Can You Beat Persona 3 Reload With no SP, We're playing Persona 3 Reload, the recently released remake of Persona 3, I try to beat Persona 3 Reload without using any SP, and on the hardest difficulty, Merciless. We can only use physical attacks. Come join me on my filler arc, there's some funny moments through this chill run of Persona 3 Reload

Etrian Odyssey series is also one of those games where you start off at nobodies and end up as big heroes. At the start your team consists of rookie adventurers, literal nobodies who people expect to die early in the labyrinth. By the end, everyone has their eyes on you as stars of the city

Glad to have another challenge run channel to watch. I watched both videos. I wish more of these kinds of videos existed, but I guess it's hard to do challenge runs or something.
Yeah they take a lot of time to make. It can take a few weeks or months. So many creators don’t like to make them for smaller communities like persona, yakuza etc. But I’m with you, I want more of these videos to exist. I’m going to keep making many many more!

I learned through sheer coincidence that Clairvoyant relic is able to be poisoned. So the fight can also be cheesed by having the poison bow on Yukari and praying for the poison proc, then playing defensive until it's one hit from death.

Funny enough they mention cream puffs in some school store dialogue but you can’t actually buy them. I wanted to make the run a cream puff only run but it wasn’t possible lol

Am I the only person who thought that "Yukari's Strap" meant she gave us her personal gun. I thought she stayed strapped up at all times.

@@EldianDevilPlays Dragon Quest games have you start with almost nothing and rise as The Hero to banish evil. I could suggest Etrian Odyssey since there's even more struggle in the beginning, but becoming godlike requires mastery of its more esoteric mechanics. 2-shotting bosses is quite the power trip.

@@EldianDevilPlaysSo many recommend 11 or 8, though I haven't played them yet to vouch for the majority. 3 is good and it's getting its remake soon enough though! I'm also really liking 4 & 5.
Like I know physical in p4 and p5 were good but they made it so broken in reload with all the new passives for them that it kinda makes magic useless after the first few blocks

Not to be nitpicky but you put "No SP loss under any circumstance" as your rule but then you use Armageddon which makes you lose SP to 1 unless you're already at 0. I get that It's to make the reaper grind faster but still :(. Still a god run though for dealing with everything else in the game.

Good point! The answer is…..I just didn’t think of that LMAO. I guess in my head I thought, other Theurgies didn’t use SP so Armageddon wouldn’t either.
Just to play devils advocate here, for the sake of just roleplaying. One could argue that Armageddon doesn’t “use” SP but drains it instead. Since every action in the game that “uses” SP can’t be performed unless you have the necessary SP. BUT when enemies drain SP, they can do that even if you have no SP for them to drain. So it feels like Armageddon falls under the “drain” category. If I had a way to set my SP to zero permanently then it wouldn’t really matter. But I did say at the beginning that anything that makes the sp bar go down is a no. Still a great catch, I really wish I would’ve caught that earlier though. :( I would’ve just grinded up a different way.

Now, attempt this in P3 Portable. That would be a way harder challenge, and it would be quite impressive if you could beat it.
whenever i get to the point i can steamroll a game after a more difficult early game it just kinda leaves me wanting to replay the first sections again, just doesn't feel as satisfying to win at that point to me I guess? Well edited video

You said you want games where you start as nobody and become amazing? Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest on the SNES. The character you get to name is the weakest member of your party until you reach the same, unchanging XP level as your partner. Only you get to level up, your partner's level is static. By the end of the game, provided you've picked up the right magic and armor, you're unstoppable, moreso than your partner, Phoebe, the resident mage of the game where magic is the sole viable tactic late-game, and Seeds, the only MP restorative, are at a premium.
However, don't get me wrong. FF:MQ is not a hard game, nor is it thought-provoking, or even very well made. You can duplicate consumable items in eight inputs, for example. But it *is* my favourite.

i had a unit in engage that had so much physical defense that not even the final boss could do damage with a physical attack

@@EldianDevilPlays no problem. i would recommend anything awakening and later as a start point. because those have a mode to disable the permadeath which imo makes the first playthrough less frustrating.

I’d recommend the dark souls trilogy, I have a slight issue with 3 because of its design but dark souls is about starting as nothing then becoming more.

No SP. The first thing that comes to mind is physical attacks do chip damage onto user. No Heals? Mind control is real bad too Are you surviving on items?
Yeah the run was pretty much dependent on items completely.
If i replay a persona game should i do it on a harder difficulty? I play normal on every game the first playthrough
Yes definitely! It makes the game more interesting. You’re forced to get creative with some of the battles, that are usually not a problem on normal. I

@@EldianDevilPlays for me it was kinda funny. i didnt have fusion calc or anything open but bishamonten is so perfectly pre built to be the gun expert its nuts. also it feels the game forgets gun is an element most of the time so things just die.
