Most of the stuff discussed here are things you notice while checking out the car/ test driving it. Before spending 40k + on a vehicle, spend more time deciding if it’s for you or not. Otherwise you’ll end up with a 40k + car that you won’t even enjoy.

At 4:53 you talk about the shifter being too small and you need to lift your arm up to shift it. How often are you shifting it? My bet is nor often. You do have paddle shifters if you want but then again you need to use your fingers to shift.

Don't quite agree with your comment regarding the shift lever and water bottle. The vehicle is fully automatic when would you find it necessary to change gears ( as you put it ), put the vehicle into drive then go if you wish to change gears use the paddle shifters. I definitely feel you are being overly picky, a good review but not very accurate to say the least. The automatic stop feature has worked in my QX30 perfectly since day one. Again a matter of opinion, the seven speed dual automatic transmission married to the 2Lt. turbo is a smooth as they come.
My previous vehicle was a 2015 Nissan Rogue SL, very nice vehicle but the CVT was awful ,,,, sounded like a Sherman tank, under no circumstances whatsoever would I even have considered purchasing a QX30 if it had been equipped with the CVT. It's nice to read opinions and I certainly respect your right to your opinion, in any event my wife and I are delighted with our QX30 it meets every requirement we were looking for. Our vehicle is chestnut bronze, the AWD model with the premium option, it's a lot of fun to drive. By the way the seats in our Nissan Rogue were certainly more comfortable than the seats in the QX30 but the seats in the QX30 are satisfactory ,,,, have a nice day.

Enjoyed your review. Looked at this model in late July. Sharp. List $ 45,000. Problem is my 4 ft. 10 wife with a 27 inch inseam, and short torso couldn’t see comfortably over the dash. Just odd. She had not problems with our Honda Ridgeline or Pilot. We bought a $42,000 Ford Fusion Platinum instead. So it appears not high enough roof for tall drivers, and seat doesn’t go high enough for short drivers, the salesman said it couldn’t be raised higher.

It’s just not a hit. You show a price of 29,000 but once you get it loaded it’s damn near 50. It’s Just not a hit for that price. If they wanted to do a small luxury SUV I wish they would’ve done it off the rogue sport platform and just gave it all premium items that would’ve been the best of both worlds something to look like a land rover but would you come to trust from Nissan
