We very unwisely stopped at 2 children. It’s just what we thought was best for us at the time. When my two had grown up and left home I so badly wished we’d had more. I missed them so very much-then the unthinkable happened. Our 40 year old wonderful son was diagnosed with cancer last May and passed away 3 months later. And no, more children wouldn’t make up for his absence-but his sister would still have siblings and his 1 son would have more family to love and help him grow into the man his dad would have helped him to be. We're loving our grandson his mom and doing all we can to help them along. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR FAMILY ON YOUR PREGNANCY ❤. Take care of yourself, Mama. 😊. God bless!

About a year and a half ago- on my youngest baby’s 1st birthday, I lost what would have been my 9th at 13 weeks😕 I got very sick with peritonitis, an abdominal infection and lost baby, had emergency surgery and was in the hospital 2 weeks. Since then my body has not been the same, and may not have any more. I am praying the Most High will give me another baby... I feel like I am missing a child. Prayers that everything goes smoothly and you have an easy delivery. Babies are such blessings😊.

I saw someone who accidently left a couple potato plants in a garden, and it went through fall and winter with lots of snow, and she just found them and dug them up, to find 20+ potatoes from EACH plant! One had 32! Some were pretty small, but it was like a treasure hunt for her! If they aren't doing great, just leave them to over winter, for a science experiment!😁

I was listening to a podcast earlier this week and they talked about how women in rural ancestral tribes have babies well into their 50’s! Only society has put a “time limit” on women. What a BEAUTIFUL BLESSING to have a baby at 43!!!!! Congrats!!
So true! We can look throughout history and see that having babies in your 40s was totally normal. I find it sad that it is considered my many “unsafe” or weird in any way.

This is the first year we have ever taken a summer break too! I have only delivered five babies but I will say the last was the hardest when I was 38. My body told me that was our last. I sure am glad that you have the older four helpers to get you through more difficult times of morning sickness. I completely understand that you want to share news in your time. Congratulations, you are a very inspirational human. I am a year older than you but I aspire to be like you when I grow up 😉
I remember growing up my mom stayed with me till I was 11yrs old. Then she chose to go back to work for the State of Maryland. So mom did her major cooking on the weekends. I remember her telling me don't touch my taste testing spoons these were spoons she used only for test tasting. Just a memory. No I was not home alone after school my parents had an older lady here at the house for when I got home. She was a sweet heart. Always made sure the homework at least got started.

The nausea and fatigue was unbelievable throughout my entire pregnancy and I also struggled a bit more with PPD. After really researching I learned that the older we get, the drop in our hormones…it’s just tougher. Lifting you up now and pray for relief and joy for the rest of pregnancy and delivery ❤

We have a large family, as well, but they are all grown and adults now except for one. The teen years and social lives of our children did for sure amp up the feelings of being spread too thin. So happy for you. I had my last child, 8th child at 42 pregnant and delivered at 43. I had miscarried before him and was concerned but had to put all things in God’s hands, worry would not change the outcome. He is such a blessing to our family. I can’t imagine not having that last precious child even at 43. He is 23 now and even though I am not a young mother any more, I cherish every day he is still in the nest. Within weeks he will be getting his own place after obtaining his Masters degree in Science….home schooled until he went to college, our kids can compete in the world after homeschooling. Love to your family and that precious baby in your womb.

Our land held so much water this year, and we couldn't get anything in till late. I'm trying to preserve everything I can from local farmers markets for now until this baby arrives! You are so precious to me and I'm so thrilled for this new baby! I found out about a week ago that my youngest is expecting. She is due the end of January and she has been sooooo sick. We are hoping for a girl too! She has 2 boys. She'll be 36 in Dec and she said she didn't feel this sick or tired with the other two. Anyway, we are so excited. This will be our 16th grandchild. Pickled red onions are amazing! We go through a pint a week here in the summer season. The only difference is that instead of garlic we put in some home grown hot pepper flakes. But yeah, on top of tacos, nachos, grain/veg bowls, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas! It's a lovely addition to nearly everything! Congratulations on the new babe.

Congrats on the new baby on the way. I just finished three pickings and canning of black currants. The picking is very time consuming… I could pick more from our bushes… I already canned 21 pints.. I did can them 10 minutes all as jam. We too are busy getting in the firewood as we only have wood heat and in the winter wood cook stove. Congrats on the beef heifers too. Now they can have a good life, albeit short. My blueberries are not quite ready but I am watching them and currently scything the field around them.. will rake that and pile it up for mulch for next year. We have very steep slopes here and cutting with tractors not possible so I scythe and rake. My gardens are all on steep slope and we terraced most of it. Garlic not done here yet. We are in zone three here and planting begins last week of May.

