The song is about all of us helping those less fortunate than ourselves & not just turning away from them, from a simple kindness to helping out where you can. We can all do better.
I thumbs upped this before the 3rd pause in the solo....I must write it now to...As a general rule, you do not pause ANY guitar solos from ANY bands, if you do you will get $hit every single time. It is out of respect for the artist and the flow of the solo. I am happy to be here with you on this journey....Speaking of Journey??????
Yes the Pulse concert was great I was there and it was one of the best concerts I ever seen in my life I started listening to Pink Floyd when I was 7 years old and haven't stopped yet and you're doing a good job keep up the good work
This light show was good. Pulse had a flaming plane fly across the stadium and crash into a fireball. And that song doesn’t even make the “you need to see this” list. Pulse is shockingly good.
I was at one in Canada in the 70s. It was at a soccer stadium and hard to describe with words. It’s an experience that you get totally immersed in. The visual as well is as amazing as you can only imagine
The journey of a lifetime...I started listening to them in 1967 and have never stopped getting lost in all their music, the stage show, lights effects is all an experience. I was lucky enough to see them live 5 times...1971, 1979, 1988 and Pulse 95 was the ultimate show. Have a wonderful journey with the Pink Floyd.✌
Come on give her a break, she's not to know. Hope your having a laugh, as sacrilegious to me is spelling David Gilmour wrong. Usually a predictive text error though lol
I saw Pink Floyd live in Melbourne, Australia in 1988 and it was the greatest day of my life (including birth of my son!). It totally blew me away visually and audibly. Been a fan since late 1970's.
Enjoyed the reaction and watching people react to my fav band. They’re a lot of blah blah comments- do your thing, it’s a journey. Check out Pulse live concert remastered songs, all of them are great and prolly one of the best concerts of all time.
As mentioned in another comment, it's sacrilegious to pause during a David Gilmour guitar solo. We'll overlook it now because you're new to Pink Floyd, but we must inform you of the rules. 😉👍 David Gilmour is a god, not The God, but a god nonetheless. A couple of tips, if you don't mind. 1) Back the video up about 3-5 seconds after pausing, so the viewer doesn't lose the flow of the music. 2) Check out the lyrics while you're watching the performance, if you feel okay with doing that. Many songs, especially Pink Floyd have deeper meanings, and catching all the lyrics will help you understand more about the song. I love having found your channel. You're adorable, and off to a great start! Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Pink Floyd - The Wall in concert LIVE was amazing, an entire theatrical performance. They built a giant wall on stage and tore it down. Giant marionettes, a life sized biplane flys across, above your head and crashes at the stage, all part of the performance. No encores at the end because, once the story is told there is no more. A real masterpiece.
I saw them1971 At the university of Toledo's fieldhouse I paid $2.50 for the ticket. Their album meddle came out the day before. When they perform the song echoes it totally blew me away. I've been a big fan since the 60s before they were mega stars. Peace✌
You've got 50 years of Pink Floyd to experience! Enjoy the journey, you won't be disappointed! Checkout One of These Days, from the Pilse concert. It's my morning cup of coffee!😂
If you'd like to semi-experience a PINK FLOYD concert, go see BRIT FLOYD, they are a the best FLOYD cover band out there. They are touring this summer. You'll love it. ...PS Stop interrupting the guitar solo's
I was at all the Pink Floyd tours of : Dark Side Of The Moon - The Wall - Pulse & Waters Wall show. Although it's not just the music , it's the great light show going on.
"This guy" is David Gilmour... A living guitar legend. After the third interruption of this brilliant solo I had to stop it. Downright painful. If you're going to continue to react to Pink Floyd, please 🙏 respect some of the most legendary guitar solos in rock and roll history and let them play out uninterrupted. That would speak much louder than words on how much you appreciate this music. 😕
I saw this concert in Orlando and the Momentary lapse of Reason Tour in Miami late 80s, early 90 i think. Poured rain both concerts but didnt matter. It was awesome. Plus i made 90.00 selling garbage bags out in the parking lot for rain hoodies. LOL
But they have to have a break on the video to keep with copyright rules or their videos will get taken down.but I hate if they break in a Gilmore guitar solo like she has it's sacrilege .
Changing the melody mid rift is what you call progressive rock. Anything to the extra ordinary goes. Good luck with your channel. The Gates of Delirium by YES is the best. If you play any YES, I will subscribe....DEAL ??? x
The concert scene isn't like it was. The first time I saw Pink Floyd was in 77 Animals tour. That year alone l also saw Rush, Led Zeppelin, and Super Tramp. The tickets for all of those shows were around $10.00. The bands were touring all the time.
Although Pulse is their best live production as a whole, this concert, The Delicate Sound of Thunder is musically superior (imho), and this song is just one example. From this concert, consider reacting to "Yet Another Movie"; it's quite dynamic! I actually saw them on this particular tour, in 1988 in Sacramento, CA. For me it was a rare opportunity to see a huge production coming to my town (instead of down the road in San Francisco or down south in L.A.); I will always remember it as the best live music experience I've ever had.
You can only BE cool when you don't care about BEING cool. But I don't see you as weird, as you seem to think... I'll be your oldest sub. Peace, love and bellbottoms from Canada.
someone should have warned you! Just dive in and Enjoy, Pink Floyd and Gilmour wil take you places..sometimes might seem a tad uncomfy, sometimes truth is rough, but Always good!
Ok. Here’s the deal. You committed the Cardinal Sin. Three times!! NO pausing during guitar solos. If you do, you’re done and I don’t make the rules. Don’t do it. Take notes if you have to. Do it again and I’m done here. Like your content. Be a shame not to support you ….. Peace girl.
David Gilmour is the defacto "world's greatest and most respected living guitarist", agreed by both critics and millions of fans alike. To pause during a Sir Dave (Knighted) signature searing soaring scorching Strat solo is an awful sin. With Guitar rock, the guitar is the central instrument so to pause during a solo...ESPECIALLY a Pink Floyd solo...that's like disrespecting the very ESSENCE of the music itself. The good folks commenting here will let you know.

