Maaaaaan every single "you don´t look good today" kills me slowly T.T
and i still don't understand it. I really hope the shiny sound at the end wasn't Yuki fading away like the dude with the illness did when he just turned into blue particles, which I also don't understand what was up with that. This is my first experience of P3, so idk if there's been any explanations on these things.

if you noticed it the last attack the protag did against Nyx is exactly how many HP Makoto has at the end of the game regardless of how much grinding you did. Makoto is officially dead at that point. He persisted for 3 months in his body. Only for the slim chance his friends would remember the promise of reuniting at the school. Protag succumbed there knowing his friends remebered him and the adventure they lived. o7.
And. Akinari was dead at the last social link. His spirit reach out to you before moving on to the after life. He just wanted to tell Makoto the ending of his story.

@@MrBolioman dang... i was hoping that shiny sound at the end wasn't him dying the same way Akinari's spirit made the same sound as he faded away, but i guess i was just coping.

when it remains on sounds like it's meant to be
What Makes This Ending Hurt Even More Is That Makoto's Death Was Constantly Foreshadowed Throughout the entire game The OST Having Leitmotifs Of Memories Of You A Song Whose Lyrics Are About Aigis' Desire To Protect makoto While Makoto is dying is her arms,The Fact That One Of Makoto's Ultimate Persona Is Messiah Reference to jesus who sacrifice himself to save mankind from sin just like makoto sacrificed his soul to stop nyx's wide spread destruction,The Fact that in the start of persona 3 Orpheus got destroyed by Thanatos who is the greek personification of death In the end Honestly it's brilliant and shows this how p3 feels like a greek tragedy
Also, at the beggining of the game when you hang out with junpei and pick a certain dialogue option he says "its your funeral buddy" to the mc

Almost 20 years later and they still didn't fix that damn glitch where the screen gets blurry in the credits.
They also didn’t fix the glitch where the credits will sometimes play Ocean man
This game is so beautiful and the main cast being like a big family elevates it.
The Chihiro scene caught me off guard
A most beautiful ending that *_perfectly_* represents the game's theme of coping with death and losses.
I especially love how everyone ended up losing their memories; it subtly tells us that we don't always get what we want no matter how hard we work for it and that some losses are just inevitable. But with a strong trusting heart, there's always a possibility a miracle would happen.
Thank you for being the best host ever for this incredible experience Johne. So many of your improv jokes got me rofl xD
My first experience of P3 was Reload and since then it became my favorite Persona game. As someone who started with P5 then P4G, at first Tartarus was my least favorite of the dungeon crawling aspect compared to the other games, but later on as the story progressed I find myself to be more immersed in it. What I really like the most in P3 is the soundtrack, its theme, message, the main cast, and this masterpiece of an ending. P3 resonated on me the most in my experience and this game has a special place in my heart.
And lastly, thank you Johne for the vids. You may have beaten P3 17 times or more LOL, but I hope Reload and this playthrough was still a great experience for you.
Just think at least 1 one person’s first experience with the Persona series was Trinity Souls

Seeing this playthrough to the end has been amazing, this really changed my opinion of the S.E.E.S crew, knowing almost nothing of this game compared to 5 and 4 I had no opinion of them, now these might be my favorite persona cast in the series.
This really helped me get through college, seeing these videos gave me a reason to get in the morning genuinely

Same S.E.E.S also became my favorite cast. Great written characters individually.
Then the month of December in P3 came. They've really grown and that's the part where S.E.E.S not only as individually well written characters, but as a group also.
This playthrough was amazing. Persona 3 Reload helped me when my grandmother passed away (game came out like less than a week after), and Johne's let's play helped me as well. I love this game so much and its sad to see this let's play ending

Up until The Answer, I never truly knew what happened to the protagonist at the end of the game. Persona 3 is, I think, a rare example of a game whose ending is very abstract and confusing, but they do it in such a beautiful way, too. That makes what you find out in The Answer such a bittersweet revelation. Makoto did this to see everyone's happy endings. He entrusted the world to his friends, and to the rest of humanity.
His Social Links are unique as well, in that he doesn't always bond with good people. Because he sees the good and bad in people, and he finds beauty in them worth protecting, no matter what. He takes a very passive role as a Social Link, most of the time, because he is spending his time understanding them, not judging them, and carefully taking the time to learn what it must be like to be in their shoes, to think like them. I think of all the Persona protagonists, Makoto is the most empathetic and kind, even if he has a very aloof demeanor on the surface. His level of understanding, empathy, and compassion is what truly makes him fully embody his final Persona: Messiah.

Tanaka singing his own theme song and advertising on the TV was the best part.
A damn good game Persona 3 Reload was. I released a single tear in respect for Makoto's great self-sacrifice.
I await Persona 4 Remake.
I don't think Atlus will make Persona 4 Remake, because Persona 4 Golden is enough to make Persona 4 looks very perfect. Plus, Atlus is starting to focus on working on the next project for the next series and is no longer focused on making the Spin-Off.
So much more emotion and power is added to the final scene for the Sun arcana thanks to fully voiced dialogue. As someone born with a genetic disease myself, I can relate to the mother, because I can only imagine how much pain my mother has felt blaming herself for me inheriting my disorder from her while she is a recessive carrier. I know a lot of people like to argue that the social links in P3 are we compared to P4 and P5, but man does it have some truly powerful commentary. !

Also not just Makoto but P3's main cast as well, there's something about the character development of S.E.E.S and how they relate to the themes of the game that really makes me appreciate their characters.
I think I might prefer Akira (P5) more 🤔

This was such a good ending. It came just as I was finished with the last of my assignments during a very busy exam season, there is no better day it could have arrived. I literally couldn't stop smiling while watching that ending sequence. Thanks Johne, I love your commentary. Keep going.

Well, uhh. Call it cheesy, here's day 5: Just saw them end of an amazing game, what a banger ride. Amazing work from Atlus and from my favorite let's player, Jimmy Amazing. (Jokes aside, this playthrough was absolutely amazing, and I'm glad I got to see it through to the end, looking forward to future projects, thanks Johne❤)

Metaphor is still a long way from being released, while The Answer DLC will be released in September, one month before Metaphor releases in October

Bittersweet ending to a great game
God damn, man.
Reload (And P3 in general) is just one of those emotional masterpieces along with Xenoblade 3, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Red Dead 2, and Super Mario Galaxy that never fails to make me cry.