Congratulations ❤ 2 of my children were born in April and one in November. I was so much happier and able to function better being pregnant in spring and summer vs being pregnant in fall and winter! I know most women hate being pregnant in the summer but if I could do it all again I’d have each baby in the fall/winter!

I understand and empathize with your reticence to share the news about expecting after such tremendous loss--my first child, a son named Noah, was stillborn in January at 30 weeks, and I'm pregnant again with a little girl, Leah, due in mid-December. It's been an exciting but scary 18 weeks, and every prenatal appointment in which we hear her heartbeat is a beautiful reminder of the Lord's "peace that surpasses all understanding." Grats on baby news. I am 64 yra old and had cervix cancar at age of 21 yrs old on my cervix. I desired more children. Lost my first born , a girl Melissa, she lived 5 days. Second child Nicole a girl she lived. Third child Troy my son died at birth. De....Dr sd I would never have any more, my response, You are not God, and God has the say. At 28 yrs old I had Megan a true gift from God, she came early due in Dec C////sorry... due in April born in Dec. she was a blessing. To me so much love and respect to her Mom. I wrote all this to say on this Mother Day May 12 2024 my Megan died. Wreak with interal issues. On life support. She was 35 yrs old. I am so broken and my heart breaks. You are so precious to me and I'm so thrilled for this new baby! I found out about a week ago that my youngest is expecting. She is due the end of January and she has been sooooo sick. We are hoping for a girl too! She has 2 boys. She'll be 36 in Dec and she said she didn't feel this sick or tired with the other two. Anyway, we are so excited. This will be our 16th grandchild. God has blessed us greatly! Keeping both of you in my prayers.

Congratulations on this upcoming baby. I am glad you are feeling better and amazed that you could film at all while feeling so bad. I was 39 with my last pregnancy and know I was much more tired than the previous babies and I only had 4. I will add you to my prayer list for a healthy baby and pregnancy and if you would like a baby quilt, I make them to give to whoever wants one. Take care and don't push yourself too hard. Pickled red onions are amazing! We go through a pint a week here in the summer season. The only difference is that instead of garlic we put in some home grown hot pepper flakes.
But yeah, on top of tacos, nachos, grain/veg bowls, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas! It's a lovely addition to nearly everything!

Congrats on the new baby on the way. I just finished three pickings and canning of black currants. The picking is very time consuming… I could pick more from our bushes… I already canned 21 pints.. I did can them 10 minutes all as jam. We too are busy getting in the firewood as we only have wood heat and in the winter wood cook stove. Congrats on the beef heifers too. Now they can have a good life, albeit short. My blueberries are not quite ready but I am watching them and currently scything the field around them.. will rake that and pile it up for mulch for next year. We have very steep slopes here and cutting with tractors not possible so I scythe and rake. My gardens are all on steep slope and we terraced most of it. Garlic not done here yet. We are in zone three here and planting begins last week of May.

2 of my children were born in April and one in November. I was so much happier and able to function better being pregnant in spring and summer vs being pregnant in fall and winter! I know most women hate being pregnant in the summer but if I could do it all again I’d have each baby in the fall/winter!

I understand and empathize with your reticence to share the news about expecting after such tremendous loss--my first child, a son named Noah, was stillborn in January at 30 weeks, and I'm pregnant again with a little girl, Leah, due in mid-December. It's been an exciting but scary 18 weeks, and every prenatal appointment in which we hear her heartbeat is a beautiful reminder of the Lord's "peace that surpasses all understanding." I'll be praying for you and your little one, and am excited we can go on this pregnancy journey "together"! Lots of love and many blessings from our family in NW Arkansas 💞

Grats on baby news. I am 64 yra old and had cervix cancar at age of 21 yrs old on my cervix. I desired more children. Lost my first born , a girl Melissa, she lived 5 days. Second child Nicole a girl she lived. Third child Troy my son died at birth. De....Dr sd I would never have any more, my response, You are not God, and God has the say. At 28 yrs old I had Megan a true gift from God, she came early due in Dec C////sorry... due in April born in Dec. she was a blessing. To me so much love and respect to her Mom. I wrote all this to say on this Mother Day May 12 2024 my Megan died. Wreak with interal issues. On life support. She was 35 yrs old. I am so broken and my heart breaks. Please pray for me. ......Ya are a blessing and tks for your video. Anyone who reads this, please please pray for me....

My mom and dad had 9 children and when they determined the time was right, they would make their announcement to us sitting around the dinner table and it was always a spaghetti dinner...being the oldest I caught on pretty quick when it was spaghetti and "we have an announcement"...it became a family tradition....hahaha...the girls would want another girl and the boys would want another boy, but my parents always would say a healthy baby...your happy news had me reminiscing...lol...congratulations again and I will keep you and your family in my prayers!!
