Disabled mini cooper R56 vacuum pump. Some heads up as to why you should not drive the car when the vacuum pump that is connected to a camshaft stops working.
alexlovesjapan it was just really hard to apply the brakes and not enough pressure was supplied to the brakes so I had to really calculate the braking distance way in advance. the vehicle was really not safe to drive until I had the part replaced.
Mohau Vundla I had a engine light warning light come on. Changed turbo, rocker cover, diverter valve, boost sensor, etc. Spent £1400 extra and still not sorted. Want to fix it
did you have poor idle swell or was it just the brake?
I only had hard brake pressure. Idle was okay. Sorry for the late reply

the vehicle also reduced the engine performance. I think I had that half engine performance symbol warning light.

With dirty oil like that, you will destroy the new pump just like you destroyed the one you’re changing.
I change my oil regularly. The part is known to fail.