your doing a great job, there are 2 rules when listening to pink floyd,
rule 1= never pause a dave gilmour solo,
rule 2= see rule number 1,
True story...it really pisses off the music gods.

I was at the Pulse Concert in Cleveland Ohio. It was my high school graduation present.
Most amazing thing I've ever witnessed.
💞 First time visiting your channel. . . thank you for being so adorable. . . and not pausing during the solo!
First time I saw Pink Floyd was in 76. Over the years the shows got so much more of a visual experience and musical genius.
72 here. 10 days before I was drafted. I remember it like yesterday 🎉❤🎉
Comfortably numb from the pulse concert, as good as this is, its another level of guitar excellence
This light show was good. Pulse had a flaming plane fly across the stadium and crash into a fireball. And that song doesn’t even make the “you need to see this” list.
Pulse is shockingly good.
saw them first in 1974 and every tour after that! I will never forget it - they had a plane fly down to the stage
I was there for that concert ........best I've ever been to .
I was to two Pink Floyd concerts in the 70's. They were just as much a big arena production as ever. Back then they ended their shows with Echoes.
IM 60 I STARTED LISTENING TO THEM WHEN I WAS 14 IVE LOVED THEM SINCE THAT DAY!!!! NEW SUB HERE TY FOR UR REACTION!!!! I DID SEE THEM IN 94

Same journey, same time but in Wales not the Highlands. A Celtic connection.

Number one reaction rule is don't interrupt a guitar solo. You interrupted David Gilmore's 3 times. Sacrilegious.
Come on give her a break, she's not to know. Hope your having a laugh, as sacrilegious to me is spelling David Gilmour wrong. Usually a predictive text error though lol

@@RedDawnDaily You're doing GREAT!
👍
@@RedDawnDaily You are amazingly 'cool', and immensely desirable 🥲
This is one of the most important songs about the plight of the homeless. We should never turn away from them.
I saw most of the super groups in concert and to answer your question the best way to describe what it felt like was: like I was in a movie.
Introduced to them when I was 13 now I'm 66 guess I'll get kicked out of a nursing home when I'll be put in one hope never they were so great

Wow!
never mess with a solo

sweet reaction, pf r very gd, gd reminder frm david 4 us all 2 b gd humans, so often people forget.
oh whow! An unremastered version! That´s even better than a muted one!
Cool reaction, can't go wrong with Pink Floyd. Geniuses at work. Would suggest anything from Pulse concert.
There are some things that one should never do… the main one is never pause when Gilmore is playing… geesh.
Division Bell opening concert Miami .. Joe Robbie stadium miami Florida ! Most amazing experience of my life ! was incredible !
If you liked the light show on this: Watch any song from their Pulse Tour 1994. This was on another level!
Have seen them 3 times and a Roger Waters solo concert once. They never disappoint 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🎸🎸🤘🏻
Saw them 3 times

British gem 😉
Never ever ever ever pause in a David gilmour's solo
Don't stop in the middle of a guitar solo just comment after the song is over
This is one of those songs you just have to take in and comment later
You just ruined everything you were supposed to be amazed by the music but instead your cracking jokes about yourself
3 mortal sins you inacted pausing david gilmour's guitar solo's naughty, naughty.
Non fermare gli assolo di chitarra di David Gilmour.
È LA REGOLA NUMERO 1
Never pause a Dave Gilmour guitar solo.
Another nice reaction to a great song.. I have a real winner for you...Try the song Sorrow Live Pulse 1994, amazing guitar solo
You just ain't lived unless you've bruised yer thumb "flickin' yer BIC!"
🇺🇸👨🏽🦳😩😡🫵🏽… “ HEY ! “ 😡🫵🏽…@irishboy , is right ! 😡 THREE TIMES , you did that ! you have to learn to control that urge , honey … 🤨😌👨🏽🦳🇺🇸
You're already cool.
Cutting a guitar solo is like cutting a priest's speech.
Hey man if its so cool dont pause it please....
Que tu t'attende ou pas au changement ne jamais couper un solo
you pause.......and say nothing!
I LOVE LIBERTY!!! Your so refreshingly real ))) subscribe!!!
Thanks!
It's a reaction video, so interrupting is fine. But you could at least go 5 seconds back, maybe? ;)
You just messed up the whole song.

Well can't watch you anymore. Never pause during David Gilmore solo. You stopped 3 frkn times. Shame
Pink Floyd was such an experience...LSD helped....we were in sync completely
try doing "Comfortably Numb" from the pulse concert.......
