To get the elephant out of the room now, Yes I know this is not as optimized as it could be. However, I wanted to show one interpretation of the build that was OP, but could capitalize in other areas (namely evasion).

Some people did some code diving and Crit amp + Crit boost dont stack for some reason so enjoy your slash boost without accesory.
Its so sad that Satanael's Sinful Shell:
1) doesn't use Satanael's gunfire animation
2) Is only barely stronger than Megidolaon
And isn’t even as strong as Black Viper 😭😭😭

The added insta-kill effect are useless too since it doesn't affect bosses and most mobs who could be affected by it would just die from the inflicted almighty damage instead.
Morning Star could be passed around this time and that move are honestly a better choice in terms of damage and (slight) SP cost, but I'd personally rather use Helel or Messiah instead for that.
i feel atlus didn't want something as OP as Myriad Truths so they nerfed the dlc personas this time but i think they undercooked Satanael a bit too much.
Between Sinful Shell NOT using Satanael's gun, and Primal Force being turned into... a fucking arrow? Idk what in YHVH's name Atlus was snorting with this. BEYOND disappointing.

Thank you so much! BTW the vids of people 1-shotting Liz (at least the ones I’ve seen) have been done on Peaceful difficulty where your damage is cranked up to an absurd degree. Playing on Hard or Merciless will still do insane damage, just nothing that will 1-shot.

it gets even more op cause all the amps and boost along with charge apply to fusion spells so scarlet havoc will basically one shot everything in the game.
Definitely. If you have the space, Multi-Target Boost for Scarlet Havoc is another great skill on her.
Cendrillon is strong no doubt but I don’t think it compares to how utterly broken myriad truths was

SMTV Vengeance adding traits from royal to demons is hype and have you seen the SMTV spotlight stream at all for vengeance? Also shoutout to Atlus for making Bestgirl's persona busted. Also its awesome to see physical skills getting the love they never got in previous games. Wonder what will be broken in Persona 4 Remake and P6.
1. Yes I have and it looks awesome! The 27th (physical preorder date) can’t come soon enough!
2. Definitely like I said, with the odd exception, you’re conditioned in the series to prioritize magic. So having physical be a game ended (especially once you get Siegfried) is amazing!
3. My guess, they’ll tweak Sinful Shell to do more damage but tone the Driver skills down to 50%

Already doing a nearly identical build, but with Vanadis/Masquerade.
I know Cendrillon has the higher damage potential because of Brave blade’s higher base power along with drive slasher, but masquerade being AoE and having a higher crit chance makes it comfier.
Of course, the long term goal is to eventually fuse a Cendrillon _also_ so I can just have both. Can probably even fuse down vanadis herself and bring her back with the compendium so I can inherit Ali dance to Cendrillon too.

Yeah i only grind once per full moon cycle because of how op vanadis with slash amp and crit boosts, the only problem would be slash block or repel, other than that, sinful hell abuse

I really wanted to build Thanatos because well might as well and when I saw you can transfer morning star I was like yep.... until it took about 2 days to get almighty amp on him. Git it done and I don't regret it
Thanatos looks so cool and when I played P3P I didn't set him up because I had other personas set up and he didn't really look like he had anything unique. Might try to get morning star on him and try for almighty amp too. He still doesn't besides great resists but IDK I might also be switching Vanadis out for a leveled up Cendrillon going into the endgame but I love masquerade.
the physical glow up in reload is insane, in fes my 99 strength thanatos with brave blade was getting outdamaged by makoto's basic melee attack lmao
btw dataminers found out that crit rate boost doesn't stack with crit amp/apt pupil as the game actively checks for crit amp and overrides the crit boost bonus so you can slap slash boost on cendrillion for even more damage

