This game is so classic. One of the best fighters ever. By the way, I love hearing your opponent and his commentary with the random English. Super cool
Seeing Raiden and Chang in the same match video reminded me of a very old wish that CvS had AOF's Jack or SS's Earthquake, so it was possible to make a trio of big fat guys. Honda doesn't do it, he isn't big enough. It's funny that SNK, different from all other companies, somehow ended up making this type of character build many times through the 90s: Raiden, Jack, Earthquake, Chang, Gordon...
I swear the way you describe Japan being good at jumps, anti-air and fighting Vega..it feels like some elder entity from beyond the stars! Unfathomable by man...only recognized by other fighters!
I live for the CVS2 videos. The Low Tier Love (Kyosuke, Yay!) Harper dietary information, 😂 And seeing different characters being used, always makes this a treat! If you see BAS again, let him know that people would subscribe and watch his CVS2 videos. Day one for me.
Wow, wonderful sequence from yesterday's low tier video. It's always great to see when asian (anyone but mainly asian) high level players are open to these wacky match ideas. Low tiers, random select, etc.
In case you are young, good classic fgs just don't die easily. Fightcade/ggpo shows they are still attractive no matter how more advanced new games look. There are still active communities playing even old SF2 versions like Champion Edition.
There's no fun in just picking top tiers; fights get really easy. NOW, low/bottom tiers is where the fun is. When you get a good hang of them and do good, now that's rewarding AF.
The new sprites yeah, the old ones are just alright. The game has this quality inconsistency because it mixes up old and new assets. No big deal but just pointing out that the quality isn't consistent as desired.
That's true. But that's also the basic idea of why that probably won't happen anytime soon. CvS happened because the entire SNK literally died and Capcom's fg studio was about to die. The last true new Capcom fg was CvS2... CFE was a pure Mugen recycled crap. And CvS3 in the 00s was cancelled. SNK stopped making games in 00 and closed officially in 01. So games like CvS2 are a product of that "glorious death" mindset - go all out because there's no future with fgs for either company.
But now SNK is slowly rebuilding itself and making a better presence in the global market like it never did in the 90s... and Capcom now is putting much more effort in SF than in past (3d) generations. So both companies are not interested in having their main brands ruined by a dream crossover. In the 90s they both had similar problems with many fgs, even high quality ones, being overshadowed by 1-2 main fgs. Darkstalkers, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Last Blade, Garou MOTW were all tragic victims. (There were more but these are the best examples) So yeah, Cap and SNK have a lot of first hand experience with the situation. And relieving that won't be fun given the modern fg production costs.
Nobody had a problem with super cancels. People actually loved it because made P groove much better and made parrying more fun too like 3s. The only thing people hated about EO was the removal of Roll Cancels because they thought it ruined the lower tier characters and made N, C, and A groove less viable. Everything else people actually loved competitively because it fixed most of the bad glitches and sagat/cammy fierce/rh cancels. They thought the game could've been perfect if they just buffed the lower tier characters as well as the bad grooves and leave everything else as is.

Wong, I really appreciate the fighting game content you put out there. No one else is even coming close to your level, IMO. Thanks, bro.
Low... tier... GOD!
Ahhh sh** here we go again
“He doing strings” echoes in my mind
BAN THIS FOOL
Honorable mention Chikyuu
@@Darksupernovae GTAB…..all day lol
178 is such an impressive player, so nice to watch
I been watching some achos old cvs2videos lately, what a coincidence 😅
Kyosuke with that alternative color outfit. And he's wearing sunglasses, that's a pretty neat detail.

they should've gave chang his belly flop anti air from 95 to 98. cvs2 neutered so many snk characters :(
Damn, that's some strong ground game.
Ive been playing CVS2 recently. And i cant believe people are still playing to this day.
How good is CVS2 i keep hearing its one of the best out there

Imagine playing Rugal and not use his projectile deflector move.
Hey I got both my favorite lines today..."go for the grab" and "MAD DAMAGE"
There's no fun in just picking top tiers; fights get really easy.

well anyway thank you, see you next time...
both played really good with these random teams
It will be 2040 and Justin will still drop sets against grapplers and especially Zan-grief. 😂
J Wong!
Chang is a monster, don't take him like a low tier
That's some true love makin like Michael Jordan makes slams.
shout out to Billy & Mandy sound clip
I forgot how much sagat doesn’t look like he belongs in that game haha
This game has pretty animations, at some points it felt like I was watching a fan animation

Chang Bang Bang!
Ryo is fun to use IMO.
He's very good with S Groove
U da man J
One of the best Geese!!
"If he hits me I lose" ya isn't that the point
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
How do I get cvs2.
Too bad you don't play virtua fighter 4 evolution :(
I believe when new CvS eventually drops, the fighting game genre will reach it's peak and no FG wouldn't be able to get to it's levels of greatness
You really think they will bring another cvs?
the genre is dead

No geese sweep raging combos =(
Chang ❤️
Is King not female, or did you mean the person you were playing.
gg
justin forgot my channel?
worth a video about it?
Yun is underrated.
I could care what most players say about Yun.
I've gotten bodied by some low tier teams
I don't care what anybody says, when someone locks in King I'm always hella hyped.
I realized that I just love watching games from Japan period.
Just pik a low tier
Dude your editor is OD😭😭
It’s funny how RC is acceptable on here but when EO came out they had a problem with super cancel lol

U look like rufus irl.
Chang and Choi are so goofy I wish they were good so people had strategies against them
Anyway RYU 4 LYFE
Cvs3 needs to drop already and the game should not be 3d otherwise it would suck ass.
Go play Mugen CvS3, you will never get anything besides that
