I noticed in a more recent video installing the camper tray you have the propane now mounted on tongue, replacing the tongue box. The regulator seems to be mounted where the tank was. Any plans to make an updated video on that buildout? Otherwise any advice on that, because it looks like the most secure setup. Thanks!
that is correct JIC, SAE and AF tapered fittings are designed to seal on the taper not the thread. using thread tape can cause the thread to bind before the tapers seal causing leaks. Then people over tighten the threads causing cracks in the fittings
Did you need to do anything special to mount the 20lbs tank holder to the front of the trailer? I'm curious if its solid enough throughout or do I need to find out dimensions to hit bracing.
What propane mount did you use to attach the tank to the Pursue? I’m in the process of doing the same set up along with the camco heater for my 2022 Pursue. Thanks
Just curious since you’ve made several trips since mounting the regulator. Any issues with rocks or sticks kicking up and hitting it? I’m making a trip to Alaska next summer and will be driving down several gravel roads. I mounted mine in about the same spot on the driverside. I’m thinking of using a piece of aluminum or steel to make a shield in front of it. Just to deflect some rocks.
No issues at all! It seems to be a good spot. No damage to report at all. if you do make should please post it up on our Facebook page, would love to see it!
Thanks for this! I’m pricing out an Exlore right now, and was wanting to do this exact same thing, for the 2 burner in the slide, the 2 burner black stone, and the Joolco as well. How’s it working for you? Also, how long does your 20lb tank last? Thinking of going with a 10lb, as I would just be going out 4-5 days at a time max. Thanks!
It's hard to say how long the 20lbs last, seems forever! But I will suggest going with a 20llbs tank, as you can get them at pretty much any gas station. The odd sized tanks you have to bring somewhere that will refill on the spot. Something to think about if you are in a pinch and need gas! The quick connects are working great, just did 2 weeks in Colorado without an issue! Thanks for watching!
Or did you mean the table on the from of Julio's tongue box? That is the table that came on top of the fridge modded to slide into place on the front of the box!
The link for the first, and 2nd part in your parts list appears to be the same part. Can you please check the link to your "Adapter 3/8"" NPT Male tp 1/4"" female (2pack)" part? Thank you!
Hiya Sean, we fixed the link and here it is as well. Thanks for watching! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0747LL11P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You should not add pipe thread tape to the tapered end components

You are correct. Thanks for pointing that out.

It is solid. Bolts with large washers and lock washers on the back and it is super firm.

Awesome video! What table is that on the tongue box?
I actually did a video on it! ruclips.net/video/dv8k_n3d3ts/видео.html

@@Campalorians Yep the one on Julio’s tongue box! Awesome. Seems like a better place for it.

Hi Sean, looking into it and will get it sorted out. Thanks!