I used Siegfried in my blind Merciless run with all crit skills. I sat there like alright, “if this is great… what’s a busted Persona like?” *Sees Cendrillon on your video, immediately sees where this is going*
I actually did something really similar, but with vanadis since y really like her unique attack, but never imagined that the slash driver had that much impact in damage

ngl, was def debating myself for Cendrillon with her Slash Driver, and I really like her color palate
FYI, boosts are multiplicative, not additive. For example Amp + Boost gives x1,50.x1,25=x1,875 boost, not 1,75. From what I heard it seems the boost cap is more than x2,00 now, so with X Driver + X Amp + X Boost + Single/Multi-target Boost + Magic Ability (doesn't work for Phys and Almighty tho) + Magic Mastery (same with Ability) you can get a humongous x5,00 boost, which is the new cap

BTW do you by any chance know if there’s also a crit cap like there was in P5R (which was 60%)?
@@jaffinator2166 I also want to know this. Looks like we have to wait for datamining results or a person who will experiment this with hundreds of tries, because calculating chance based things are much harder than just damage boosts.

Honestly I makes me happy being a Sumi fan myself.
I always played with the rule that I couldn’t use a doc persona until I hit its level, and combine that with how I never knew that you could do NG+ multiple times, I had never gotten past like level 74 in persona 5, and even then that was when I was using Aresen like 80% of the time 😂, now I know better but I never got to know the Crazy OP nature of some of these personas
Yeah I actually set a similar rule for this playthrough. I was only allowed to fuse the DLC. No buying from the Compendium for free. If I was going to use them, I had to earn it
My cendrillon had slash driver, slash amp, slash boost, single target boost, phys res, brave blade, arms master and firm stance. Not the most optimal but it really helped when i fought elizabeth.
One of my funny build persona's was a legion with 99 en and 99 ag with angelic grace vidyaraja and ali dance.
I also built up hecatoncheires, narcissus and saki matima for my elizabeth fight since i didn't have orpheus telos.
You’ll see later when I upload it but my final Cendrillon for Elizabeth had Brave Blade, Crit Boost and Amp, Apt Pupil, Slash Driver, Slash Amp for damage and Angelic Grace and Vidyaraja’s Blessing to take advantage of her high evasion stat. Probably could have replaced Vidyaraja with Ali Dance to really drive it home but eh.
NOooOoOooO! You left out one important thing on why Cendrillion is better than Johanna or Milady. It is because of Scarlet Havoc theurgy. It can basically kill Elizabeth in one hit. I just kill my elizabeth for 20070 damage.
Yup 100% right. Although at the time of writing this, I was unaware of the impact Multi-Target boost had on Scarlet Havoc. If you don’t care about Cendrillon doing damage, and do it solely through SH, I recommend the following build
1. Slash Driver
2. Slash Amp
3. Slash Boost
4. Crit Boost
5. Crit Amp
6. Apt Pupil
7. Multi-Target Boost
8. Up to you

for anyone not having the DLC, you can also use siegfried with the same moveset. also make sure to have another persona with auto rebellion and start fight with that one first, then change to siegfried

Decided to try the build out and just happened to run into an enemy with Phys Barrier 💀
I didn’t touch on it here but when that happens (which is rare) use the Scarlet Havoc Theurgy. It pierces through resistances and does a crap ton of damage too! You can boost it further by adding Multi-Target boost as well
I realized pretty early in how busted Cendrillon was. She was in my party for a long time.

“Siegfried is really strong, just tearing through enemies like nothing… HOLD ON Cendrillon has a skill that makes slash attacks even stronger!”
0:14 true frolic is op as hell and she learns luster candy as well not to mention that she resists fire, ice, force electric, nulls light, and is only weak to dark. Haven't gotten him yet but also shiva as he has a crazy good sig move that is just megidoloan on crack that also minimizes the enemies' defense(the minimum is 2 debuffs unlike persona which is only 1). Btw frolic is an ailment move that has the chance to inflict charm and minimizes the enemies' defense and attack. This is like 2 debilitates(which are aoe in smt) without the evasion and accuracy debuffs. The debuffs is applied even if the charm misses and it only doesn't debuff if the enemy completely nulls chaem whoch is quite rare. Also yoshitune's hassou tobi always crits however it hits 8 times at most against 8 random enemies whoch really only matters for non boss encounters. Btw my team is a physical me, yoshitsune who randomly got enduring soul(man I'm lucky) cleopatra who is a broken support, and loki who has access to 4 heavy elemental damage options so he is basically my "mage" that can target weaknesses.
True SMTV had some OP demons.
Once you get to Lv99 where Growth 3 becomes obsolete you can swap it for Single Target Boost for another 15% on top of everything.

