To explain what was going on, the last two Strega fights have hard phases. Once you hit all the health in a phase, they stop taking damage for the turn so they can have their next moment and yes, that does mean they can easily tank Armageddon. Also reminder that on the final day, Elizabeth offers free infinite full restores.

This week involves the timeless best seller the Bible and how the majority of Christianity never actually read it. See the Messiah in the Judeo-Christian mythology was a savior of sorts but he was kind of more so the catalyst for Armageddon
If you actually read the Bible Jesus did mention multiple times how the final judgment by god is happening fast one loose quotation was “you couldn’t travel to every city in Jerusalem before the end came”
and if you think that is a mistranslation he also says “Some of you here will see the full might of heaven before you taste of death”
This also makes sense in a reasonable/logical standpoint given how the mythology works.
1.God is the side of omnipotence where he can’t make an object so heavy not even he can lift it(as in lacks the ability to gain a mortal worldview)
2.Therefore needed Jesus to exist to converge both perspectives (also why the Bible declare him as perfect more so then God)
3.God cast final judgment on humanity now having someone fit for judging men
4.Profit?
In the famous Mark 12:11 where Jesus is resurrected he wasn’t the only one. See his tomb and the tombs/graves around him just happen to be empty and emptying implying something akin to the Rapture where the most righteous of individuals were taken into the loving arms of God
Now obviously that would also imply we ourselves have been dammed since the last 2 millenniums in a never ending world of sin with no salvation. Eh I’d believe it
But you could see why the more popular forms of Christianity although aware of this usually ignores these things
-but I think it is a cool concept that time was the real apocalypse not something big as an incurable disease or nuclear annihilation. Merely leaving the sinners to their own devices and have them slowly erode themselves :)

From what I can tell Akinari had already died in rank 9 before talking to him the final time. His spirit remained to give Yuki the ending of the story and lend him the notebook
