It reminds me so much of a sunflower. I think my opinion would be oranges and reds in the inner circle and a darker orange with lots of cells in the outer circle, then different shades of yellows and light browns for the swipe. I love the blues and gold together. It's one of my favorite color combinations! You are awesome!!❤

Great result! You could try totally different colours for the inner swipe and the outer one…or make the centre circle a different colour (like gold if you used similar colours again) or even use three different sized rings?

That double ring is awesome Mark. I think if you swipe the center, it would take away from the piece. Maybe like a balloon dip..but just a very slight (not over powering) one. Thanks for sharing..really enjoyed😁😘

Great design with the double rings! Putting a swirl effect in the middle is a wonderful choice or a small stencil could also work. Your designs are amazing. This could work p with just about any color pallette.

Aaaaaawwwww, Mark, this piece is sooooo loooovely, just like a beautiful flower. If I was a bee, I would instantly land on it.
It would be interesting to use a different colour palette for the ring swipe than for the rest. Or how about leaving the area between the rings black and swiping inside the inner ring instead?
Some interesting colour palettes would be: violet/purple/silver, red/copper/gold or maybe galaxy colours with a Prussian blue base.... And of course any combination of different greens are always lovely 💚😉

Mark -- I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this painting!! The dimension you've gotten is wonderful! I can't wait to start painting again and try this. You asked if you should do a different color palette. I would love to see something with fuchsia, purple, lime green and turquoise. As you can probably tell from my suggestion, I am a very bright-color person (and sometimes I have to tone myself down). Again, thank you for sharing and being such an inspiration!!

Yes Mark, happy dance indeed. I love the whole composition, the colour palette and that inner circle swipe 🎉 is stunning. I love iridescent paints. Can’t wait for another variation of this! Love it, you should definitely do more colors, Purples would be super pretty on the black, looks amazing as is, but just as a thought maybe , just maybe a solid color in the very center, & maybe one more smaller ring in the center, just a thought to play with, it 10000% looks amazing as is but would definitely be fun to play with different ideas !! 😊😊

I'm Absolutely Loving this piece!! I design jewelry & im called Blue Moon Designs so this piece really speaks to me. It's Beautiful! & the rings in the middle seems to be the way U can do a Solar Eclipse piece. But its just blacks white & some silver or gray. Hi Mark, this is beautiful! You mentioned cells, but I don't see many. Have you tried Valejo pearl medium? It creates a ton of cells.