Quick notes
1) Crit rate boost and amp for some reason don’t stack so that frees up for another skill slot like using slash boost instead of the item you’re using for the skill
2) Theurgy damage is slightly impacted by both magic and phys stat so max St and max Ma with Slash Boost/Amp/Driver, Crit Rate Amp, Apt Pupil, and Multi-Target Boost make for the highest possible damage dealt with the highest chance of a crit if you add max luck to the mix

Any citation or proof of testing crit rate boost and amp don't stack? I looked it up and google didn't show me anything regarding this

I somehow messed up the part where I was supposed to transfer brave blade in favor of auto rebellion and just said screw it inserted tempest slash with a skill card and for the time being its actually pretty solid still I'm downing numerous opponents at once till I find a better skill card
You can really make this built with any phys strong demon, I made a similar build with Futsunushi because he has bloody charge that pretty much negates the need for charge AND rebellion and you can load him with multi target boost and vorpal blade just for shits and giggles. It also has the added benefit of making Scarlet Havoc almost if not stronger than Armageddon
You can achieve similar results yes. But Cendrillon’s Slash Driver skill makes it so she’ll do more damage than any other Slash-based Persona.
If Slash isn’t your speed though, you can accomplish the same effect with Johanna (Strike) with God’s Hand or Milady (Pierce) with Primal Force.
But Cendrillon is still the best because, if I add Multi-Target Boost into the mix, Scarlet Havoc would be doing crazy numbers
You can achieve more of less the same results by building Siegfried, though. At least he's not paid DLC.
Would you make a guide for some of the other Phantom Theives Personas? I tried doing Arsene but the fusions just kept messing up and turning into Carmen which wasn’t apart of the recipe. If there’s any guides you’d make in the future for Kidd or Zorro that would be super helpful
Sure! I have a very stupid, not practical at all, one for DLC Loki, but I can fiddle around with the others too.
@@jaffinator2166 that’s awesome. It’s really annoying how the regular calculator doesn’t work with some fusions because it’s not compatible with the DLC. For example I was trying to get a super powerful Tam Lin for Arsene via fusion but it kept giving me Carmen for every fusion I tried. Good luck if you’re gonna try any other ones

How did you add on crit rate boost after inheriting the other skills you showed? I'm kind of new to the game and fusing in general
For crit rate boost specifically, the antique shop at the mall sells that skill card (becomes available after the beach trip) and you can trade the gems you occasionally collect in battles to get it. As for Slash Boost, you can either RNG for it in Shuffle Time or fuse it onto Siegfried. Although Jikokuten is the only Persona who has it and I have yet to find a good fusion path to get it (hence why I have that as an accessory and I forget how I got that)
not sure if this is still the case here but in other persona games the various boost/amp skills are all multiplicative (so a boost + amp would be 1.25 * 1.5 = 1,875 and not 1,75) and a cap of a 2x multiplier also existed, thus making slash driver not needed since all you'd need here is a single target boost (1.25 * 1.5 * 1.15 = 2.15 which would get rounded down to 2x)
Yup that was already pointed out to me. However in Reload, there does not seem to be a cap (or at least not one that’s been discovered)
There is a cap, however only Magic can reach it.
It is 4x. There is only two ways to reach it. One being to simply use Boost x Amp x Driver x Magic Ability (With DLC). Without DLC though, you can do Boost x Amp x Magic Ability x Magic Mastery x Single/Multi target boost.
Phys, at best, can hit around 3.8x with driver, which is hilarious.
Using Satanael becuase he's cool, using Cendrillon to actually get shit done.

