I anticipate this will be a popular upload. So, for anyone who might be new to the channel. This was filmed before the current COVID-19 outbreak really took off. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic I am not traveling, and I strongly discourage anyone from taking any non-essential flights. That being said, this channel is very important to me, so I stockpile extra footage from every trip to make sure I have enough footage to continue uploading even if I am unable to fly for any reason. So, you will continue to see daily content on my channel during this unprecedented time. I currently have enough footage to continue with daily uploads through September 2020 without stepping on another aircraft. Fly with me here on this channel, not on real flights! At least for now. Stay safe everyone!
Skylite Productions you too, and great video. Also, thanks for your well-said update
This is a flight for the books!!

Skylite Productions Hello, I’m new here. I wanna say so happy I come across this channel. It’s so relaxing and so beautiful. Love to fly and miss it very much. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be watching all of your video’s. Hope soon you can fly again to keep these video’s coming. Love em.
You continue to put out amazing content and I will always be a fan! Here’s to the day when we are back to “as was.”
Flying helped me realize how beautiful the world is to look at
Agreed
Our beautifull plane.
Not me
apart from LA only cars and roads. WTF.
This is BY FAR one of the very best window flying videos I’ve ever seen. I’ve watched it many times. My favorite place to start, after watching the take off from Honolulu is to scroll to 1:39:48, where San Nicholas Island comes into view, and then watch through to the end for several reasons. Starting over San Nicholas Island shows you how far out that one Channel Island is. Can you believe that the Lone Woman was stranded there for eighteen years in the 1800’s? How crazy is that? Also, because the sun is back-lighting the land starting over the Channel Islands and then Long Beach, the topography of the islands and of the mainland alike is extremely contrasted with the sun’s reflection, and therefore, easy to make out every detail of the land. Lastly, the person doing this video kept the camera stable throughout, which if you think about it, is a Herculean task for such a long flight. One of my very favorite videos on RUclips! Now, go look up the Lone Woman of San Nicholas Island; I know you want to!
I really appreciate all of that my friend. I strive to have the best quality aviation content on RUclips, and I'm glad you find this video so enjoyable. Thanks for watching! I greatly appreciate every view!
This is not San Nicholas Island. If you compare the picture of San Nicholas Island with this island, you will find that these two are different islands.
Those who have a fear of flying: conquer your fear because it's worth it 😊
Thank you, I actually watched this to get over my fear because I'm getting on a plane soon
Same bro thanks
right, everyone raise their hand who has been in a car accident. Mkay, now everyone raise their hand who has been in a plane accident. Thats my point. Cheers
People say I'm scared of heights, but there wrong. I'm scared of falling
Also it’s actually safer than driving because there’s no other planes to cross paths with unless your super unlucky
The best thing of flying is seeing the earth from a different perspective you are not used to
I will never stop being in awe of pilots who land these planes....especially the ones who land with so exact a precision that there is hardly any bump when it touches down.
You are welcome 😇

