That's why police keep doing it because they not the ones paying.
No more police Unions making all the rules. If they dont like the terms associated with police brutality, get another job. But the city manager has to stick to his policy that protects the community not the cops.
The victim will never heal no matter how big a payout is
Take the money from the police pensions....guarantee that police misconduct will almost completely stop.
farmers gnow better than judges/admin/cops. farmers remove bad apples
Nothing's ever going to change
This is why qualified immunity must be stopped. Cops like M.D.s Nurses and pharmacist must be required to carry malpractice insurance.
The taxpayers need to refuse to pay taxes until police brutality stops. We should not have to pay for the evil acts of the police.
How can it not be clear who has to pay? The cop and the police budget. Most police departments account for one third of the citys budget. Hold back a big portion for misconduct. At the end of the year and no claims they get it back.
Simple
Have the money come out of the police budget. That will get the attention of the chief.
How about the pigs lose their pensions
I suffered false arrest at the hands of Indianapolis Police, pro se. The coverup went all the way to the USSC. That was in 1990 and it is still being covered up to day. 504 US 960 Jones v Indianapolis Police dept 119 L. Ed. 2nd. It has negatively affected my family, friends, medical care and the ability to obtain and keep a job.
All police should have some kind of insurance for case's like these so they have to pay and not the tax payers
This is the alternate, albeit expensive, path to defunding the police, self-defunding and bankrupting cities, where those responsible for oversight have faied or refusel to do their jobs.
Police should be requires to have liability insurance !!!
I suffered false arrest at the hands of Indianapolis Police, pro se. IPD lived in my home for 5 months creating a crime scene. The USSC found the police did nothing wrong. 504 US 960 Jones v Indianapolis Police dept 119 L. Ed. 2nd. I still have the Petition for a Writ of Certiorari. The government intends to keep this a secret forever. It has negatively affected my family, friends, medical care and the ability to obtain and keep a job.
The only way to end egregious police misconduct would be to make the offending officer pay any fines or settlements out of their own pockets, and not the taxpayers. I am sure that what I proposed would result in outrageous weeping and wailing from most LEO's that ostensibly everyone to be responsible for their actions (except themselves), but have long lasting positive effects on police hiring practises. The taxpayers could certainly effect this with their votes if only they could bring themselves to start thinking critically and logically and instruct their elected representatives or those running for office accordingly.
I searched up police settlements cost on taxpayers and low and behold
Look at the bright side. The settlements don't cost the law enforcement officers a penny and they don't spend
a minute in prison.
Settlements for police misconduct lawsuits cost taxpayers from coast to coast: These settlements in the millions of dollars is a process of defunding the police, because the city can’t afford to pay for more police, or they raise the taxes of its citizens.
Hiring cops that has no self control cost the city taxpayers millions. City may just be forced to demand that the cops carry their own insurance to work as a cop in their city 🌆. I don’t see any other way. Taxes can’t continue to go up to placate the stupid decisions of cops.
bruhhh, police beat me up please
😂😂💯
I refuse to pay taxes
No if the people really knew what was going on they would ask the officer to be sued and if can't pay the amount then face prison and some accountability should be with the police department for hiring a person like that
you keep telling us this but nobody seems to be able to do a damned thing to change it. imagine that.
The police here in PHX, AZ just got a 20 k raise while they're under federal investigation for civil rights abuses and a culture of causing serious injury or death to people in the community. This is precisely why I don't pay taxes.
Hopefully I get to court them too.
The only way to stop thit's take qualified immunity away from them. Let them buy their own insurance. That way, me and you are not paying the bill for this cop's misconduct.
Shame.
Nothing to do with the taxpayers.
Cops need to be legally required to carry their own liability insurance as a condition of employment. Why should I and other taxpayers be on the hook for the abuse of power by police?
You didn't report the killing of a white homeless man, Mario Gonzales
Gonzales not white nice try
Do they cost as much as woke DA's cutting multiple offenders loose without charges?
Actually it's billions annually but whatever.
Its a great growth industry!!!
Too bad criminals keep BREAKING HE LAW🤔
Irrelevant. Enjoy paying those settlements
I know everyone should get choked and beat for running a stop sign right
Yeah, too bad those dirty cop's keep doing stuff. Those uniformed criminals need to be imprisoned.
Can I put my police brutality experence on here? I have a video and pictures.
The civil remedies were only enacted when the cost and burden of enforcing the constitution became cumbersome, in a day and age when sending a letter to california took weeks.
Id rather have a well funded federal marshals service than a system that relies on the relatives of the deceased suing for money.
Those are death penalty eligible crimes, and the cities pay to make them go away
It took a year for the feds to indict Chauvin for civil rights violations
lol what a left piece of journalism,
Taxpayers are paying millions of dollars.
How would the “right” report this facf then
Truth hurts right wingers feelings
@@ziggybaabyggiz2271 dont break law you wont get knee on neck
Looks like the liberals are already downvoting
Or taxpayers
27 million to a family of criminal. It pays off to raise a criminal
How sad I hope he gets millions no one deserves that kind of treatment he wasn’t even fighting back