All the crit boosts would work on her and (provided there’s no cap) she would have a basically guaranteed chance to do so. It’s just she won’t be able to receive Slash Driver so she won’t have the damage output Cendrillon does
While siegfried is cool I still prefer to make thanatos as my slash mob killing machine, it just fits and not to mention that it's one of the protags main persona alingside orpheus and messiah. As for messiah... he's my almighty monster with mourning star and orpheus is my buff persona with all the auto buff passive skills that basically give heat riser to the whole team for 3 turns at the beggining of battle, plus heat riser, debilitate, charge and concentrate for a well rounded support persona. To cap my ultimate personas I have a lucifer with all lvl 4 elemental skills so that I can exploit elemental weaknesses if the need for it arises
I gave my original Thanatos Maeigaon, Megidolaon and Deathbound aided by multi-target boost and yeah, he was pretty powerful
How did you get Angelic Grace? I'm not able to figure out how to get the skill card.
I got it through Skill Card during Shuffle Time. Earliest you can get it through fusion is Uriel at level 60

Is charge worth using instead of one of the crit boosts or the single target boost?
I’d definitely say use charge… on a different Persona. Because you want AS MANY boost passives on her as possible. Plus Charge and Concentrate have a surprisingly high SP cost in this game.

I'd give her Single Target Boost instead of Crit Boost since I heard that there's a cap on how much crit rate you can have, and if your luck is high enough It would be a guarantee crit anyway.
It was that way in P5R but Reload is still being datamined so we don’t yet know if that’s still the case.
There might be a cap. Looking into it, skills like Heaven's Blade and Masquerade can, in theory, hit more than 100% crit chance. But in practice, it could not crit sometimes. It's a very small chance though, a rough test I did went to doing 70 or so strikes and it only missed a crit 3 times. It's that high if there is a cap.
Dumb question but how early do you think someone need to be for beating reaper with that build
I would say probably around level 70-level 80. Problem with Reaper in Reload is that he loves to spam Heat Riser more than any other appearance he has. So especially if going solo, you need to balance that.

Damn, i used this build and it destroyed the reaper on merciless, 3444 dmg from a single critic

Actually for All-Target damage, I recommend building Cendrillon like this
1. Slash Boost, Amp, and Driver
2. Multi-Target Boost
3. Crit Boost, Amp, and Apt Pupil
4. Whatever last skill you want
And then pair it with the Scarlet Havoc Theurgy.

If you don't have the dlc, you can just cheat in the driver skills (or any other dlc skill) onto whatever demon you want.
Say what you will about cheats or whatever, but Atlus has been real greedy with dlc lately.
All i'm going to say, is that it's up to you to change skills in a way that is possible to fuse. Only God knows what would happen if you did 4 slash drivers, 2 crit amps, an apt pupil, and brave blade. Other things *Not to do, never cheat 7 almighty amps onto Satan with black viper, or morning star.
Oh yeah no question Atlus has been greedy with DLC. Have you SEEN SMTV Vengeance? I’m hyped for it but I think having to buy the game AND new DLC on top of that is ridiculous.
@@jaffinator2166 I'm going to get Vengence on pc, but hopefully i don't have to spend more than $30 on dlc. I have 817 hours and 29 cycles on base SMT V, so i have no doubts i'll get my moneys worth of Vengence.
Also mods and cheats are eternal. I've had lots of interesting runs i've wanted to do, but couldn't since i cant modify skills, stats, and level on switch.
I'm sure there will actually be a modding community since it will be on pc. If there are observable issues, a modder will be there to fix it, smt has enough dedicated fans who liked smt v a lot.
I believe SMT V is liked more than people think, it's the most new mainline SMT so new comers wont always like it. It's got issues like level scaling, some bosses being kinda tanky early to midgame, similar sandy biome. The way i see it, smt 3 vortex world is all sand. smt v just takes place in the sand, and not in the buildings and cities.
As a whole smtv is extremely solid. To an experienced smt gamer, a tankier boss is alright as long as its not too tanky. Persona 4 golden had some very tanky bosses for instance, but without as many ways to deal a lot of damage like in smt. Or maybe its because each demon is min maxed, and fused, and resummoned , but you cant min max your persona team mates to the same extent.
The empty story is not a issue to me, story on the first playthrough, then skip in NG+ (besides some cool parts.) The music is still top tier, the fusion is better than ever, the press turn system stays winning, the animations and demons look great. I'll stop now since i'm passionate about smt, and could go on.
My two cents take is I hope you won’t be hypocritical if you consider Atlus to be greedy, but ended up spending money on gacha games with more than or equal to 70 USD like the real cost of Persona 3 Reload Full Package btw

