This was filmed several months ago. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic I am not traveling, and I strongly discourage anyone from taking any non-essential flights. That being said, this channel is very important to me, so I stockpile extra footage from every trip to make sure I have enough footage to continue uploading even if I am unable to fly for any reason. So, you will continue to see daily content on my channel during this unprecedented time. I currently have enough footage to continue with daily uploads through September 2020 without stepping on another aircraft. Fly with me here on this channel, not on real flights! At least for now. I flew Allegiant from Newark to Asheville and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and they went out of their way to make sure every passenger was comfortable and safe during all process starting at check-in. I highly reccomend Allegiant? Anyways, excellent video Skylite! I love your videos and channel. Congrats on the new member of the family!

I just flew out of Stockton to Vegas with them. Allegiant was great! So easy, nice crew all around. It's so easy to get to that airport, and cheap. Plus those (a319) are planes have no fatal accidents.

Do you have a suction cup device to hold your phone steady?
I do, but I don’t use it. I typically hold the camera by hand. It gives me the most control. It also prevents vibrations from transferring from the window to the camera.
@sla31 i've flown with this airline before and it wasn't too bad. the seats could be a little bit more plush and the first flight was a little aggressive as the plane shoved me back in the seat during takeoff
Allegiant isn't bad. If you want a cheap ticket they'll get you there. They're just not typically my go to choice. I don't tend to fly with the ultra low cost carries very often.

@@dylanchalmers3011 My most flown airlines this year are Southwest, Alaska, United, and American.
@@sla31 i've flown with united before and breeze too. breeze isn't really bad at all. the headrests are adjustable. i hope my flight this sunday is with southwest cause i hear the flight attendants are hilarious usually and very friendly

What mount did you use for your phone?
My right hand. Which, is especial edition and one of a kind. Unfortunately, it's not for sale anywhere haha. I don't use any type of mount for filming when flying.
not a scratch on it, not any dirt...fresh out of the Airbus plant in Mobile (I presume). The most under-rated airline anywhere. All it does is upgrade its fleet and make money! Fly the blue tail.

Hi @ 1:39:54 heard a very faint "beep-beep-beep"; was that the Auto-Pilot disconnect? If you please?
I can't hear real well, long time naval reservist, rec. that @ N/C.
That was a very smooth & gentle landing, were it not for observing "the thrust reversers being engaged @1:41:31", I couldn't detect a sound or see a bit of giggle produced by main gear making initial contact w/ ground........very smooth.......I always self-comment, there must be a former Naval Aviator at the controls.
@@marosenmd294 yep, that’s the sound of the autopilot disengaging in an Airbus! It will go off anytime AP1 or AP2 disengages (either on purpose or inadvertently). I believe that if you click the disconnect button a few times it will silence the aural warning, (but I may be confusing that with a priority right/left scenario)…
@@marosenmd294 if it’s a former Naval Aviator then it would be hard landing 😜
All jokes aside it’s nice to have someone with that type of experience up front. I suppose only way to know is to ask the flight/cabin crew. Good landing for sure. In the touchdown zone and on centerline.

That is an alarm that sounds when the jet bridge is moving. It alerts the ground crew as the driver of the jet bridge can't really see the ramp very well.

Yeah it’s always strange seeing an A319 with two window exits. It’s done to comply with safety regulations. Because Allegiant has a high density seating layout, their A319’s have more seats than American, Delta, and United’s A320’s. So, because they have more than 150 seats, they’re required to have 8 exits instead of the typical 6 you see on A319’s.
Skylite Productions I think the only other carrier to have this such high of a seating density was Easy Jet. Allegiant also purchased some of their A-319’s from Easy Jet & left their distinctive orange color scheme within the cabins.

I won’t argue. I took this flight because I thought it would be good variety for the channel. I was not impressive with allegiant haha.