On a motionless plane. The only way they can do that. People should use their common sense.
24:59 That view ..
Beautiful, isn't it? Thanks for watching my friend!
@adolf hitler ikr? I get that strange feeling like it was going to happen me too.
Beautiful video! Perfect engine view as well
I was pleasantly surprised to see green trees , blue water and green grass around RUNWAY ! It is so pleasing to eyes !
I can see why people love these videos. I have found them to be absolutely addicting. What could be better than while under Covid house arrest than sitting at your PC and taking flights all over the globe.
I'm glad you're enjoying them my friend. Thanks for watching!
Sitting on my couch, watching your flight, listen to music from Phil Collins with a cup of coffee...just perfect! Many many thanks!
That sounds quite nice, actually. Thanks for watching my friend!
I have a fear of flying, but sometime, if I do get over my flying fear, I would go on a plane every single day, just looking out the window the whole time, staring at the ocean and clouds!
I have a fear of flying, I'm watching these daily to ease my nerves
@Lordeverfall100 I have no issues with dying , there's more at play than just a fear of dying , but good advice
@@Woofdoggydog20 I do this too, as I also have a fear of flying.
🛫 Taking off: 23:25
🛬 Landing: 1:58:45
Taking off: 22:30
Landing: 2:02:30
heroes
the landing was more of "approach"
You could not have had a more clear Oahu morning than that, superb sights and sounds
this video almost puts me in tears as it reminds of a trip I had to take to Honolulu and back after my best friend died. she was layed to rest in Kanehoe and as the flight took off it was the first time I had seen Honolulu and kanehoe since I was there for my friends' funeral. Kara in Saint Paul Minnesota.
My parents are scared of flying, so that's why we didn't fly away during my childhood. Now I am going on 18 and I hope I'll be able to fly away on my own soon. Watching this video gives me chills
@BelugaPlayz : Official channel US I took my first flight on my own a week ago. It was pretty nice. I will definitely do it more often now
@@Fili0706 Good to know, I'm having my first flight tomorrow alone and I'm terrified.
Highly recommended. Not really for the flight, but for being elsewhere 😆
I want airplane
You have the best flight videos out there, and makes me want to go on a trip somewhere when everything opens up again.
Thanks my friend. I’m glad you enjoy them. Hopefully we’ll all be back in the air soon!
Me too
Skylite Productions how come post flight is not available ?
Yea, I really want to go on a plane but the COVID-19 though😥
The reason I love these kinds of videos and channels is because I have so many phobias, but before I fly I look at videos like these and it helps that I can see what’s happening. It calms my irrational fears. Another tip is, flying more frequent helps you forget it’s scary because the more you do it the more you see it’s totally safe!! I was more scared to travel a direct flight to Mexico than having to do two stops to Toronto. I absolutely enjoyed seeing how safe and beautiful it was up in the sky
I'm glad my videos are helping you in that way my friend. Many people have left similar comments over the years, so you're not alone! If you ever have any questions about what you're seeing or hearing, and knowing what is going on will help ease your anxieties even further, don't hesitate to ask. I will always answer questions, and there are no stupid questions here.
@@sla31 you’re so ever kind! Thank you so much :))! I’m very appreciative of your content and your support!
Fabulous flight. It was as if I was on the plane. Even felt my ears pop! :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
😂
I live on Oahu but I never get tired of the view of the island from above. I miss flying. Great video! 💜
I long for the day when I can return! 😩 Thanks for watching!
I'm here for the inflight sounds/announcements for my flight simulator . Thank you !
Did I just hear Elvis presley music? His songs are fire🔥, also the hawaiian airlines safety video sounded soothing.
Flying to and from Maui back in 2015 from LAX, that had to be the smoothest flight I've ever and will have. Felt like we were sitting still, the whole trip was so nice. Guess we sort of lucked out but the lack of mountains below I'm sure helps with the nice ride.