Nope. You need the DLC to fuse them
Persona builds boggle my mind at times. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to make myself an insane Orthrus for my NG+ (Orthrus is my favourite persona.) and it's giving me a headache realising that at least two to three skills will need to be put on him with skill cards...
I can't imagine what sort of trial and error it takes to make a persona as broken as p3r Cendrillon though ^^;
Alright: I got some tips for you
1. USE THE FUSION CALCULATOR!!!! I cannot understate how important it is. I linked Siegfried’s page in the description but you can find the Persona/Demon you want to fuse and it will tell you it’s skills, what demons you can fuse into it, and what you can fuse that demon into. Some (like P3R) even have a recipe generator if you’re looking for a specific skill
2. Understand what your desired Persona specializes in. Orthrus for example is a fire and physical demon so you may want to put stuff like Fire Boost, Maragi, and Vacuum Wave would be perfect.
3. Make sure you hang out with SL. The more you do, the less time you have to spend grinding a Persona’s skills.
@@jaffinator2166 I've done all of that (took me too long to figure out how to use the calculator ^^;). The only thing is... the skills I want will have to overwrite his innate skills. The build I'm going for isn't 'OMG how broken is he?' but rather just to make him viable as an end game persona. Said skills are: Inferno, Megidolaon, Matarukaja-which he learns thankfully, Primal force, Fire amp, Null Ice, spell master and Unshaken will. I'm still undecided on Megi and unshaken will though. The difficult part is that the calculator shows me that four of the personas to make this are Lucifer, Alice, Helel and Futsunushi. I'm not using any dlc personas yet but that may change soon.

@@VintageDoggoDude yeah with endgame skills like that, you’re going to have to either fuse those Personas or go skill card farming. Fortunately you can get Megidolaon from the Antique shop and Amps are frequent Shuffle Time and Treasure drops on the last area. As for Primal Force and Inferno… IDK although I personally recommend Brave Blade if you can.

You are forgetting that physical doesn't have a "break" skill, which doesn't let it overcome immunity and resistances. Its a great option if you are also willing to invest in a back-up for null physical bosses and enemies, but IMHO disqualifies it for "most powerful".
Given the effort it takes to max out a Persona, you are much better off going with an elemental persona with a break skill or just almighty, which saves you a turn to cast a break spell. Helel's morning star is pretty damn great at a base 850 and you can boost it to kingdom come with amps.
Perhaps and that would be a problem.... if barely anything in the game nullified, drained, or repelled physical. In the rare cases that they are, you should absolutely use an elemental Persona. But as it stands, barely anything is able to stand in Cendrillons way.
@@jaffinator2166 Well depends whether you count bosses or normal mobs.
For normal mobs, you are always better off targeting weaknesses rather than trying to max out damage.
Mid game onwards most bosses (including monad ones) don't have weaknesses and only have immunities. Plenty of these have resistance or immunity to physical.
Cendrillion is weak or useless against pretty much half of the bosses if you exclude the early game ones, but is incredibly powerful against non-physical resist/immune enemies.
Almighty on the other hand can't be boosted quite as much as physical, but its not that far behind. Considering that there is no almighty resistance, IMHO Helel or Satan is overall more powerful as you aren't giving up that much damage and they are equally useful against ALL enemies.

You can just know you won’t have access to Slash Driver so Cendrillon would still output more damage

Oh yeah. And I am 100% convinced Sinful Shell not being as strong as it could be is a direct response to how game breaking Myriad Truths was.
I've been using vanidis myself with a crit build and pretty much 90% of attacks are crits.

