- I wanted to do a two-technique creation! With a monochrome base and a rainbow swipe on top! I love the contrast of this piece and love the elements and details of lines and lacing.

▶ Pouring Medium formula: Today I am using Owatrol mixed with water as my pouring medium. The ratio is 1:3 paint/pouring medium. I have a video that shows you how I mix my paints using medium here: • Fluid Acrylic Pouring ...
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Lamp Black and Titanium White for Ring Pour. Titanium white and Australian Floetrol for the swipe. The range of colors are all from Amsterdam.
▶ Hair dryer: Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting

Absolutely loved your explanation of walking the paint when going towards the corners! There are a lot of videos where I'm really liking a particular bit of the design and that part gets poured off while the artist is pouring over to/off the corner. Your technique avoids losing so much of the beautiful details!

Oh Mark, I just LOVE this piece!! The black and white base...then that one swipe through the middle...it's just GORGEOUS...I can't chose what I like best...so I just LOVE them together!! I do like how when you did the ring pours and then we're tilting them in a circle...it really reminded me of zebra pattern...which was very cool...but then when you added the rainbow 🌈...it was like you said...a WATERFALL of color...colorful brilliance, flowing through the mundane. 🌈💜😍💜🤯💜🥰💜🌈

This is simply marvelous! I love the idea of doing those ring pours from a cup... and that swipe! If you do it again, I'd love to see more than one big swipe, perhaps two or 3 thinner ones. But this is just wonderful. I adore watching your work.

I don't know which I like better I loved it when you poured the four black and white ring pores just that was beautiful and then you added the colors and I have to say that they speak to me running through that monochromatic base. It's just absolutely beautiful truly a priceless piece of art! It's like a little river of spring going through two corners of winter!

I think the black and white rings pours with a swipe are my favorite. I would have liked to see a little more red in this but the blending of everything is beautiful. I would love to try this -- but after a little more practice.

I like to combine the several techniks,it seems to more interesting and refreshing as fun too. Maybe purple with shades of purple and then swipe with white and silver 🙈 would be interesting.
