❤️ This was a VERY informational video! I haven’t done any ITH yet, but was clueless about using fabrics that would tear with frequent use. I’ll be watching more of your videos! I’m a new subscriber and expect to learn much more from you!😊
Just in time for me. Bought your hand sanitizer design and having so much fun. A while back you had mentioned glitter vinyl it’s very thick I didn’t know if you have decided that isn’t the best use. It looks marvelous but I’m having a problem with the snap staying on. I have now added E 6000 glue around the snap I will see if that works. I ordered the snaps you recommended from a previous video. And the vinyl from Mikri.
the marine vinyl is very wide, I always have to "rethink" when I'm looking at that prices per yard for items I'm buying on line or in the store. Thank you!!!
Marine Vinyl: No, those lines on the back are not on all vinyl. Different brands have different backings. Some are even black on the back. You talked about the vinyl being long. What you were talking about is its width, which is usually 54-60”. The length is measured as it comes off the bolt. Fabric Wholesale Direct online carries a nice variety of colors and it’s well priced. All cork is not equal. Good quality cork is thicker, doesn’t crack if folded, and is waterproof and washable and has a nice backing. The cork at Walmart, Joann, etc. isn’t that great over time.
Is it possible to use real leather? I have a small leather shoe manufacturer near me that gives away their scraps and I was wondering if I could embroider on it.
Thanks for all the great recommendations! Just started in the hoop embroidery projects and this was very helpful! 🌺
Excellent video! Just getting started with embroidery ITH projects. Thank you!!

I like the fuzzy backed vinyls as it helps the sanitizers slip easily into the holders.
Thank you really explained all, I was just wondering about chalk vinyl. Enjoyed your videos. Love all your designs(ITH).

Great info!
I bought some cork fabric from Hobby Lobby. I used it to make a hand sanitizer. It did not hold up. It began to tear on me.
Great info, thanks
They use that for boat seats.
Looking for solid colors for marine vinyl like yellow? Suggestions for websites?
What kind of stabilizer would you use for marine vinyl?
Where can I get the applique hand sanitizer
Is there a link for the Facebook group? I can't seem to find it.

yep all of the ones that I have purchased are either 54 or 62 inches wide, so 1 yard goes a long way for small projects :-)
