Be careful leaving the sectional cable dangling outside the machine by itself! It may just drop into the pipe on you

nice white mouse you caught at 20:01 🤣
as other have mentioned, be careful leaving the section unhooked dangling a short piece out of the cleanout. I have seen one get pulled right down into the line when a clog suddenly let go, it had to be fished out of the sewer main on the street manhole. they got lucky it went right through and was mostly laying in the main. DOH!

That machine is impressive! I used to run the og Rigid snake machine for a while. The old beard who trained me used to warn me not use aggresive heads because they might punch trough the old fragile cast iron pipes in the appartment houses and then you are screwed, in this case you are cutting roots and it sewms like a house so I'm not trying to say you are doing anything wrong. Towels are helpfull when retreiving cable, get's the mess off right away.
Thanks for the vid and greetings from Finland!

Silver maple tree roots can pay for a plumbers lake home 💲💲 especially if you dont mention copper sulfate crystals to the customer. Spray paint that spring at 20ft. intervals to let you know how much line is out.

Just had to have this done. Called RotoRooter because I was certain it was tree roots and I only have a manual snake. Poor guy had to get that heavy machine down then up the basement steps. Not easy. And it was roots so it was worth the cost to have working drains. And I didn’t make him wade through a mess like you had to do.