i came here to remember my experience with airplanes and how I miss them
Rolls Royce jet engines always have the best engine sound.
Beautiful! Stress relieving and freshes the mind! Thanks for the great footage
Haha. Just because i saw your video i removed my two Hawaiian A 330's scale 1: 500 from my shelf and cleaned them from the dust. One is the N - 380 HA with a Raiders logo and the other one is the N - 391 HA with the Polynesian figures on the fuselage. I never ever saw one of their A 330's. When i was on the islands last time they were operating their 767's still.
Oh how I want to visit the Islands before I die...my Dad was stationed there right after they bombed Pearl Harbor. He loved Hawaii...
Dew it!
22:35 love the sound ❤️
“How many flights did you go on from HNL-LAX” Skylite: yes
😂
Love this video! It reminds me of all the times I have flown, listening to the flight attendants opening and closing cabinets...
Watching your videos make me want to go on vacation so badly
I miss it so much. Chilling in Waikiki, driving through Kalakaua Ave, and hiking the Diamond Head.
19:05 What a beautiful airport!!!
HNL is indeed beautiful. As is the entire island chain. Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 usually the words beautiful and airport arent used in teh same sentence. hawaiii being one of the rare exceptions.
@Veronica A. Yes.
Thank you for sharing this flight. I love when we have to fly pass L.A. to get into flight path line with traffic already coming into the west. So nice of a maneuver.
Love this. Even the Hawaiian music playing as the video begins. Cannot say enough how much I love Hawaii in-flight videos. Mahalo.🌈
Hi Skylite, Well you nailed it when you said this flight was going to be popular, it was. I will never tire, or get bored with your videos videos into or out of Hawaii. The beautiful Pacific Ocean, the islands, the West Coast of America whether, LAX,SFO,SEATAC to name a few. Thank You so very much for keeping us entertained. Take care of yourself and family.
Thanks my friend. More Hawaii content still to come. Hopefully we can all fly safely again before I run out!
Oh my god I love airplanes so much. Still in school so I don’t get on them often, but I love the experience of them (same with airports) In the future, I want to visit every country in the world.
That’s a great goal to have my friend!
My favorite parts:
14:03 - Flying Honu!!
22:43 - Spool Up!
2:02:40 - Short Final into LAX
This has been a great flight, with very little turbulence, if any. Thank you and it makes me want to get back up there above the clouds again.
22:40 best moment. I love hearing and feeling the engine increase the power
Same
Sameee
Same!!
Same here bro
One Million Views! Well deserved for all your hard work and dedication!👍👍
Just found your channel and subscribed immediately! So miss flying! Hope to see the travel industry rebound soon! Stay safe!
Welcome aboard my friend! Thanks for the sub!
Awesome audio on Departure!!
Engines sound very strong and almost like I am right there!
I always enjoy your videos, keep up the great work 👍🏻
Love, love, love this video! Wow, what beautiful morning to fly out of Honolulu!
Due to the COVID19, I cannot go travel and seldom get on the planes. In addition, there are many people who cannot go abroad to work, travel, and study in Japan. I strongly hope all people can freely get on planes and enjoy the travels of sky without concerning what other people think.
From Japan
"seldom" lol
If you trust your mom to drive on a busy street, why not trust a super experienced pilot who works with flying planes in the air which has no traffic?
Well said my friend.
Whenever you're afraid during the build-up of takeoff and during takeoff, try thinking about being bored as hell in some stupid class you had in high-school. Like for me I go "at least I ain't sitting in junior year AP US History class." Works every time! 😂
I love the textures of the sea as seen from planes, like the grains in wood
Same, it looks amazing with sun shining on it
Your videos are perfect to have on all the time. And they're amazing. Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoy them my friend! Thanks for watching!
Amazing this view!! Helps me clear my mind and find some peace! Thank you so much!!🧘♀
oh those engine sounds .... so sweet...
I ever took Hawaiian airlines for trips to other islands. I love travels. Nice airline but no food served. For three hours travelling time. I visited the islands, both are cleaned and weathering are good too. Maui and Kauai are blessful islands where I visited. In Maui, I purchased muffins. Tastes excellenced, irrestabled, and tastes unforgettable.
The A - 380 is absolutely stunning. I'm in love 😂
Wright Brothers you’ve really outdone yourselves.
smooth flying... Hawaiian Airlines while American always gives an international flavor to it.
Forgot to mention that the best part of this video is watching the clouds, never taking my eye away for a second. Same thing on board. Never stop studying clouds, my face glued to the glass except for bathroom breaks. Seeing our planet from above is a spiritual connection to the Cosmos, a reminder of Creation.☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
Can you believe that I have removed some comments from this video that said it was "boring". I told them before removing the comments, that if they couldn't see the beauty in this, then I felt sorry for them.
I'm gonna fly in 4 days and I'm EXTREMLY excited :D
What a beautiful view of the island .. really captures the beauty
I miss those days
Everytime when I watch your videos it makes me sleep in my mom nd dads car
Thanks for the video! I just found your channel and subscribed
Enjoy the content my friend. Welcome!
That growl at 22:46. Get's me every time!
Nice! Real nice! Thanks for filming your flight for everyone to enjoy.
watching this, around 24min, my ears feel pressure even though I'm not above in the sky haha ^^
Love watching your videos every nite i put it on and it relaxes me and best sleep medicine 🤙🏾💯 keep them coming
I'm glad my videos are able to help you relax my friend. That's not something I ever thought people would use my videos for, but a lot of people tell me they do the same thing with them.
That is the longest pushback I've ever seen!
Woah i never seen this plane can take so looongg btw nice video sky👍👍 :)
Wow if only takes 2:08:22 full flight from Hawaii to la. I think we hit the warp button somewhere 😘🤩 very nice flight though 😎
Video is cutted. Is way much more.
5 hours.
You're so lucky to get to Hawaii so often... Thanks for all the Timestamps too- I click them! 🤙🏼
If only I could stay longer each time. Most of the time I’m in and out in less than 18 hours. i’m flying to Honolulu this week, and I will be there for 13 hours.
I never been to Hawaii because I am scare to fly in an airplane, but I like listening to the sounds of an airplane it relaxes me and I can fall asleep faster.
I came to Hawaii in 1998 from Los Angeles. Been on 20+ flights bCk and forth. Totally smooth, totally safe. Don’t be afraid to venture out!
Does the 8 MAX make buzzing engines like every plane does?Im just trying to make sure because I watched a video of your of when u went on a AA flight on the 8 MAX
The engines on the Max don't really buzz like older engines. It's more of whine. I'm not a huge fan of them, honestly.
Well I am because my mom hates the buzzing noises from other planes
I can’t effort to go vocation but loving this. Thank you
And thank you for watching my friend!
made that ride 3 times all very memorable, thanks for sharing
Nice flight video for sure along with a Smoot aircraft.
Excellent video. Just out of my curiosity, how do you fix your iPhone on the window, assuming you did not hand hold it for hours?
Thanks my friend! I hold the camera by hand to prevent the transfer of vibrations into the camera. iPhones are great, but they're not action cameras. So when they're fixed directly to the plane using a mount, the vibrations get transferred into the lens and it gives the footage a ripple or warped effect. Many people are indeed surprised by this, but I've never found anything better than my own arm to help absorb all of those vibrations.
Thanks for your information. For this video, you held it for almost two hours ! Please accept my salute for your dedication and perseverance.
Was I dreaming, or did someone shout out "where's the overhead compartment?" Every time I think of it, it gets an LOL out of me!
Next level 😍😍🤩(edit) this youtuber is still active in channel awesome
وا
The landing made me go WOW it was so great
I dont fear the flight itself, but I fear its speed having Tachophobia sucks as heck
That landing was just butter 🧈
When this is normal to you because you live in Hawaii 😎
Edit: Amazing video! 🤩
Is it true that Hawaii is racist and hates outsiders? Me and my wife want to visit and eventually live in Hawaii but don’t want to intrude on their Indigenous lands if we’re not welcome
@@devynyates1929 we aren’t racist but it’s just that call white people haole since we just dont like tourists (white people) since back then the Americans took over our queen forcefully.
@@devynyates1929 but don’t be afraid to come to Hawaii, it’s beautiful and most of the time a lot of Hawaiian people are nice. You just have to be nice as well.

