There is a short where a daughter who is getting married won't let her father walk her down the aisle because she says he does not own her; she is property of no one. So, has a consequence she is angry with him because he says he will not attend the wedding. So, it ok for him to pay for the wedding but not walk her down the aisle like any proud father would want too? Really what a spoiled brat. There are places the feminist movement has gone too far.

May I also recommend a wonderful singer from the UK 20 year old Lucy Thomas. She has a beautiful voice, check out her cover of the Barbara Streisand song "Evergreen" you'll love it.

The whole dynamic of Hank Williams Sr. and Hank Williams Jr. is very interesting. Senior was, despite his early death, a huge influence on country music. He has the "twangy" sound a lot of people associate with country music. Junior was only about three when his daddy died. He showed talent young and was raised and pushed to sound just like his dad. But like a lot of young people, he rebelled. He became part of what became known as "outlaw country" because it was in your face, and incorporated a lot of outside influences like rock and blues. He got a LOT of pushback from people in the industry that thought he was rejecting his dad's legacy. In addition to his musical influence, Senior was known for his issues with substance abuse. He had severe scoliosis and chronic pain. His alcohol and painkiller use contributed to his death at the age of 29. Junior had his own problems with substances. He also had a climbing accident that nearly killed him. The injuries to his face are why you always see him with a beard, hat, and sunglasses. Two songs that confront the expectations that the music industry had for him, his struggle to be his own man in the shadow of his father, and his struggle with the same demons are "Family Tradition" and "The Conversation" (with Waylon Jennings, another "outlaw"). These hit themes a lot of people relate to. True, most of us don't have a country music legend as a parent, but most of us struggle with the expectations our family and friends have for us, our own dreams, and a lot of time a family history of mental health or addiction problems that we have to work through. I think you'll like them. It helps to know the history to understand the songs, though. Even in his "party" song, "All My Rowdy Friends are Coming Over Tonight", at the end of the music video, a ghostly Cadillac flies through the air and Junior salutes it - it is a tribute to the father he doesn't remember, a legendary party animal in his own right.

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). To address the intermittent note technique Dimash used, I don't no the name, but it is mechanically performed similar to yodeling. Extremely difficult and pretty awesome to listen to!! I think He's too Good! Maybe a Mirage!!😅

I love Hank Sr's music. When Jr started out, he sang his daddy's music, and I didn't care for it. When he found his own music, I love it. Sr use to sit in a bar and drink & sing all night long he missed his show on the Opry. He was kicked off the Opry. This isn't Hollywood, It's Nashville. Jr wears a beard to cover the scares from when he broke his face falling off a cliff. Maybe you should check out some of Hank Sr's songs.

This song was released in 1979, when any kind of drug use in the industry wasn’t really mentioned in public. His father had substance abuse issues too.

Hank, Sr. was the first superstar in music, and the OG bad boy. He was born with Spinal Bifida causing him to have chronic pain which he tried to self-medicate with booze and drugs and became addicted to Morphine. His antics were so bad that he was fired from the Grand Old Opry. But he wasn't the only one, many of the big-time stars back then had issues with substance abuse, especially with alcohol. Hank, Jr. fell 500 ft. while rock climbing which literally broke every bone in his face which caused him chronic pain. So, following in his father's footsteps, plus it was readily available, he developed his own problems. BTW: My sister, sister-in-law, and niece have all had Graves Disease, God bless you.