Yes. Use Siegfried for mid game then find a way to fuse him into Masakado (requires 9/10 Elizabeth fusion requests) for endgame. Similar set up to here but you won’t have Slash Driver

I use all of those passive skills(ali dance instead of angelic grace) but with Vanadis Masquerade which has a double 30% crit rate (double because it hits twice, so each hit has its own chance of hitting a crit). It does less damage but the crit rate is way higher.
True but less base power at ~400 (200 per hit) still makes me opt for Brave Blade. Either way, it shows that both of Sumi’s Personas are built differently in this game
I don't think that's how multi hits work. From what I've seen in my playthrough either all hits hit or miss as well as all crit or do normal damage. I've never had a multi attack mix crits with non crits.
Is Cendrillion a DLC Persona ?
Yes. Although if you don’t have it, Siegfried or Masakado are good substitutes
with theurgy maybe. but if you face enemies with slash null reflect or absorb she is useless

@@barryjamesmusicPH if Magic’s more your speed than Satan’s unique skill Black Viper is your best bet. It has the highest base damage in the game at 1,000!

why angelic grace and growth instead of slash boost and single target boost
Growth 3 is temporary until she catches up to me in levels. Angelic Grace is to take advantage of her high evasion. I like to make Personas that can do multiple things. So if I can have a hard hitting Phys user who is also agile, that’s amazing.
So I have heard that there is a way to one shot Elizabeth using a similar build to this just with equipping dragon boots, charging, starting the battle with a persona with auto buff skills on peaceful mode and the fusion spell Scarlet havoc

Drivers are insane but my strongest Persona is still Shiva with his Pralaya.
I personally didn’t have the chance to fuse Shiva 😭 but going off what it was in P4G, then yeah it’s very good!
I'm not using DLC for I'm on Game Pass. Seigfried has been doing just fine for me.
Yeah only reason I got the DLC is it came with the Collectors Edition. Else I probably would not have gotten it (the costumes are bad 😭😭😭😭)

Are you building her the exact way I am? Plus, it plays into how much your personas are leveled up. My Sieg and Principality were leveled up pretty high

Yes, it’s on Orpheus Telos and Orpheus Telos only. However I don’t doubt that you can probably get it through skill mutation
Victory cry is passable. Basically, once u get Telos, u can put the skills on any persona u want. But the challenge here to max all s link for telos

Might be because I leveled Siegfried higher than his base level (which impacts that). But like I said, all that matters is that you pass on Brave Blade, Slash Amp, and Crit amp. The rest can be given through skill cards
@@jaffinator2166 I figured it out. I had only 3 skills on one of the material so I filled out with a bunch of random skills. So both material had full set of skills and it let me pick 4 when I fusioned. So the more skills they have the more you get to pass down. Thanks!
It's depending on how many skills the persona ingredients have, so if the 2 persona ingredients all have 8 skills, the resulting persona can inherit 4 skills
At what level is this possible?
Level 54 is the earliest possible but I recommend waiting until you and Siegfried hits level 61 so he learns all his skills

2. To answer your second comment, you’re going to have to place some skill cards on her, that’s how I did it for skills that wouldn’t fit during the fusion process.
3. I appreciate your, enthusiasm, but please bear in mind that building her optimally will take awhile (even if you have all the right skill cards).

This isnt neccesarily exclusive to Cendrillon u can build any of the first awakening p5 personas (besides robin hood rip) to be the strongest since they have all the driver skills but shes the best physical persona
Definitely and I actually found out that Johnanna would actually outdamage Cendrillon because of God’s Hand’s higher power. But I’d still say Cendrillon is worth using over her because
1. Brave Blade’s higher crit chance
2: Her impact on the Scarlet Havoc Theurgy
scarlet havoc is the main reason shes better. ive been using Johanna and she can hit upto 15k onn the right set up that ive used@@jaffinator2166
The most powerfull personas in newer games being previus games party member/protagonist exclusive personas feels so wrong honestly
Yeah I definitely think it shines less spotlight on what makes the classic demons/Personas special. But at the same time, they’re optional and in this game specifically, Siegfried is a good substitute
