- Welcome back to The Kneady Homesteader channel and today, with the help of Danny, we are making Smoked Nachos! Now, if you do not wn a smoker, that is ok....just throw these nachos right into your oven at 300 for about 15 minutes or so. We put ours on the smoker at 250F for 15 min.

Hello my beautiful friend!! I haven’t been online allot in the last few months. My precious sweet grandson left for basic training for the army in April and my granny heart has been going through it!!! If it wasn’t for prayer and I mean allot of prayer, I don’t know what I would do!! He’s doing great and I went to GA 2 weeks ago to see him graduate from the first part of training. It was so so good to see him and hug him!!! He’s a totally different person!! I was prepared for the change because I went through it with my ex husband but my daughter wasn’t prepared at all!!! He walks tall and proud instead of being the humped over X Box playing boy he was!!! I’m so proud of him!! Any and all prayers for him and all of our soldiers is very much appreciated!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you Bev. I have known Danny almost all my life. We grew up in the same neighborhood. Met him in 5th grade. But it wasn’t until high school we became best friends. We had the same group of friends and did everything together. Its crazy how God heals. His goodness is beyond measure. My Mom loved Danny and if she can see from heaven she may have whispered in Gods ear. 😆 Danny misses my Mom as much as I do. The Lord is amazing.

😆 he is. I can’t cut onion that small. I dont have the patience. 😆 The kids always ask if Danny can cut the veggies 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He has the patience of ten saints!

Glad to hear you use lard instead of seed oil which is toxic. If you have access to a hispanic grocery store, in their meat market they have the "real" lard. The snow cap is processed but still better than seed oil. So happy for you to have found Danny to give your heart joy again. We all need and deserve love and a joyful heart. Hope to see more of Danny in the future!
Smoked nachos are on my meal plan. Perhaps, we can persuade Danny to cook more often.

Love the idea of cream cheese in with the refries, that would boost the protein. I add cumin to mine and shredded cheddar cheese. So nice to watch you and Danny working together in the kitchen, he is the blessing so many of us have prayed for you to find. Your nachos turned out restaurant-beautiful!
He is the most incredible human being I have ever know.....he has been a complete Godsend to all of us....but the way he helps carry me through....his softness, tenderness, understanding....he is my earth angel. I went downstate today with Mina, to go to lunch with my sister for our birthdays. Danny packed a bag for me with my pain meds, pain patches, my finger splint, all sorts of things just in case I needed them! hahaha Amazing!

My Mom liked to serve tacos for dinner when guests came to dinner. It lightens things up for everyone & each person makes their own tacos. I like to do the same thing.
