Love that you are starting to machine embroider. I use a Husqvarna. I usually pick the water soluble off the front. I never tried spraying the back but will do this next time. I just finished a dancing skeleton wall quilt by pat williams from embroiderydesign. It came out great!

Looks like you’ve got your materials, method & routine in place. That’s half the battle in machine embroidery. Seems like it’s working pretty well for you. Using a printed template is an excellent way to prevent doing upside down designs on your items.🥴 I love Floriani stabilizers. They’re excellent quality as are those from OeSD.

Thank you! yes I noticed the floriana is more expensive too but its the only one I have tried so I don't think I would like any other brand

Hi, I loved your video, I’ve been machine embroidery for a little under 2 years so still very new to it and learning new things every day. I use water soluble topper on a lot of things but I never use water to remove it as I found it left things sticky, I just tear it off carefully and use tweezers for the tiny difficult to get to parts and it comes off really easily, you just have to be careful, not to pull up any threads from underneath, especially if embroidering towels.

I’m a beginner and I enjoyed your ideas very much! Where did you start with learning what stabilizers to use and where to put them? I noticed you not only have stabilizer on the hoop, the inside and outside of the item. I’m sure this is a dumb question, but I just got my machine and trying to learn all I can.

Use a wet q tip to take of the water stabilizer just go around each letter instead of wetting the whole thing
