@@garrettmetalman5008 sat with him in the 90s in Colorado. This is when Joe Preston was playing with them. He just talked to me like any other guy while we sat at the bar in the back. We talked about Alchemy Records, all kinds of horror stories for the band, etc. He signed an autograph for me on the ticket (red construction paper-like) that he signed King Buzzo is a pu$$y. Dale was shy, but came out with 7” flexis of the song Euthanasia. I stupidly sold that in the 2000s. I am pretty sure he had a plastic bracelet that spelled out fcuk you with those little plastic beads with letters on them. I believe it was them who were parked in a white van in front, before the gig. Ahhh, the old days.

The Melvins are one of the most humble and under appreciated bands of their generation - hands down. When people would say the best drummers of the 90's were Lars Ulrich or Travis Barker I would laugh and think neither one of those guys could hold their own against Dale Crover in a drum battle but Dale's too modest to ever admit that. He's one of the last true drum gods but no one realizes it lol

Here here!! I certainly hope that kids follow this kid's initiative & figure out that most the crap they hear nowadayz is just that, & find out there is really great music out there, its just underground now! I know dads put on the Sabbath & Zepp & tell them, " this is how good it used to be!" Thatz great & all but they need to learn that there are bands that have takin that to the next level; Melvins, Neurosis, C.O.C., Earthless, just to name a couple, but I don't think that most parents are even hip enough to know about them, themselves! But I live my life believing in the pendulum factor, that its time will swing back around to rear its beautiful, monstrous head to the masses once again! Then at the same time I feel like, "Stay outta my scene Maaan!" Haaha, Buzz is the best & keep rockin you all!!

The only reason people even know who they are 25/30 years later is because it's well documented that Kurt idolized them early on. Buzz with the super fresh Goats Head Soup shirt! Love it. Great album. Those custom guitars he has remind me of the aluminum ones Keith Levene played in his Public Image Limited days, except they look much more durable. Great video as always Elliot. keep 'em coming.

What a humble guy, one of the most creative artists ever yet really down to earth

@@RedMissou no doubt...he is was VERY creative and was one of the first bands that started making noise in the "Seattle grunge " scene. Very influential and a great guitarist. I just feel he craved the success other bands for, and then said they sold out or made these unfair judgements of many of them for their drug use/abuse. These were bands that loved the Melvin's and they were a huge influence on so many bands of that era. He just seems really ungrateful to those that helped him and his band, even 39 years later. Literally saying "good riddance to junkies that overdose, one less to worry about". A spiteful and disgusting person in my opinion