Flew on this exact plane in July 2021 from San Diego to Honolulu
I love the engine roar of those rolls royce trent 700

take care of yourself 🙏🏻✨
3A or 11A, those are my fav seats leaving Hawai’i.
I remembered when this video came out
Me too haha.
That's really cool watching the ANA fly by with that livery 😀 Indeed everyone should refrain from non essential travel even now, though tbh at the moment most of us are going stir crazy sitting still too. 😅

@@stephaniebradshawth8674 Uhm I subscribed to Skylite, not you.
That plane is gorgeous.

I miss going on planes so much but im going to edmonton next year so very excited for that
I really hesitated your channel for being a MSFS Simmer or real life, now realised its real life, damn!
That is correct. All real life here. Thanks for watching my friend!
I see a delta Embraer jet being pushed back
What a difference. The beauty of Hawaii, and the dull flat blah of Los Angeles.
dull flat blah. dude.. theres always more to a city than meets the eye. i've seen LA in a quintillion movies, but in real live only sat 4 hours in the back of a police car before being flown out. i saw street lights and 3 palm trees. it was spectacular.
If developers have their way, Hawaii will look like LA soon. They’re both overcrowded, expensive, and packed with homeless people.
Yet 10x better than landing in any random city in Germany in the Winter.
LA is anything but flat. Lots of hills and mountains around.
What are you taking about? LA is the best city in the USA for me.
Wow, the a330 seems powerful infront of the engine, when I flew I was in seat 50 or something, and it was as quiet as being infront of the engine on the a320neo
i only watch these bc either im bored or wanna feel nostalgic
